Ah. So when an obstacle came into the way, their immediate response was to quit instead of trying to resolve the situation and turn it into circumstances they deem "fun" again.
If Disco was pure laughs and joy, I do think most of us would be long gone already. Where are people, there are always ones who have fun in a way that others deem less fun.

I think I objected to that Major, check my first post in the thread. But hell, it's their call as to how much effort they want to put in a space shooter game.

sorry to hear that...we were hoping to make some kind of cooperation with you in future...well that is what you get when you change the server from nice-intresting Roleplay to -> you know what , i dont like those let's make a ridiculous RP about them and start the PvP with someone who isn't in that at all.
I am thinking about leaving this server too because of a horde of pvpw...maniacs:Penjoy killing cause as I see it - it will soon be empty and noone to kill.
While I can't speak for the ZTC, I can at least try to shed some light on why they're giving up instead of "RPing" it through. I'll try to explain it without rambling but I just woke up so meh.
Look at it this way.
Zoners In-RP are pacifists, that means that most of its players look for RP and don't have much interest in PvP.
Now, when you have a large number of PvP fights, it's only fun if you at least have a chance right? I'm sure the Corsairs and Anarchists are thinking our chats are filled it "YAY! They're in Theta/O-74, lets go have some fun." This isn't true. It's more like "Great. This crap -AGAIN-." It's only fun for the Corsairs and Anarchists because the Zoner PLAYERS don't like PvP and mostly aren't very good. On the other side, the Corsairs and Anarchists LOVE PvP and are therefore better on average. Now, "RPing" this event through in this situation pretty much means "PVPVPVPVPVPPVPVPVPVP" and as we all know, PvP is not something Zoners do well in general. Lets face it, who here has heard of a PvPWhore Zoner? I haven't.
I feel as if I've rambled so I'll try to summarize.
Zoners= Bad at PvP
Corsairs/Anarchists= Good at PvP
PvP = Only fun when you have atleast SOME kind of chance
Current PvP= Zoners pretty much have Zero Chance.
Fun Factor= Only fun for Corsairs, not Zoners.

That;s pretty much exactly what was going on. YEs we did have the ZDF, but honestly it was more of a for show thing, and meant to deal with NFZ violations and to give some RP benefit to delegates. Other than that, we really weren't all that great.
