"Don't apologise Mister Lennox. There was nothing wrong with the call."
Standing to face Patterson, near Lennox, she continues slowly but firmly.
"There are casualties in every battle. A commanders priority is choosing the course of action that will destroy many of his oponent for few of his own. How many of your men did the bombardment kill?"

Lennox scratches his head and slowly nods to Scarlet but doesn't say anything. A bit worried about the current situation he watches Patterson's and Scarlet's actions attentive.
"grand total 22 i trust the way they died isint needed, thats nearly half of my company but looking over the total tallys you had marked for the bombardment,i can see why you called it down, the others from actual combat with the knights i do not know ,we..we cant find them,i had 50 when the op started i wil lsay this though most of the 22 died under the impact, vaporized had i had advance warning i could of moved"
-he sat down haveing the tags from the bodys he was able to recover, each dogtag normally 2 sets had one missing the other jammed in the man or womens jaw for a constant id he had 8 tags in total-
"I am sorry about that Sir. I don't want to be rude but I think everyone have lost someone today...through conflicts like this there will be always people who die. Sombrero lost some of his men, too. I think the worst thing you shouldn't do now is to let it drag you down....even if it wasn't an honourable death for each of your men...they did their job. I wouldn't live anylonger, too if Scarlet wouldn't have been there." Lennox looks to Scarlet and smiles a bit. "But they won't leave our minds with the things they have done. We should honor their sacrifice, rather than afflict ourselfes with not any longer changable facts. But I am feeling guilty with not warning our own feetsoldiers...that's something I am responsible for...something I also cannot change..."
She sighed quietly, and put both of her hands around her glass, glaring at it.
I believe you could call it like that, sir. I still don't think that's the right way, but if we're forced to defend ourselves, I won't hesitate doing so. I'm glad I got out there without being blown to pieces.
"I can't bring myself to be apologetic. Men died, but they where soldiers, they knew the risk. In all probability more would have died without the bombardment, and had you and your men kept to propper battle-lines none would have died."
Scarlet slowly sinks back into her seat, shaking her head.

Mark suddenly walks in grumbling to himself about something 'being too far away' and 'not getting to join in' before sitting down at the bar ordering a beer.
"It started as a war we fought only in self-defense. But that didn't work at all. When an opponent is both larger and stronger than you, and there is no place for compromise....You can fit in the rest. It's a long story anyways, one I doubt I can tell you properly....If we don't go ahead and fight, we won't survive to defend against the nomads, and that's that."
Lennox nods. "It's all connected with each other. There is no -real- rest, you are right...but there are good moments and there are bad moments. The good moments should be enjoyed...", says Lennox while looking at Scarlet, sitting down to her right. "But the bad moments should be turned into something, the Order and the allies of us can benefit of. Something like experience, a more resistant skin against aggressors and so on. I think that's what the Order was created for...to learn without prejudices...to learn how to fight effeciently against the biggest threat, ever have been there."
