Uh ... a big new target for the Order in Quebec then ...
maybe they were unaware of the Nomads in Munster, but this huge military operation of Liberty in Bremen - the Order must have noticed it.
And what would Rheinland do about this? Give resources to help the Order destroy these base? Okay, it would be better for Rheinland to get this facility back, but to be honest ... Quebec is so far away, how should Rheinland recapture it and bring it back all the way through Liberty? It would be better to let the Order destroy it, so that Liberty can not take advance from it - and Rheinland could easily (okay, at least easier than Liberty) capture some Wild and start that research all over again. At least they have the knowlegde, Liberty (at the moment) not. A fast destruction of that Munster part and a new facility (maybe the Schatten research site in Frankfurt? Hidden in a nebulae, an alien mine field around and far away from Liberty) should serve Rheinland and weaken Liberty most.

' Wrote:If you look at the section about Liberty Corporations, you will see that trade between Bretonia and Liberty is heavily defended and escorted, making attacking it a huge risk. With all the trade between Kusari and Liberty, much safer and much more money to be made there.
It also specifically says that the Liberty's Navy is occupied in Quebec and Texas, and that Cortez and Magellan is less defended. Less being a comparative term. Meaning less than now. :P

"The Navy'€™s best pilots are nowadays based in Texas and in the Quebec Belt systems, tasked to patrol deep space and engage Rheinland scouts and strike forces. This left the Independent Worlds less defended, particularly Cortez and Magellan."

Zelot's sitting there telling me that because someone spontaneously decided HF isn't involved in the storyline (which isn't really the point either way here), then according to lore, even though Vespucci has Hellfire Legion NPCs that shoot at Lane Hackers in 4.86, the Lane Hackers are still based in Vespucci?

I didnt ask Igiss about this when proof reading it. I assumed it was the way he wanted it, because I see no other mention of the HF anywhere else in the storyline. I dont know for sure, and we will just have to wait for Igiss on clarification.

*sighs*

Point isn't whether or not the Rogues or HF are more powerful here. I disagree with you on a certain level (though not on another level), but power honestly doesn't matter here. What I was saying was that the Hellfire Legion survives and maintains the power it does have primarily by being a place of refuge for political refugees. But that ultimately doesn't matter here nearly that much. I was just throwing that out there as part of my initiate "wait, what?" sequence.

So you guys decided that two Outcast allies should start dealing with the Order who are firmly allied with the SCRA?

Wow... I hope the Wizard of Oz gives the person who made that call a brain, which they are in dire need of, one of these days.

Soo... more Nomads, Rheinland bombers in Quebec, the Xenos helping Bretonia and Junkers getting shafted because of some mysterious, ethereal connection to the Gallic ones?

O...k...

See the Xenos as an equivalent of the QCP, if you want.

No it doesnt, it is Xenos acting in defense of Liberty, that is the core goal of the Xeno movement.

Right. As long as we have the whole "you're telling me that the Lane Hackers are based out of a system where everything tries to murder them" thing clear, I'm not gonna eat any heads today. Though I'm still rather unhappy about the unlawful side of this whole this, especially the Rogue and Xeno parts.

Yes, but there is a much larger contingent of civilian escorts with the ships moving between Bretonia and Liberty. Are the Hackers going to go after one transport with 10 escort fighters or a convoy of 3 transports with little to no escort up between Kusari and Liberty?
