When the Med Force one had entered the Theta system it had picked up a stray stray saber along the way with its name 'Atra Lupus' as the call sign meaning 'Dark wolf', this was one of Christopher Dangen's newer ships which was made for his lack in training with his Nephthys, he had grown use to more nibble crafts such as this one. Christopher stepped out of the ship locking it up behind him leaving the AI to deal with any intruders, having these items with him being his personal effects for the time.
He made his way into the bar sitting around the main part where the drinks would be sold, unlike most times He'd not have his hood up not seeming to care to hide his features as he calls after the red headed waitress. "Salve Dominae, It's been a while since I was able to come to this lovely establishment, could I have one of the coldest vodka's you have? placere." he gives a warm smile hoping she might recognize him as the man who had made the toy for her son.
//Salve = Hello
Dominae = My lady - meant as M'lady
Placere = Please//

Doreen heard the words the man spoke to her and immediately recognized him. She was dressed in some casual pants, a white, low cut shirt and was wearing a fine necklace and her red hair long. She smiled and bounced a little at the sight of him, placing her hands upon his with a gently squeeze before releasing them.
"Hey, Sweets," she said smiling, "of course you can. Um....grab a seat over there and I'll bring you the best we have, Coalition Vodka." She then went down the bar a bit to get his drink made up when she met up with her co-worker and best friend, Rhonda. Rhonda noticed the exchange.
"Doreen, I think he likes you," she said, "Um....aren't you suppose to finish shift about now?" she asked with a wink. With that, Doreen poured a vodka martini for herself and made her way to the table that her friend went to.
Christopher smiled at the exchange and then did so with others giving an odd look, not knowing if it was because of what he use to be or because at what had happened. he made his way over to the table smoothly and fluently sitting down and looking around as he waited for Doreen.
Much hadn't really happened to him since his little escape from a certain group, he was in the process of joining the Bretonian Armed forces due to a future threat and being that he would not be able to escape it he decided it best to fight along side others rather then 'lone wolfing' it like he was use to.
As Doreen came over to him he smiled at her. "Its good to see your in good health, been a long time since I was around or in distance of coming here for a drink."He would seem to relax as he rubs the back of his neck with his hand his cloths as usual covering most of his skin and the blue glowing patterns were still seemed underneath."How has everything been going for you and yours?"As she had places his drink down he would smile and give his thanks."Ago." his eyes were a deep hazel color

She was all smiles as she sat in the chair across from him, placing her own drink before her as she folded her arms in front of her and leaned on them.
"I am OK," she began, "and my son, Benjen, is doing well. I hope that as I further my studies here that I can better care for him. I mean, they've been very good to me here and provided me with much hope and experience but this is no place to raise a child. But, for now, it's our home." She let lose her left arm enough to take a drink before returning to her arm folded position.
She looked into his eyes. "Your eyes are......deep," she commented. As they sat in small conversation, she just enjoyed his company, watching, studying, to learn more about her friend.
Christopher seemed relaxed and was smiling as well watching her take a drink from her glace and sets it back down. the color in his eyes wouldn't falter instead they would turn a darker shade and shift into a kind of dirty yellow."Try not to get lost in them, I'd rather not have people go poking around inside looking for one of my friends."he gives a small smile."And its great to hear Benjamin is doing alright but to be honest I knew I never had to worry about him although hes not min,e I got a soft spots for kids and hes got a very good mother."
He would take a small drink from his drink. "Your right its not, I'd rather think of some where more peaceful, at the moment I am staying on New London, it rains a lot which I love, bit dark and I've got a nice mundane apartment something I find comforting."Christopher smiles a little bit. "Maybe Gran Canaria, a lot of refuges there so could be some good work opportunity I mean well for moving some where to raise your child."He would seem comfortable and relaxed in her presence only looking away from her once or twice when a person brushed against his arm as they moved past which was fixed when he moved more into the middle of the seat and his full attention on her now.

Doreen smiled, "It's just Benjen, not Benjamin but I understand." She then took a sip of her own drink.
"New London," she said, "I've never been there. In fact, I've never been to Bretonia at all." She thinks for a moment, "In fact, I've never been to any house except for Rheinland and that's because I was born there, on Hamburg." She sighs and gets straight faced, "and now, I can't return to what was my homeland after my father's trial. We were exiled and ordered never to return or we would be shot. But, I'm trying to forget that as my father is now a shipwright at Lividia Shipyard and doing fine. Mother recently joined him.
She then takes another sip of her drink, "But they have told me to do what is right for me, what is right for Benjen. So, when I finish my doctor's studies here, Dr. Holliday wants me to finish my studies on planet Cambridge. Where I go from there or what my future holds, I don't know but I don't want to raise Benjen on a colony ship if I can help it."
She was somewhat upset at this point despite an effort to hide it behind a weak smile. "They treat me well here but unfortunately, when some find out that I'm not yet 21 nor am I married and have a child well, folks think poorly of me." She then makes a face of "it figures" and takes a drink, thinking she has bored him.
Christopher nods and listens, he was always good at picking up peoples emotions."Hey, I've had people think I'm incompetent just because of my age and last time I remember I'm still eighteen."He raises a eye brow."Hmmm forgot my birthday, just out of curiosity when is your birthday? and sorry for getting your son's name wrong that's highly disrespectful."
He took a sip of his drink."If you go to study at Cambridge we might see each other, in fact my place on London has a vacant room if your interested in a place to stay for free, really I've got thigns set up so I don't have to worry about money to much and well with now having a new 'profession' I have just that bit more for a income."
He smiled then complemented wither to tell her or not but he decided he might as well."As of a Couple days ago, I am now: Ensign Christopher Dangen of her majesty Armed Forces, under the command of Admiral Owen of the seventh Derby Fleet."He looked proud enough bu there was just something wrong about the tone he said it in.
He then changed to topic yet again."I hope Benjen is still enjoying the toy that I made, took a few hours of working though its a hobby so it was no trouble at all though normally I don't do the wiring on the inside and if people judge you poorly just because of whats happened, tell them its 'experience not age that breeds competence and if you think of me as a lesser then you don't deserve respect'. You've dealt with a lot and that alone deserves respect, not to mention you shouldn't have to put up with judgmental people."He took one more sip from his drink before seeing what she would have to say having been speaking warmly and friendly through the entire conversation, he wouldn't seem to have any guards up at all being at ease, even his features of his face seeming to give a warm look being he was happy to be around her presence. He never caught him self doing this and still doesn't.

"Ah, don't worry about missing Benjen's name," she explained, it is quite different. He still sleeps with the toy you made him."
She took another sip.
"Congratulations on your commission," she spoke with a smile, "an officer and a gentlemen I see!" She then looks a bit sour, "Don't tell Doc about it as his past relations with Bretonia haven't been very good. They always give him a hard time."
She put on a sweet smile at his offer of a place on New London, "That's so sweet of you to offer me that but as Doc explained it to me, he's setting up a place for Benjen and I while I finish my studies at Cambridge Medical. I don't know where my path takes me from there. It'll be new territory for us."
"One thing I do like about being here," she began to answer, "there is no judgement. It's the one thing I love the most about here. Many of us have well, less than ideal backrounds. While I don't think being a young, single mother is awful, others do. Benjen's father is dead, a victim of his own arrogance. One day, I'll find the right man to be his father I'm sure."
Inside, she found him to be most enjoyable. He listened and was objective. While her past may have been full of much hardship, she somehow felt as if he related.....and it kept her feeling warm.
Christopher nods. "Well if you ever need a place to crash, I've always got my arms open to you both and I hope you find a suitable father figure for him and I think he might already know but I'll see about helping to improve relations between the the two."
He finished his drink not being that much of a drinker he wouldn't be bothered by any one having his full attention to her losing the awareness of what was around him. "If worse comes to worst I wouldn't mind helping to be the father figure, I've always had a soft spot for kids." he grins. "Like I've told you a lot of times before.... besides." he talks with a little less joy. "Its hard to grow up with one and no child should not know the love of a father." he gives a small smile. "Besides if you think you got it bad, my past isn't exactly a friendly one for my stay in Bretonia, most people look at me like I'm a monster, that I'll kill them and their family for enjoyment."
He looks out the window. "What others think is not really that important any way, I mean... I care what you think, I care what my sister thinks I care what her husband thinks, but some one I barely associate with." he shakes his head. "They could try get me down but I'll just stand strong as I all ways will because their words don't mean anything to me like those of my loved ones and friends do."
He took a moment of thinking. "Do you think I could take a sneak peek on Benjen. I wanna see how the little guy looks now I bet hes starting ot look like a strong little guy." he gives a small smile. "That's of course if hes not sleeping nor would it be to much trouble to do so."

Doreen found herself both flattered and confused. Christopher was someone she enjoyed being around and found his friendship pleasant but her mind, for a moment, went back to a time when she befriended a Red Hessian pilot so as to help find her lost father only to find herself in an escape pod somewhere in the radiation fields of Omega 41 over 8 months pregnant. Yes, this was different but still, her defenses went up. "Give it more time," her conscience told her. But the idea of a father figure for Benjen sounded nice. She also knew that guests were restricted where she had her quarters. She at least wanted to allow him to see her son just once. She felt that she owed him that.
"Listen," she said quietly, "I need to feed him first and well, I feed him naturally." She had a moment of embarrassment at "feed him naturally." "I also need to figure out how to allow you......", she said and stopped abruptly as she then stood up. She then walked over to her friend behind the bar and then she walked over to the Klingon guard and said quietly to him, "In about a half hour, allow my friend to visit my quarters but say nothing to anyone."
He replied to her equally quiet, "I could be in trouble for this. What do I get?"
She just smiled and kissed him on the cheek just below his ear, "First, you get my gratitude. Second, the bar tab for you and your guards will um....disappear."
The guard just nodded, "I see nothing."
She then returned behind the bar, mixed Christopher another drink, grabbed her overcoat and then returned to the table where she placed the drink beside him. She then tucked something in his closed hand and quietly walked out after whispering, "I need a half hour." She then disappeared.
When Christopher would finally look in his hand, he would find a bar slip, "Room 817, Deck 12."
