Military Intelligence Task Force
BAF IFF/BIS ID

History

Formerly known as the 82nd Intelligence Task Force, which was originally established by Vice Admiral Roger Hans (Ret.) in 818 AS folowing his retirement from the defensive line of the Armed Forces Fleet stationed at the Battleship Derby. Originally suppose to function similar to Liberty's "Gold Wing" the 82nd served mainly in combat operations across Bretonian space aiding the regular Armed Forces pilots.

The purpose of the 82nd was to put more advance pilots in the cockpit against the brunt of the Kusari invasion. While 82nd ships were also deployed for normal military procedures. By November 28th, 818, the 82nd Squadron was transfered into the hands of Director Regis Lawson, the Director of Intelligence. Director Lawson began converting 82nd Pilots into highly trained Agents for the Intelligence Agency of Bretonia.

The Intelligence Agency of Bretonia now functions as the central intelligence agency for all of Bretonia, acting similarly to it's counterparts in Rheinland, Liberty, and Kusari.

Recruitment

Seeing as unofficial factions cannot recruit openly on the forums, I'm going to simply take a little idea that was implemented with another unofficial Intelligence Agency. An in-character skype interview with the Director and Deputy Director.

Won't outrightly kill your character like, the BDM might do in their interview, but we will have the right to kick you out of the interview if we feel the necessity to do such. Above basic English, and knowing how to formulate sentences and basic knowledge of roleplay is something I'm looking for. Meaning, yeah you might not be the best English speaking person around, but you can get your thoughts through clearly, and you at least know how to roleplay.

The point of the interview will be to impress us, simply put.

Personally my favorite light fighter, simply for the aesthetics.

EDIT: While we are on the subject, here is its big brother: http://discoveryfl.com/wiki/index.php?title=Falcon

Updated the ship list. Both should be on there. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.

I fail to see the point of an intelligence service taht goes around shooting up their enemies.
You need something else to do in-game as well.

Read up on present-day MI5 in Britain, which is what this is centered around.

You've probably only see the 82nd assisting in combat operations, which are part of the goals stated in the OP, and Dab answered the rest of this for me. Thank you Dab.

What i meant was are you doing anything, in-game, besides helping combat operations?

or do you plan on forumrping all infiltration and intelligence gathering operations?

I was a bit brusque though. sorry.
