It seems you know nothing and yet talking a lot like always..govedo. The morph is youngling, baby aka new born. You can have guns but you are not supposed to. The morph was created in order to allowed players to experience and TEST the nomad RP (not PVP). Once they are ready...they follow the quick aging process of the nomads...becoming stronger and adaptive, joining the faction.
The morph's role is to:
-give the player an option to be a nomad youngling (tutorial)
-travel and explor all over Sirius
-to learn about the humans and their behaviour
-to learn to communicate with the humans and try to understand them
-to observe the situation in Sirius, to connect to the mindshare and knows its enemies
-to increase and enchance its abilities
-to become matured nomad aka (official)
The morph's role is NOT to:
-give you access to free terrorist ID
-give you access to new "pewpew" possibility which dont require knowledge or RP
-to troll people around
-for PVP
Poor me not knowing the difference between nerfed ship and nerfed ID and not nerfed one..
Accoring to your description I can do same as morph as I can do with flashpoint freelancer eagle, except that I would have better ship and would be able to dock everywhere, and oh yes I would even be able to shoot stuff.
If Morph is soo great why you all does not scrap your full nomad stuff and play morphs?
You at this nomad factions are sad people really. I feel for you. As it seems you even believe yourselves...

In short:
I find Trial ID bad joke and insulting to the people that like to RP nomad, and the people with brain does not use it, with such great attitude from the nomad factions it is clear that nobody would play nomad.
So if i understand correctly, Nomad Trial ID is useless, because RPwise you should be able to attack anyone at will...
Many say PvP = RP, and pure theoretically that is true. But it has come to my attention, that no matter what people say, freelancer servers were always marked as either PvP servers or RP servers or PvP/RP servers.
I think that Trial ID offers quite enough to people wanting to RP nomad. (by roleplay now meaning brainwashing, you know the little system/local chat talks and such.)
You can always show your agressive intentions (sort of engaement notice) by RP chitchat, then shoot around target few rounds, until he decides to return fire and wuala. You are fighting the human brainz, while entering the battle in self defense
Ive gone over the thread at length. my posts were largely ignored so.. For what it matters to me it just seems this thread flip flops on all the issues formerly mentioned and is little more then trolling the issue at this point.
I would kindly ask former keepers and current khara to stop replying to this nonsense.. Unless your Dave who is easily provoked I know you cant help it buddy.
Rmorph.. as long as ive known about you.. you never creared to join cause your pride wont allow it. so i mean what else is there to do.. ruin the club? change the community to fit what you want? .. Hell good luck with that.
Anyone else that "hates" us.. Guys this is a damn video game if your not having fun or were the cause of some horrible grievance PM me its open its always have been.
This "discussion" is redundant no ones listening to anyone and no ones talking to anyone in so far who matters to have their concerns heard. this threads been up for most of the month and i haven't gotten a single pm containing a suggestion a request.. or anything.
Edit: Also.. As a result of my underused PM box I am honestly considering adopting a WILDE recruitment system. Its worked well for them for years I dont see why we shouldn't do it on account the power of our ID is so exstensive int he first place.
edit2: if you want to join khara and recruitment is closed may i direct you to the oracles of which is...always recruiting.
So lets call this thing what it oughtta be.. a drum trial. We wont be replying to these and all your going to be talking to is an empty room. Well absent to those who could actually help you that is.
Weeell because it is damn hard to make normal small ZoI in Omicrons for so called trial ID- rename it to nomad ID and allow to fly all ships in the said small ZoI except cruiser and BS in order to make your crap faction some sense to exist as guardians- making everyone happy, while balancing the nomad ships in order not to be OP anymore. Who would care if the ships are not OP and the ID is not terrorist one? Corsairs/Hunters/Hessians etc Omicron factions can shoot stuff too so it is np.
^This line sums up the damn topic.^
You dont want it why?- you are just too special and important players of 10 years video game so you need to be closed and you need to use OP ships, as I said I feel for you... I mean closed factions and admin friendships are so 07.. now there are more players then the 100 people from the begging...
Short and clear in 3 lines..

' Wrote:Sorru but there is not much what you could do with Wilde/Nomad ID except shooting stuff, you could have much more options with freelancer ID for example.
However the point is not in the attitude of the others towards this factions, "gentleman agreements", ganks, hitboxless ships, closed factions, OP ships and guns- what do you expect?
How to treat fair someone that comes to shoot you when you have not even a chance to stand vs him? The point is that the encounter of 8 nom gun scorp without hitbox was not fun for the other side and could not be fun anyway, people play to have fun- so they would avoid the encounter or bring 2 cruisers to get the scrop- this is how the stuff works, you are complaining about it? Well does not overuse OP ships- if you do it for 1-2 years the label stands even if the scorp is not op in 4.86 .
It is not the others who close their recruitment or use OP ships in unfair numbers claiming that others shoot them, many other factions are shot by all of their neighbor factions without having single ally in their ZoI - Xenos, Mollys, Corsairs. You wont find them closed or with OP stuff, you wont find their players acting like "special" ones, it is about attitude after all, if you cannot behave normal towards to the rest of the player base does not expect the others to play ball with your RP, or not to gank you.
I bet that if the said factions wanted they could change everything, it was not really hard to make nom turret red cell in 4.85 for wilde ships- 2 min job for example, sadly you have only "gentleman agreements":lol:so that's why you enjoy the other players "gentleman motivated ganks"
Govedo, I think you might of missed what I was getting at in my post.
Megiddo Wrote:Nomad players become the target of RP and OORP aggression. They get ganked. They point this problem out to the devs, so ships and gear become adjusted accordingly. They continue to get ganked, the reason being that it is near impossible to beat them with even numbers.
Getting constantly ganked is no fun at all, so the Nomad players aren't terribly keen in logging on with their Nomad characters. End result: Order and BHG Core activity dies off and Nomad Space becomes a zone of soul-numbing boredom.
A lot of the aggression I have seen comes from people expecting us to use overpowered ships / weapons which were granted access to because we will always be outgunned and out numbered no matter what we do. Because of this, players know to attack in greater numbers to counter this balance and thus defeat the point of us having better tech in the first place.
Regardless of this being an effective measure in PvP combat, it does not erase the stereotype that all terrorist factions are "elitist pricks who think they are cool because they are in a special club". In turn, when I go out in my Wraith (which has half and half human and Nomad guns) or my Scorpion, or my *whatever* ship and try to RP with someone, regardless of how I approach people, I will instantly be labeled with the previous stereotype thus making it OK for several ships to chase me around when it really isn't necessary. This point stands for when a group of us go out and people have the expectation that we're there to act cool and "elitist" or whatever you want to call us.
So, what am I getting at then? Am I just bitching about how 90% of the time I play on my Wilde characters that this happens? No. I am trying to point out that this is what happens over time: We use overpowered tech, people establish ganking as a norm to counteract us in PvP (which is acceptable) and eventually players get carried away and decide to do this regardless of our specific in game intentions.
Govedo, even you prove my point in your post: "How to treat fair someone that comes to shoot you when you have not even a chance to stand vs him?"
Well, the answer is obvious! You take whatever advantage you have (such as ganking) and use it!
The problem with this logic is that it is faulty. We are not always out there to shoot people. Sometimes we are, but the majority of the time we try to see how people react to our presence first. If people want to fight, then what do you expect us to do? Roll on our backs and die? Sorry man, that's why you might see us in scorpions more often than any other ship.
Now, do you see where I am coming from? If people always expect us to shoot them, then that's what will happen. As Megiddo said, if you go into a situation with a certain expectation, then that's how things will end. Roleplaying cannot be a one way street for this very reason. People need to reciporcate our actions, and it doesn't need to be ganking 90% of the time because we are not out to kill people 90% of the time.
The same goes for PvP, it cannot be a one way street. Go ahead and make fun of "gentlemen agreements", but when there is no way to balance an encounter with us through the game engine, how else do you expect to create some semblance of fairness for either side? I'm not saying Das Wilde, terrorist factions, general player factions, or even myself are free of making bad decisions (read: attacking players when we have a clear, unfair advantage. Instead, I am saying that if everyone tried to be at least a little bit fair, then everyone who plays here would have a little bit more fun.
With that said, how do I think we should enact this? How about we don't have any expectations? How about we just play the game and take it a little more easy?

I saw a post earlier. It said that you complained you were getting ganked, and were given better tech. Then you got ganked even more because that was the only way to defeat you
If you want some fair fights, get in contact with Rmorph and we can sort something out. We're all for that. We're not far away either, so feel free to pay us visits.
Actually I cannot see much of overpowered nomad technology, since the balance team has made some drastic changes...
But still, people are complaining that some fighter weapons have 50 more damage per hit than the others, what does not make any sense since the turret steer threw the balance out the window...
and open nomads? in any case it would turn in a new system, omicron connecticut
