' Wrote:You don't get it though, you don't even try to. Yes, Exiles hate Junkers, we get it. However, the emperor has no power anymore, he sits in a house that he was at war with, at their mercy and wants to shoot possible citizens of that house as if he was still emperor with the power of a house behind him.
Junkers were also not informed, nor did we have any input into a situation that affects us. Hence the complaint. We don't want to be friendly with Exiles, we simply want to be able to dock at bases in Leeds, without having everything go red. Too much to ask, I know.
I know, it's hard to rp, it is easier to just complain oorp, I get it, problem is, that doesnt tend to get people too far.
Edit: Aside from that, I would think Kogen would be a bit more powerful in Bretonia than the Junkers, as Kogen's forces spend all thier time attacking the Gallics and defending Bretonia, and the Junkers...uh....um... I am not really sure what they do for the war effort. Oh thats right, they were a tool for the Gallics to invade Bretonia.
I guess the main issue here is that everyone assumed that the Exiles were thought to be intentionally made neutral to the Junkers (they are a new group, but run by the same people with different goals and motivations), or at least left for future diplomatic talks rather than a forced reputation change. The Exile forces, I am thinking, have no real reason to like Junkers, but going out of their way to shoot them is just something I question, as the former Naval Forces pilots are no longer protecting Kusari space and eliminating a group that is potentially encroaching on their ways of life, like it was thought in Kusari. They can still not like Junkers, but killing them really does not progress any of the Exiles' current goals, unless they are killing them inside Kusari or if the Junkers are actively supporting the Gallic forces.
Yep, thats not surprising is it? Someone suggests the Junkers rp, and instead they decide to just walk away. I know, it's a hard life for Junkers.

So go make that argument in rp. I dont see why it is we have a thread like this, when the Junkers players have made absolutely no move to deal with it in RP first. I am not saying that it will work out, but the fact of the matter is that this is a roleplay game and that should be the first move, not oorp complaints.
Fair enough, I think the Congress got the idea. If they don't do something about it diplomatically in a while I will make some of my own diplomatic talks with the Exiles on behalf of the Junkers.
<strike>Hurr hurr let the Gallic spy do it</strike>

Try RPing with an NPC battleship that is shooting at you during a docking / undocking sequence.

See my above comment. Do you have any constructive advice or do you want to continue bashing people for their frustration thereby fueling the fire?
' Wrote:What I find most appalling about this thread is that it is yet another case of people trying to deal with in-rp problems oorp, without making any, ANY, attempt to deal with them in RP. People would rather complain on the forums oorp than try to come to some in-rp understanding.
What I find most appalling about this thread is the way people are being treated. Maybe they aren't handling this the way you would or even the best way but they have a legitimate frustration. Being destroyed by an NPC battleship while docking where you are perfectly justified to dock can get a lot of people out of sorts.
Now, what I would expect from someone in a leadership position in this community is a little more sensitivity in trying to understand where people are coming from and not the usual sarcasm and snide comments, and talking down to people because they are not doing things the way YOU feel they should be done.
I am now speaking privately to some of those involved offering opinions on how they can possibly RP a solution. I hope you will remember when they do it that you did ask for this.
I am not prejudging how the RP will work out. So understand that it might not work out with the Junkers being neutral with the Exiles. That said, dont you think the RP would be more fun than what we have here in this thread?
