To introduce this, I will hand you a conversation that occured between myself and my best friend, on facebook just now.
Tom: Dude Get the new Slash record
Joe: really?
Tom: and turn of your music taste. It's ****ing obscene and awesome.

Joe: If you were to compare it to a specific type of cheese, which would it be?
Tom: 2 minute outro solo? a-go
Tom: It's a full cheese-board. It's better than his last record by a long shot though because it maintains a standard, rather then veering wildly from "cheesy-cool" to "unspeakably awful"
Joe: I didn't get on with his last record much at all.
*a couple of minutes later*
Joe: wow... this is cheesy as hell already
Tom: Yeah. It's godly.
Joe: It's definately a blue cheese.
Tom: I'd say it's a some form of goat. It kicks ass, that's all there is too it... This song is just the tip of the cheese-burg
Tom: it's a veritable mine-shaft of cheese... punctuated with solos that are genuinely his best work since the 90s
Joe: This is actually making me smile enough to want to listen to the rest of the record. I doubt it'll be something that'll be often played... But it's something that sounds like it probably should sit somewhere in my collection of music
Tom: give it a whirl. The worst that can happen is you buy a leather jacket.
Joe: if you ever see me in a leather jacket, shoot me, unless I happen to look particularly badass
Tom: Kay. I'll make a judgement call.
Joe: but I think the "english middle class whiteboy" might shine through a bit too much
