Jacob too decides it's time for a patrol, and with a brief wave to Sius, he walks out towards his Guardian.

It'd been some time since the Bar and Grill played host to anything more than the usual crowd. The newest addition to the staff, one Geoffry Harvard (recently removed from active fleet service), had taken to counting the empty seats to fill in time. He wasn't sure, but over the past few weeks Harvard had developed a certainty that one of them moved when he wasn't looking. In order to set the record straight the young man had placed a pale white line of the leg of the offending chair, and started cataloguing its location. It hadn't moved yet. Toying with him, undoubtable. Geoffry was about to wander over and give that damn chair a piece of his mind when he was interrupted by a cough further down the bar.

Lachlan Talmont arched a pair of dark eyebrows, as if to say What's the hold up? The younger man behind him was far more blunt, in keeping with the Naval uniforms both of them wore.
" 'tender. Two beers, pronto." Tim Cochrane was known more for flying then his subtlety. In all honesty, Talmont regretted being assigned to the young pilot. Though equivalent in rank the the recruit, the former Junker wasn't exactly getting on with his co-pilot.

Still, a drink was a drink.

Talmont took his beer from Harvard without a word, making his way to the furthest possible table. Who knows, it might buy him a few seconds reprieve from Cochrane.

May you live in interesting times.

Joshua Ashfield strode into the bar room. Place looked quiet so far, like nothing really interesting happened in the last 6 months, and hopefully it would stay that way. Who knows. Took a seat and gulped from his glass of booze, then he glanced at the clock in his personal PDA.

[color=#6666CC][font=Palatino Linotype]"Five minutes." He muttered to himself and grinned.

Natalie Cahoone entered the bar, she looked quite annoyed and showed that to every other person in the room when she kicked the trash can that seemed to be in her way, not even caring about the mess she would create with that action. She had already started to get drunk after her shift finished, which was shown by the half empty bottle of whiskey which she was carrying around with her. She took a seat far away from the others as she wanted to be left alone.

"God, I really really hate Outcasts..." she shook her head after whispering this sentence and took a gulp from the bottle.

Josh noticed the trash can rolling over the floor, which eventually stopped next to him. He finished his glass, got up from his seat, kicked the trash can away and moved to Cahoone. [color=#6666CC][font=Palatino Linotype]"Lemme guess, you didn't expect anyone taking a pic of you while taking a shower? Tehehe. Okay, okay, I kid. What's the reason for kicking that poor bucket over there?"

Reginald Lewis strolled into the bar, still in his flight suit. Noticing Cahoone and Ashfield, he waves in greeting, then goes to the bar counter to ask for a drink. The bartender hands him a bottle of Liberty's finest, and Reggie pours it into a glass, drinking slowly and thinking of other things.

A glass arrived on the bar before Lewis with a definite thud, masking the squeal of steel as the chair to his left grated across the ground. A moment later a woman still dressed in civilian attire, though something about the way she carried herself indicated she was anything but, settled into the seat. She waved the bartended over.

"Brandy please. One, Sir." She held up a single finger to reinforce the point.

It was only then that she seemed to notice the officer next to her, instantly straightening in her seat. Her fists edged halfway to her knees before she remembered that the Bar was most certainly not a saluting area. She glanced at his rank insignia, eyebrows knitting together.

"Sorry Sir, am I in the wrong place?" Inwardly, she cursed her lack of observation. No doubt she'd missed the signs for the Other Ranks Bar. Eating amongst Officers hadn't been standard procedure for Privates in the Marine Corps, and Jane Hartman didn't intend to kick off her Naval career with such a routine mistake. A little early to start thinking of it as a career. You haven't even made recruit yet. she reminded herself.

Lewis turned his head sharply at the voice, training kicking in. Noticing it was a woman in civilian attire, and obviously discomfited in the place, he relaxed a little.

"I wouldn't know if you were, but I don't think anybody will mind if you grab a few drinks here" He said neutrally, taking a sip from his drink. After a moment, the girl's drink arrived.

"Didn't exactly introduce myself. I'm Reginald Lewis, Reggie for short. You are...?"

Redline entered the bar after coming back from Hamburg.

'What kind of a dump is this? Oh wait, I used to hang around here before I got sacked'. he fondly remembers his tripping and being dragged off by marines due to smoking some bad grass. 'He totally needs to get back at Maritz for that' he thought. But that could wait.

Redline walked to the darkest corner of the bar he could find after ordering a beer. He sat down at a table and produced his portable Neural net viewer.

'Sluts & Skanks' is on, he thought. time for some quality entertainment. he tuned in on the Erotic Holo Movie network. And behold, indeed the amount of 18+ filth was quite awesome.

'allright, this is aweso-'

The movie was suddenly cut off.

'what the hell?'

a commercial started playing. a totally shameless recruitment add from the Liberty Navy.

'what-the-hellll?????'

Then Redline saw commodore Robinson on his screen dressed in pretty much nothing.

'WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ****????'

people looked up, saw it was Redline and paid him little to no attention.

Redline however was quite pissed now. Not only was his sleazy movie about plumbers shagging extremely young housewifes interrupted, he was even plagued by Robinson in his off-hours. in blind rage he accesed his home made files. The files he had made while sulking and raging. He uploaded the files as a response to the Liberty Navy's desperate attempts to haul in drooling twats.

The woman nodded sharply at the name. A pilot presumbably. Flight suits were hardly inconspicuous, not that she could comment.

"Nice to meet you Sir. Jane Hartman, at your service." Not literally, of course. She wondered how she would have reacted to the man a few months ago. Certainly not with polite words and Sirs. Time was indeed a remarkable thing.

"Just filed an application." She shrugged, as though it were a minor concern. "The Captain needed to confirm something, so I figured here was a good a place as any. You know the drill, hurry up and wait."

She jerked a shoulder toward the still-fuming Cahoone.
"What happened there, Sir?" The brandy arrived in front of her, the bartender almost spilling the drink in his quest to avoid removing an eye from the vocal officer in the corner of the bar.
