Brief history of Planet Primus,
by Ghangu Mmbatol, first of the Council of Wise.



In ancient times, Planet Primus was inhabited by the noble race of primusians.We lived our peaceful life, growing fruits of the planet, and herding our animals under the beautiful radiation-clouds. In due times tribes declared war upon each other, but the planet was far too large for that to happen every day. Then times changed, when cold metal mountains dropped from the sky one day. The mountains carried armed, pink-skinned people without any real sign of hair on their bodies. They called themselves '€žcolonists'€ and utilized superior equipement. They knew how to ride the stars, how to grow crop out of barren land, and how to kill without the swinging of an arm, or leg-even if their puny skin melted down from their bare bones when they have tried to step out of their vessels without their huge space-suits. Our precious green clouds made them die anytime they have tried to do so.

The Age of Suffer:

Our people, the Primusians, existed longer than those humans came to our planet, but when they'€™ve arrived, we had to withdraw from our ancestral territories. Many of us were captured alive, and the humans took them to their '€žresearch facilities'€. Our people had nothing to fight the human scum those times, so we'€™ve named it he Age of Suffering.

Then came something, the '€žInfestors'€ as we call them. In human dictionaries, they are called '€žNomads'€ tough I fail to understand human logic. The Infestors are not nomadic, of that we are sure.( Our relations with the Infestors only came int he modern ages, when we learned how to ride amongst the stars. As they are hostile to us, because they cannot reach us by any means, we are hostile to them. This means, every new recruit to our armada must go out to hunt the Infestors. Those who came back can achieve military ranks according to the quantity and quality of the slain Infestors.)

The Infestors intercepted many colonist evacuate ships (at least that'€™s what the captured colonists told our ancients.) And while the humans were crippled in the space battleground, we unleashed our people'€™s fury upon them. A great battle took place, where we suffered terrible loss, but the sacrifice of our brightest warriors was not in vain. At that day, we eradicated the human scourge from our planet, and the eldest of us declared our sovereignity.



The Age of Sovereignity:

We had brilliant intellectual minds, and during the next 200years, we achieved a great leap in scientific, and technological advance. We had weapons of our own, designed to our people by our people. We utilized superior armor and armaments, to claim control over our planet. Those who clinged to the ancient traditions, were quickly devastated by our great armada. When the next couple of humans landed on our planet, we have greeted them with weapons of our own. It seemed they are not of the same origin as the '€žcolonists'€. They called themselves Zoners, in honor of their operating place. The great leaders of our planet realised that we have to open Primus towards these men, and they signed a non agression pactum with the Zoners, along with a trading alliance. Soon our culture begun to prosper, thanks to the traders. Many of the former warriors gone soft, changing their war uniform for outworlder clothes. This was a grave mistake, as corruption, and decadency begun to rise.

The Age of War:

Then came the time wich was the dullest in our history, when the trader caste gathered their political, and economical influence, and gained rule over the whole planet, trough various trading methods. To be a warrior, was no longer honourable, or respectable. Our warrior blood almost died out during those perilous times. Those terrific times.
Corruption, was on the rise, and our people became soft, and weak, spoiled by the goods our traders hauled in day by day. Only a few noble families kept their warrior bloodlines, but their wealth and influence was gone. The accursed trader caste even set up an oligarchy, led by the so-called '€žmonkey king'€ wich was an outworlder word. We never referred on ourselves as '€žmonkeys'€ this is a human word, just like '€žnomads'€. Reabs no meaning at all. We never call ourselves '€žmonkeys'€, tough we care not how honorless outsiders may name us. They have no honor, therefore, their words sounds frail.

The reign of the accursed trader caste ended 95 primusian years ago. The noble families of Ghuta, Mugaz and Ghangu banded together, and lead a bloody war against the current regime. They'€™ve had a hard time to proceed with their coup'€™d etat, but after 10years of raging war, the trader caste stepped back, and the oligarchy resigned. More than 5000 different primusian were executed after the battle, in honor of the fallen head of the Ghangu family. General Mashog Mugaz cried out with rage seeing his noble friend fall ont he battlefield, and he ordered the bloody funeral. He said, Vakht Ghangu would be pleased with the executions himself.
The intelligent general also made sure, that no such regime will ever come up again. The executed ones were the remaining core of trader resistance forces.

The families set up a new order:

The planet. and the cities were ruled by a council, named the Council of Wise. Every 3 year the cities can vote to delegate members into the council where they face trials, to test their resolve, their will, their intellect, and their unwawering loyalty towards Primus. If a candidate passes the trials, he will become one of the Council of Wise. The all-time number of the Council is 100primusians. Only the First13 of the council is above his councilmen, but they cannot make any decisions all alone. The privilage of the First13 is to communicate with the outworlders. The High Warlord of Primus, Mugaz also set up a new series of laws, with the approval of the Council. Here are the first three of the rules the Council made after the war:

-The trader caste must reborn, but we will only allow trading with food, basic necessities, weapons, and materials required to construct ships.

-The conspiracy with any outworlders has severe consequences, such as maim, decapitate, and tearing apart .
No primusian is allowed to give necessary information out of his/her hands, to die for Primus is better than living for yourself.

-Since those times, our planet prospers once again, but under the watchful eye of the Council, the Warlords, and the militia free of the corrupting force of wealth.

The current High Warlord is Mugatu, from the Mugaz family. I am the current First of the Council, but I grew weary, and wish nothing more than to rest, raise my family, and die in service to Primus. We are aware, that the face of the stars is changing, and High Warlord Mugatu declared, that we act as a community. The Council agreed him ont hat, and therefore I was charged to send this transmission to any and all who would be interested about the corner of space we operate in. We only wish to keep up the sovereignity of Planet Primus, and as you may know now, die first, and destroy everything in our rage than to let outworlders meddle primusian affairs.

We are not a people of madness and rage tough, when we go out of our planet, we always make sure to act as honorable beings, and not to ashame the name of the planet we all are from.

Used Technology:

The main income for Primus comes from re-selling the nomad organs and brains to researchers and research facilitys. This is the reason why is 60percent of the population is in the Primusian Army or any of the sorrounding guilds.

In addition, primusians are great in re-salvaging the damaged/destoyed ships what they find. They mastered the reapir duties: there is no other planet on whole Sirius where are more repair ships than on Primus in percentage. Every single family has at least one repair vessel there, and every single primusian has to participate in basic and advanced class training in operating them.
