The man walks down the corridor as he's checking his notes in the small Pad he's holding. He's been a known face around Ouray in past months, after he was taken in by one of the older Xenos - a rather suicidal one. Even though a known face, not many knew him well enough or even cared. After all, despite having passed Military training, he was not a fighter. Craig Logan, a name that was subject of many arguments when it came to Political subjects, was now only listed in the Liberty Criminal Archives, but still he haven't changed much. Still trying to reach his goals through words and not violence, but he was starting to believe that is not enough.

He looks up as he reaches the elevator, the door is already open, so he enters and presses one of the buttons, after waiting for a few seconds, the door opens again and Logan walks into the Inn. Looking around the room he quickly recognizes the familiar face he's been searching for, so walks toward the woman , clears his throat and says,
"Ms., erm... Coral, I suppose you've been expecting me?" Then pulls one of the stools to sit down.

Chewing on a chicken wing, having the table covered with empty beer cans and cigarettes, she looked a little puzzled and started thinking for a moment.
"You're not the Junker we catched a little earlier uh? No handcuffs and all."
Picking a beer can, emptying it with a few gulps, making a satisfied face and turning her head at her guest again. "What can we do for you, Mr. Logan? I've been told that your recent.. work wasn't going so well. Maybe we should first off try to get a few more brothers out of the Prisons in Texas huh? But where are my manners. Please, have a seat." turning around for a moment, changing her facial expressions from friendly to angry while shouting at the Junker behind the counter "More beer!"

Logan sits and pulls the stool a bit closer to table, then says, "I dropped you a message a few days ago to arrange a..." He pauses and looks at the table, then continues, "Well, a Meeting." and tells himself in a lower voice 'Of sorts...' as he takes another brief look at the table, and continues "To discuss the possibility of me joining the Alliance." and then adds before the woman can say anything, "Although I understand that -Some- of your pilots don't really agree with my methods, and I admit that the way I've been trying to handle things could use a bit of altering... to some extent." then sits back straight and says, "But I still believe the Alliance should at least try to voice their opinion in alternative ways, well... My alternatives to be exact." and looking at the woman shortly, he says, "I'm here to hear your stance about this proposition."

"Tell me about your methods. What makes them so 'different'? See... " the junker arrived at the table, obviously having problems, carrying the two beer cans and a plate with chicken wings. "Just put it down without spilling it and run for your life you useless sone of a.." the Junkers face became as white as the dish he was holding in his hands, turning around real fast and stumbling over a chair while making his way back behind the counter. "Now where was I?" she opened a can and shared the other one with her guest.

"Ah yes.. the methods. What's making them so different to the ones WE use? We have those who talk before they open fire and we have those who open fire before they talk. Aswell as we have those who never talk and just open fire. As you can see we're all evry different."
She picked up the can and put it on her mouth.

"We can give you what you want. Though first, i'd like to know what we get in return."
Within seconds, another can was emptied.

Logan takes the can and looks at it for a second. He's never been into drinking, mostly because of the taste, not because he didn't consider it healthy, but just to be polite, he opens the can and says, "You see... -Our- problem, is that the Government always tries to picture the Xenos as what they aren't. We are not a group of monstrous blood-thirsty terrorists. We just have goals that we're fighting for. Just like any other group." then takes a sip from the can and continues, "Sadly, some of our individuals, don't really help with this 'Public Image'... Even though I don't disagree with their methods, still I believe that shouldn't be the one we're focusing on. Violence, is not the best choice, it's only and only the last resort." taking another sip, he continues "You see, my closest friend among Xenos, Mr. Brians, who was also the very same person who brought me into this base in the first place - and I believe you should know him - is of the 'More violent' type, and through my time as a Xeno, I had gotten to clearly witness the different results of each method. Have you ever seen a Samura Trader deciding to take a route that doesn't go through Liberty, a primary fleet Siege Cruiser captain doubting about the righteous of her superiors for a moment, or a Junker pleading for mercy, and all these -Not- through violence or force, but through reasoning?" He takes a deep breath and continues, "That's something I never saw Nathan manage to do with his own 'Unique' aggressive methods. Even though I have done all of these myself." then runs his finger around the top of the can and says, "But I admit, there were situations and my 'Methods' were totally useless, and Nathan could take care of the matter right away." and says as he points at the women "So you see, with Two methods combined, there is always the best results achieved, while each method on it's own lacks certain criterias." then leans back and adds, "So I can help you fight for what you want, while trying to fix this... 'Public Image' bit by bit. And trust me, only those movements are successful that have support of the civilians and public."

"But, but! Our public image isn't as bad as you think. Actually we're having a lot of supporters. See, USI and DSE recently brought thousands of tonns of food to our soup kitchens on Pittsburgh and Houston. The people there love us because we take care of them in a time, nobody else does. The public image you refer from is the one that you get when being in space."
She reaches for a cigarette and a lighter and then continues while pointing the lighter at Logan
"The 'public image' you get to see outside of the planets is of course a rather negative one." then she lights the cigarette "We're shooting stuff and people to make our cause getting heard. People think we're a bunch of hilbillies, shooting Junkers just because! But in fact we're doing all that to not fall into oblivion.

See: If we weren't causing trouble for the foreign trade, they would slowly overrun the Libertonian market.
If we weren't stopping the Police, they would close their eyes more and more often when they see a smuggler carrying cardamine and such, and spending more time, slaving those poor guys in Huntsville and Sugarland.

If we weren't shooting the Navy every now and then, nobody would care for us any longer. WE are the word of the people WE are what they desire and what they want. WE ARE LIBERTY!
"

That being said, Coral took a look at Jararaca, sitting in a rear, darker part of the Inn.
"I let myself go a bit, huh?" she then continued in a more calm voice "What do you need? You want to talk with them instead of shooting? What is it? Radio Free Liberty?" she leans back and looks her guest straight in the eye while slowly shaking the can in her hand.

Craig listens as the woman speaks, occasionally nodding or scratching his chin, then after the woman is finished, he says "I understand your point, but I'm afraid I have to disagree about certain parts. Xenos do have supporters, which is a good thing. But are they the majority?" He raises an eyebrow for a second then continues, "Trust of people is what we should look for, but trust of the majority, as that is the winning card." then pauses for a second and continues, "Smugglers, foreign traders, slavers, corrupt officers... Those are the ones who often prove that can't be reasoned with, and that is why I mentioned just a few minutes ago, that my methods could use a bit of altering as well." then leans forward and says, "Radio Free Liberty? Yes. Talking -instead- of shooting? No." then pauses to study the expression on the woman's face, and continues, "I have been trying to make my way through without violence for my past months as a Xeno, but one thing was proved to me, which was -Some- deserve to be shot at, those who either don't believe or don't want to believe in our words. I'm not asking you to just let me 'talk' for you. I do have a Fighter and a Bomber parked in the Hangars, even though I didn't use them much. So if you accept my proposal, I will act both as the tongue -And- the fist, for your boys... Because I believe I've learned enough during my time as a Xeno to be enough to take me to the 'Next level'."

Coral leans back. Crossing her arms behind ner neck, she stares at the ceiling for a moment.
"Your request is reasonable and i would have to have lost my mind if i wouldn't agree. You shall get what you want. Priorities in the Hangars, a room on Refugio, access to our weapons and even more.. i'll show you where the Radio Free Liberty is hidden at." she then stands up, wipes her hands on the jacket and reaches for Logans Hand.

"Welcome to the Alliance!"

Standing up, Logan nods and shakes Coral's hand and then follows her out of the Bar with a satisfied look on his face.

_start message_

Greetings, fellow Xenos.

Name's Tucker. Tucker Jobbs. I understand you have a well working organization here that shares it's
long-term goals with mine. I would like to meet with one of you to discuss a position in it.
Why would I want to participate in your activities, you ask?

Liberty is going downhill. We import too much, and that is killing our productivity, forcing the big players on
the market to cut down their losses. Of course they don't improve effectiveness of their production
processes, but fire the hard-working folk - leaving them without money, food or homes, while the
corporate lackeys sit in their sky-high condos or vacation sites. I wholeheartedly despise this situation,
and I always rage inside when I see a mother and her baby begging for money on the street or in the
Ouray halls. I want to help improving it. Should you help me? Should we help each other mutually?
Up to you. I'm awaiting for your reply.

~ Tucker.
