Admirals, I have been pestering my superiors for some time now, regarding a sideways move in my Military service. I have expressed an interest in leaving the Active Response for a more main stream role in the Military, under the RM insignia. I was told to petition for such a move to yourselves.

I believe I've served along side many of your pilots from all ranks in the past, and I hope to do so under your leadership in the near future. I also believe I would be more than just another number in your ranks. I ask that you give me that chance to prove myself to you.

Unfortunetly I must try and keep this transmission short, my ship is under inspection and I must keep watch on it.

Today Rheinland Military forces intercepted what was found to be a Liberty Assault Carrier. After a check on the comm center it reported that this fool of a pilot was 'kill on sight'. Captain Topf and the wing of Military pilots moved to Hamburg and destroyed his vessel with little damage taken.

After returning to the Planet to continue on with patrols, a distress call from the planet reported that a prison break happened moments before. And it seemed we got the transmission just in time, a Junker under the tag 'Vagobond' was caught carrying the prisoners that had just escaped. He was engaged and later destroyed by our Fighter wing.

Heh, I found this one amusing, A Corsair thinking he would of been a neutral party to Rheinland was sadly mistaken. His fighter was engaged infront of the planet by our wing. Quick and slick he flew which made our capital ships worthless towards damaging him. Unfortunetly the target was lost through the trade lanes and escaped to the Stuttgart system, he won't get away so easily at next.

Soon after A Xenos Pilot known as Plague entered orbit of the Planet, Admiral Hiltraud engaged his vessel and destroyed it soon afterwards...

It appears that my recent purchase of a Rheinland bomber and 2 Nova antimatter cannons has paid off. While pursuing the aformentioned Liberty battlecruiser pilot Valdemarian, I repeatedly used the dual Novas to great effect, and I manage to land the killing blow upon the bogey. A black box shot is enclosed as proof.

Sh.. *clears throat* Shortly after the others retired for the evening, a mercenary ship IDed as the Ali's Sabre requested permission to drop some mechanized units on planet New Berlin's dark side as part of a contract to root out some pirates hiding in our system. I advised him that he would be watched closely due to the recent prison break, but to proceed. He up linked the com chatter straight to my receivers and... They succeeded in finding a pirate encampment on the planet in the mountains. Some of the escaped prisoners must have commandeered Rheinland craft, for his ground forces encountered IFF Rheinland mechanized forces that were not in any report of being in the area. I double checked with command, and my earlier assumption was correct. Rheinland was not engaging his forces, so the pirates must have obtained the units somehow. I told him to have his men defend themselves.

After the assault was done, i retrieved the coordinates of the base, forwarded them to ground control, and units were dispatched to investigate and control the area further. No prisoners were brought back on board the mercenaries ship, only his own men. I scanned him extensively and found nothing out of order.

Just as he finished collecting his people, a mercenary IDed ship flying police tags of an unknown house moved to where I and the Ali's Sabre were in orbit. the ship labled Debiru began transmitting unknown data, and spitting out messages with details seemingly that he was filming the Ali's Sabre's operation, and myself specifically. I attempted to hail the ship, with no response returned. I then warned that not responding will be treated as hostile intent, no response was given. I fired warning shots, and the ship returned fire. The resulting engagement flew us all over the system, he still transmitting random data at different times, i trying to shoot him down, and the Sabre attempting to decode the transmissions and aiding in my attempt to silence this unknown hostile. The ship ended up fleeing to the sigma 13 system, which i then broke chase.

The only data the Ali's Sabre was able to decode was "Westerwald".

I am unsure of how to treat the situation, so for now i will resume patrols.

Ship designated Debiru, translated from the ancient Japanese language means "Demon" or "Devil". You
failed to mention the class of ship in your report, we will need this information. From your description it
appears to be a reconnaissance probe, perhaps from one of the Kusari pirate factions. Why would there be
anyone filming in Rheinland is yet to be determined. You did as would be expected considering the
circumstances, our commendations.

Further confrontation with ship designated Debiru should end with its destruction unless you can establish
communications. We cannot have possible enemies recording our movements.
