' Wrote:Coin, I don't know where you live, there are no Mooses in Tanzania, but yes, it is pretty dangerous. Sometimes Mooses get violent, but mostly it is the taiga/tundra, which is dangerous. Tundra and Taiga are unforgiving. There are so many cracks in the ground, little rocks that you can twist/break or ankle or the leg on and won't get home because a wolf pack was waiting on you. You are lucky if you freeze to death before they start feasting on the body. So, yes, it is not like taking candy from a baby my friend, not at all.

yes makc, there are no moose (note the plural of moose is moose. like sheep) in tanzania, what with the lions, the cheetahs, the leopards, the hyenas... we have wildebeest, impala, buffalo (cba to post a picture of a reinforced landrover that collided with a buffalo: the driver died, the passenger had his legs amputated, and the land-mine proof landy was totalled. moose? pshaw and piffle. Wolves? we have packs of feral dogs roaming the streets, they attack children in broad daylight. unhappily, there are no trash cans here (they'd just get stolen) so rubbish piles up in the streets, and the rats bite the children too.

' Wrote:Tenacity, I never realized that we have Baffy the Vampire Slayer here. That's awesome news , i mean WHOA !!!! I have always wanted to visit Bulgaria, have you been there?
1. Buffy. b-u-f-f-y.
2. preetty sure the pint-sized van-helsing was in california. I have been to bulgaria many times, and there are no ominous castles on the mountain tops. you must be thinking of transylvania, not bulgaria.

' Wrote:I don't know if I'm rememberting this correctly, but the location on your skype account was "London, UK".

I wasn't aware the reintroduction sceme was so advanced in the south east. QAlthough I think the conseravtionists should keep up the good work. The public demands wolves in Sloan Square, reindeer at Mornington Crescent, bears at hyde park corner, and beavers on the underground.

i know that this is flood. so... just google that yourselves, mmkay?

Makc, on a completely unrelated, and slightly serious note, you use a sat connection to access the interwebs?

you use geostationary or ELO? whats your bandwidth like? symmetrical or asymmetrical? how much (in USD) do you pay a month? you have fixed or tracking dish? where are the terminals? are the sats in a net or an array? do they pass messages to each other, or do you have to wait until the earth terminal comes into the beam of the sat you uploaded to? what do you do in the winter, when the clouds/snow/thunderstorms block the connection to the satellite?

Coin, don't take this so serious. Makc is full of BS. The picture isn't even him. :P

Coin,

thanks for educating me on the moose and mooses. I thought that mooses sounded weird.

I don't know about the dishes and the connection or whatnot. All i know is that we had people coming to our houses, telling us that we have internet now. Perhaps they just laid a cable , i don't know:(
But sometimes during quiet nights I hear very subtle sounds, you can call them whispers, I guess those are the sounds of dishes talking/sending messages to each other. Now I know what it is, because I thought I was noing guts.

I really don't know why Jammi is trying to expose me as being full of shait. I am totally real, I do hunt and the pic is me. So, there we go, now I feel to naked from tell all the truth and nothing but the truth.

What i am really afraid of is famine in our village. Imagine if we discover World of Warcraft or another MMORPG ? I think I will go to our ISP and ask them to block some contect, after all we don't want to die from hunger. I was thinking about asking them to block all the porn stuff, but then I found it useful, so...u know.

ta-ta for now...

makc, its real easy to tell if you have a v-sat connection. is there a large white bowl-like object attached to the roof of the house, and has the tv suddenly got 900 more channels than last year?

or, is there a FRACKING HUGE white bowl-thingy in the middle of the village, pointing south?

yeah, i wanted to know how FL operates on a vsat connection out in the boondocks. turns out that makc doesnt know a satellite dish from a cereal bowl, and that one day, mysterious men came to the house and told him he had an internet.

btw widow, the fee on using my avatar image is one CAU8 per month, payable in advance. Early remittance is appreciated.

But why does the dish has to point SOUTH? What is so special about that particular direction?
