I say no to both.

If I'd worked from scratch it'd look very different than what it is now. Anime is rubbish in sigs, I did what I can do improve on the original.

But ultimately it's not my style.

I like it all, except the text. Perhaps make it in a more abstract font or add some effects to it? You might also want to play with the contrast on Emily's picture.
