A man stands on a podium, a crowd of people standing in the snowy day on Planet Denver, eager to listen to the rather young, dashing politician standing before them. He clears his throat and speaks,
"People of Denver! I announce today that a new ideal is brought to you from the mind of a man who is very much like all of you. For years now, I sat and watched as the degenerates of Liberty comb our beautiful system that had been so wrongfully pillaged of its goods. That they're allowed to exist within a land that should be as perfect as the silver we used to mine."
He looks over the crowd, his eyes narrowing.
"My opponents ask for us to recognize these terrorists as equals who have somehow been wronged. But it is they who wrong us! It is they who hurt us! We should not have to give equality and freedom to known criminals and murderers! Liberty is built on our backs! On our blood! On our sweat!"
He pants heavily, eyes sweeping over the crowd as he clutches at the sides of the podium, as if he were bracing himself against the words that came from his mouth.
"We have been ignored for far too long. We have been pillaged, raped, ransacked, and various ugly words for wronged. And today I say ENOUGH!"
He raises both his arms to the heavens, a wing of Guardians flying over head, their engines screaming as the crowd roars eagerly. As they buzz off he continues even further on.
"Colorado will get the protection and the services it needs to be safe. It will be recognized as a portion of Liberty that is not measured by the amount of stations that can still sustain life!"
He waves to his audience, now applauding and smiling at this enthusiastic man. He gives a witty smile, a final curt wave, and walks off the podium.
"THE HULL HAS BEEN BREACHED AND THESCIENCEIS LEAKING OUT!"

Simon Dent watched the transmission and scoffed at the foolishness of such a man, his office was small yet clean, large stacks of paperwork sat at his desk, behind the desk was a view of the plaza down below where he could see citizens going about they're day.
"Colorado doesn't need battleships, what Colorado needs is to get it's economy up and running and provide jobs for the local work-force, not spent billions of Credits constructing 'protection', the worst thing you can run into here is one of the members of the Xenos movement and they are the ones we need to get jobs for..." he muttered to himself, his assistant, a young man by the name of Ronald Pool merely nodded as he helped sort the paperwork on Dent's desk into categorized piles
Dent shut off the Neural-Net link and sighed, what was Colorado coming to?

Laibach leaned back in his chair, his transport whizzing through space at incredibly high speeds.
"Bloody fool. He ain't gonna get it right, I say. None of 'em do." He took a puff from his synthetic marijuana, and clicked off the neural-net set, disgusted at what he sees. He cracks his knuckles and readjusts his course, headed back to Ouray.
