My loyal Outcast friends, you who are not in the 101st, I ask of you.

The 101st have protected Malta and it's citizens for many years.

One battle is not a turning point against us, it is a perfect oppurtunity to enhance ourselves, learn from our misstakes and evolve to a better and superior soldier.

The 101st have always belived in the secondary fleet, and we still do.

Captain Edwards, it is a Libertonian name, or perhaps Bretonian?

In any case, i am quite sure that the 101st officers that where at the location did what they by their tactical expertise knew was right.

The Capital vessels may or may not have changed the course of the battle.

In the future how ever, remember this:

"The enemy wishes nothing else but to split loyalties, to have the soldiers question their leaders, their superiors. And when they do, the army will fall as men to a storm."

Do not doubt your superiors, do not doubt our knowledge of the enemy.

It will lead to self-doubt and in the end defeat.

And when it comes to the 'Reaver.Corp' I am quite sure our Administration are doing the best they can.

For the orange dream and for the conflict!

Comm ID: Eduardo Alfaro
Location: Planet Malta, Omicron Alpha

Hola..

Yesterday we - Kyle, Dante T, Dante M and myself went to Omicron Theta. We engaged in combat with Corsairs after a while of waiting to see what would happen. A Benitez, a Bomber, a VHF and a Corsair Legate showed up to attack us. After Dante T gave the order to attack, we targeted the Corsair Legate first. The Benitez suffered from Ion Storm interference and retreated. We continued to attack the Dread. It slowly retreated to the Freeport, but taking heavy fire from us. We switched to the fighters and started engaging them. I concentrated on the VHF, Eagle class fighter. I managed to make it retreat then rejoined the fight with the other Ghosts. Dante M unfortunately was shot down first during the fight, since the Dread decided to come back. The VHF I made retreat also returned, so I shot its shields off and it started to rapidly drop mines. I finished him off with one CD shot and his own mine Killed him.

Kyle's ship was also destroyed afterwards. A Corsair Gunboat had showed up so Dante T and I went after it, still under fire from the Dread. It did not take long to Destroy.

Two fighters were not enough to kill a Dread so we called it a day... Unfortunately, Dante Todorio did not make it since he ran out of Oxygen.. Something in his ship exploded as well so he could not make it to Malta.. His ship now rests in the graveyard with the rest of our hermano and hermana..

We made a new ally though. Sirlagsalot. He said to call him Lags or Laggy. He accompanied me to Malta where I said that he could make himself at home. The Nation did not see him as a threat Dante seemed to trust him.

Eduardo sighs.

Dante will be missed I am sure...

Eduardo...signing out.

[size=13] Evening gentlemen, after some recent incidents between the 101st and indies, i came up with this to restore their faith in your leadership, be so kind to read it and work along, there might be some fun in it fo ryou guys and if not for the fun or the faction, you can also just do it to earn some cash. i'd very much apreciate it if the 101st would help in this.

copy from event forum:
* you see a nicely decorated room and a young man sitting behind his desk in a fine looking uniform*

Hola people of the maltese nation

Some of you know me, most of you dont. for the ones that dont know me, im Maximus De Castilla. in case you dont know yet, im an outcast. My familly has been growing cardamine for as long as the history books can trace back. but when i look at the Maltese nation now, my outcast heart just bleeds. the IMG and the CR rising in the tau systems, the gallics turning up near our homesystem, the sairs raiding our beloved omicron alpha and last but not least the increased protection from houses against cardamine smuggling. However we are a strong nation, a powerfull nation, a righteous nation, we can smite down these enemies as if they were flies, toghetter my brothers and sisters we can achieve anything, TOGHETTER we are the strongest nation sirius has seen and will ever see. Toghetter.... there is my latest point of concern, rumours have reached my villa on malta that the bonds between us regular independent outcasts and our guardians, our leaders, our shepherds, none other than the 101ST are fragile and could be best described as disastrous. I ask of you my brethern how can we prevail over our enemies if there is internal struggle?

im sure that as a bright people we can solve this in a civil way, ive worked out a way, with the support of the leader of the outcasts: senor Dennis Jameson, i have found a way. One of my Workers will now brief you on the details.

Dont dissapoint me my fellow outcasts, For Malta, For The Maltese Nation, For the orange dream...

*Maximus gets up and walks out the room, a skinny man with glasses runs into the room, takes place, and reads nervously:*

this will be a contest between all outcasts to kill as much enemies as you can, however there are some rules to ensure this actually does restore the bond between the 101st and the independent outcasts.
rules:

* Contest can only be enterd in group
* Each group must exist out of minimum 2 and maximum 4 outcasts
* No battleships are allowed
* Only 1 destroyer per group is allowed
* Only 2 gunboats allowed per group
* Each group must have 1 101ST member
* Each group must have atleast 1 independent outcast
* The 101st MUST be the leader of the group, giving the order to kill, and there must be prove of him being in control/leading
* Seeing as the 101st are the leaders, a "squad" is not efficient if he gets killed, therefore when the leader (101st) gets killed, you can earn no points anymore regardless wether you kill the enemy or not
* If the last independent of the group dies, there will be a penalty because the leader (101st) has the job to keep his men alive (especially with every outcast life beeing sacred), each kill will only count for half the points its worth
* Battleships count for 3 points, Destroyers 2, gunboats 1.5, fighters/bombers 1
* I do allow group transfers, lets say if your fighting with leader A on monday, you might leave his group and join Leader B on tuesday.

List of enemies can be found here: http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?...5332&st=10

Screenshots must be taken of every kill and posted, when posting a screenshot you mention the group members, what they fly, and the system
when taking a screenshot use /time after the kill and try to make sure all the groupmembers are visible on the background.

And ofcourse the prices from senor Maximus his personal funds:

The group with the most points will receive: 75.000.000 credits
The group with the second most points will receive: 50.000.000 credits
The group with the third most points will receive: 25.000.000 credits

Start date: Friday March the 25th 2011
End date: Friday April the 1st 2011
The winners will be anounced on: The 2nd or 3th of april 2011

Spread the news outcasts!!

*the skinny man mumbels, "have i forgotten anything, nope seems to be all", before leaving the room*

A Psalm out of the outcast history books.
The dons are our shepherds; I shall not want. They make us live with a cause; They lead us trough the still vasts of space. They restore our souls; They lead us in the paths of righteousness For The Orange Dream. Yai, though we fly through the valley of the shadow of death, we will fear no evil; For the Spirits are with us; Your leadership and Your cardamine, they comfort us. You prepare a safe home for us in the presence of our enemies; Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us All the days of our life; And we will dwell in the house of the outcasts Forever

Good day.

In the wake of some information which was placed before me late last week, I now realize that two pilots are prepared to enter the ranks of our other Lt. Commanders.

The first one is Adain, who has put much effort into the defense of Malta as of late. His promotion is long overdue, and to compensate for the delays I have taken the liberty to install an upgraded set of engines onto his ship.

The second pilot is Angelo Giovanni, who has shown that he is a great asset to our nation. It is the hope of the Maltese navy high command that he will continue this trend in his new position.

Congratulations, pilots.

It is with great honor I thank you for this promotion.

I shall for ever be in the service of Malta, and in addition yours.

Let the blood of our enemies make us stronger!
And let the fuel of war enrage our souls so that we may better ourselves and in the end crush those that holds our progress down!

For Malta and for the Orange dream!

Hola, Ustedes.

I am just checking in to report my recent activities. I awoke today with alarms blaring as an officer chimed into my comm system telling me that a large wing of Colonials had entered the system and engaged some of the Rookies that think they can fly. I arrived at my ship and, since it was prepped, launched. As I exited the atmosphere 14 red hostile tags were picked up by my sensors. I immediately warmed up the weapons and heading into the fray. Our pilots seemed glad to see me. One Ranseur was under attack by all of the Colonials, a Spirit gunboat showed up and they quickly shot it down. I ordered all fighter pilots to engage my target: Ensign Tucker. They did not listen. Soon all were disabled. I remained and began the jousting with Tucker. At least some of the CR's had scruples enough to not engage. The fight was......interesting. I scored some shots with my Dulzians and Mini, but nothing that disabled him. After a few more passes he launched a series of mines, then a stray Cruise Disruptor tripped all of their sensors. I attempted to evade but the explosions disabled my manual controls, and blew the fighter's power grid. After being put out of action I watched my enemies leave. I was furious at my immaturity as a fighter pilot.

Upon being towed to Malta and having all systems returned to normal, after ten long hours, I launched again and started my scheduled patrol. As soon as I left Malta a red popped up again. He piloted an Eagle with Gallic tags, The Maquis. I stopped him and asked him why he entered Alpha. He explained that he is sneaking by to kill Nomads. Stunned by his blatant rebelliousness, I back away and turn on my targeting systems. We engaged and it was a short fight.

Afterwards I travelled to 23 and found and IMG coming to the Jumphole. I quaintly asked him to turn back and he offered to duel. I accepted and we danced.

Good day.

Today, at about 18:39 MST, Admiral Fawley suffered a critical malfunction in his primary cerebral uplink, causing immediate loss of all data as well as rendering all of his organic components useless. This is a black day for Maltese science, and I shall personally see to it that his carcass is put to use so that we might one day overcome this flaw.

Dante Moretti has been selected to take his place, and our projections show that he will be more then capable of performing the duties of the late Jacob Fawley, including taking the helm of the Dies Irae herself.

Long live the nation.

Today i had a little chatter with one of our newest addition, senor Jack. I understood from his questions that he was performing background checks of incoming pilots. What surprised me was when he asked me if Junkers are friendly to Malta. Obviously this man neglected his duty to read our laws and understand the basics. My personal opinion is that of educating him. Uneducated and insecure pilots are a hazard to everyone including themselves when they are representing the 101st Outcast Guard.

Just a thing i noticed while taking out some random GMG eagles in Beta. Rather dissapointing to always fight recruits, but well. One must do what the assignment says.

Hello everyone. The past day has been incredibly unfortunate. Upon the late Admiral Fawley's death a new Admiral has taken his place: Dante Moretti. Today I was honored to have witnessed the Dies Irae's first kill under its new command. A IMG Zephyr entered Tau-37 and I was dispatched to investigate. Upon finding the ship, it retreated to Tau-23. After some consideration on the Admiral's part, I proceeded to scout. The target was about 13 kilometers away from the Jump hole. But when he realized I was only a single Bomber he moved in on me. Then Admiral Moretti jumped in and stopped the enemy in his tracks. I was ordered to engage, with support of the Dies Irae. The target attempted to destroy our Flagship but failed miserably, therefore beginning to flee. He did not get father than 2 K. Our Nation's most advanced Ranseur struck the infidel down with its might. Here are some GunCam shots:

GunCam #1- Zephyr (Engagement)

GunCam #2- Zephyr (Engagement)

GunCam #3- Zephyr (Confirmation)

Quite a while beforehand, however, I was attempting to sharpen up my fighter-handliing skills. I succeeded in NOT beating Cpt. Garrison. I did win two sim- well, one and a half simulations. Fighting against a Freelancer Eagle called Death's Breath.

GunCam #4- Eagle (Confirmation)

GunCam #5- Eagle (2nd Confirmation- Draw)

Thank you,

Lt. Cmdr. Adain, signing out.
