OOC: Guys it's not right for me to take up such an important position in this unit and not be as active as some of you are. I'm still having computer problems, including graphics glitches and a virus from where my daughter was doing homework and forgot to scan a file she downloaded.

I've served as unit leader for over 10 years in another game and I know that you cannot effectively lead a unit if you are not active.

First off may I say, good morning to Fleet Admiral Greg, and on behalf of Galactic Express, congratualtions on your promotion.

I send you this transmision today in hopes of a continued allaince between our two factions, and that we can depend upon your protection. The added security of the Cruiser and two Gunships that have been stationed here is an amazingly use resource, and we greatly depend upon it.

On another note Commander Woods has not been able to get his Long Range Brust Transmitter online to register multiple engaments, I was not aware of this problem till now and am allowing him to use my personal one till his is fixed.

Commander Woods would like me to report that the crew of the Halifax has eliminated a total of 15 pirates, 6 fighters 7 Gunships 2 Cruisers and 1 strange fellow in a Behmoth, that have threatened our bussiness. He has done an excellent job and have recived many recomendations from my personel that he should be promoted, I for one back this motion as he has been nothing but a asset to us and a excellent embasidor of the Southern Alliance.

In closing I hope that our two factions will continue to remain peaceful towards eachother and be able to help each other in our timesof need.

Article Titled: Pilots Survive Phantom Raid!

Two Southern Alliance pilots are in medical after surviving an encounter with the Phantom scourge, one Holly Kay, and Mitch Woods. The engagement began outside the Lane Hacker Mactan Base in Magellan, when Holly Kay, callsign Kayvesk, and the Amoto Battlecruiser came to the aid of a GalEx Fighter. The Atomoto was severely damaged, and the crew forced to eject.
After the Atomoto was defeated, Holly Kay vanquished the Phantom Glock, who was replaced by two SCRA pilots, piloting a light fighter and a bomber. Soon after the arrival of the SCRA, the GalEx fighter was lost to communist fire, to be replaced by SA commander Mitch Woods, who killed the SCRA light fighter, and drove the bomber off. The Phantoms continued to fight with the customary disregard for their lives, and first forced Mitch to eject, and then Holly.
Both pilots have been granted honors: both have been granted the Medal of Honor, and the Wounded Heart, and are currently staying in medical, Commander Woods having sustained life threatening injuries, but is now in a stable condition and is on a quick road to recovery, Holly Kay, however, is in need of intensive care. Holly Kay, on top of the Medal of Honor and the Wounded Heart, has been awarded the Fighter Ace Award, and been promoted to Captain.

In other news...

Fleet Admiral Christopher 'Razr' Phelps is returning to the command of the Southern Alliance Fleet.
