Dr. Julius Wittenberg
Born: Planet Berlin

Well, I guess it is inevitable that the time at the university had to end; I just hoped it would have been later rather sooner.

After 4 Years of Studying Math and Physics and 4 Years of working on my thesis, it is time to proof to all my critics, that using my work it is in fact possible to calculate the position of Gravitational Anomalies as well as the location of Solar systems and their geographical markers. Even of those, we cannot even imagine to visit of in fact even discover.

How am I going to achieve my goal? Easy, using my Formula I will create a computer generated, complete, to the Meter exact Map of Sirius.

The first step will be to create a map the old fashion way. I have to map out every square inch of Sirius.

Unfortunately that means field work.

God if I could avoid it I would. But I cannot trust anybody to do it for me since the readings have to be exact.

The core systems of Sirius meaning the house Space should not pose a big problem since there have been numerous scans and surveys already which I can rely on.

The Problem areas will be the Edge, Border and from what I have read the Gallic controlled Systems.

It is being written that I have to get permission from the Gallic Crown to enter their space. That could be a problem. I think I will try for Gallian space last, perhaps If I can show them the work I will have done till then, they are more inclined to let me enter.

I will start from the TAU Systems than go through the OMEGA's and last the OMICRON's when I got all that I will try to persuade the Gallic Crown to let me in and map their territory. And then I will create my Computer generated map.

Entry 1 -
Location: Planet New Berlin, Berlin System
Destination: TAU Systems
Through: Corfu Base, Omicron Theta, and Cambridge System
Credits Remaining: 4.000.000,00

I Professor of mine told me about a Long Range Vessel called "X11 Deep Space/Atmospheric Civilian Freighter" that he says is perfect for my needs. I am going to buy it, let’s just hope it has enough space for my Books and the computer equipment I am going to need. He says the easiest place for me to buy it is the Corfu Base in Omicron Theta. He gave me the Coordinates and an old ship of his. He said I had to pay him after I return. Well, no need worrying about that now.

The trip to Dresden went quiet just had to stop a couple of times for the Rheinland Police. It is good to know that we are being kept save. In Dresden I got stopped by some Hessians they wanted my money that was the scariest experience I ever had. After I told them What I did and who I was and after they had stopped laughing they let me go I have no idea why they were laughing in the first place but that’s okay.

Omega-15 - Was quite a sight the twin suns are fascinating, I would have stopped to study them but I have time for that later, first I have to go on and get that ship.

Omega-41 - Days and days in that system trying to find the Jump hole everybody was talking about in the cartography department at the university. If I hadn't found a base I would not have made it. My ship was falling apart from the Radiation of that Neutron Star. There goes the first part of my 4.000.000 Credit loan. Already major problems and I have not even reached Omicron Theta. So far I have found two other Jump holes, both not the ones I am looking for, but I marked them in my Navmap. For further reference.

I had my first run-in with the Zoners. It was... Interesting. I do not know what I should think about them. It feels like they are quite like the the people in the Core system but are all a bit more well I can’t really describe it. I shall write more about them as time goes by.

I finally got to Omicron-Theta and bought the ship. I restocked on supplies and am nearly ready to go. All I need now is to get my scanner equipment. I am planning on using 5 all independently working scanners.

1 "Discovery" Scanner
1 "Endeavour" Scanner
1 "Advanced Deep" Scanner
1 "Deep" Scanner
1 "standard" Scanner

To ensure my readings are accurate. I was thinking about getting what is widely referred to as the "Battleship" Scanner but seeing as I do not have the credits or a way to install it on my vessel I shall use the 5 Scanners and let the technitians at the University do some fine tuning. After that I will head to Cambridge and get my Computers looked over and updated. After that I will start my journey.

Well, I got all the Scanners and the rest of the equipment. Now I have less than 800.000 Credits left. For the trip around Sirius. I have a feeling with repairs and Equipment the money is going to be quite tight.

The Trip to Cambridge was scary I feel that Sirius space is not policed good enough. I nearly got robbed about 10 times. Maybe I should have listened to my roommate about buying weapons for my Vessel instead of just having the ones my Professor had on his ship.

But the fact is that I still do not believe in violence.
