OK, so the devs have this wonderful storyline in their heads and we are going to have to follow it. So now that Kusari is in the process of being isolated and totally screwed over basically being annexed by Gallia (in the same way that Austria was by Germany in the 1930s) through the non-agression pact we have been told about, what is the script that we are we being expected to follow?
It would be nice to know so we don't waste any more time in RPing something we are not going to be allowed to have happen.

Blood Dragon players and factions, as well as GC players and factions for quite some time have complained about the lack of activity in Kusari because the KNF, the main enemies of those two factions are in Bretonia. The Kusari story line was designed to develop activity between Kusari factions in Kusari. This is all done with the hope of bringing more activity and more life to Kusari.
The clear goal of the KNF on it's return to Kusari, is to deal with the Blood Dragons. This should bring a much needed boost in activity to the Blood Dragons, and a reason for them to spend time in Kusari.
Hey, I thought somebody might want to know that from a pragmatic standpoint, Vespucci might as well become a nomad system and hackers could be without any guard bases in the next version and it wouldn't complicate things too much. It only boils down to where to buy gear, lane hackers are way smaller than liberty rogues and don't need a guard system to function.
From the entirely same point of view, the distance of such a hostile Vespucci jump hole from a Hacker base should be proportional to the amount of potential hostility of the destination system and its inhabitants. Meaning, if the HF plan to shoot Outcasts, Rogues or other folks who visit Mactan (and I have nothing personal against that diplomacy change), having only a 10k distance of "neutral" space could cause a lot of grief. Just a thought, from my pragmatic, gameplay perspective.
Otherwise, Hackers getting in contact with the Order seems fine. Running deliveries through the LSF and LPI guard system could be challenging.
Agreed. I'm all for relocating the Vespucci hole to somewhere not on Mactan's doorstep if it means less potential grief between players.
Characters Alan Markson: The Hellfire Legion's Lord Commander The Perihelion: Freeport Four's guardian, and yet much more. Missing and assumed Lost with all hands. Eric Dresmund: Junker, smuggler, thief. Last seen drunk on Beaumont Vayrn Wyard: IMG Recon pilot turned Neo-Terran Captain. Last location unknown
Re: Faction leaders complaining that "not what faction would do."
The characters that make up a faction might not always make the best choices. People do stupid things. The characters also don't have all the knowledge players do. Nobody is saying "all Xenos go to Bretonia and line up to be shot by Valors." It's just an option for some Xenos.
