Hello guys! I've done a search on the forums and didn't find anything very related so...I don't know if it was asked before, if so I bring you my apologizes.
I've heard that armor upgrades take cargo space. If so, is there any relationship between each armor upgrade (Mk I, II, III, etc.) and the cargo space it takes?
All armours in their classes take up the same amount of cargo space. The initial cost is the only changeable
factor, apart from its increase in effectiveness. The only one I think that bucks the trend is the cap armour
VIII, which takes 50 slots less than the others, but cost nearly as much as a system ...

I think what Arthad is asking is.... yes the higher the armor level, the more cargo space it takes up. I'm pretty sure its 1:1 -- ie. MkI takes 1 cargo space, MkII takes 2, and so one.
(That's for fighter armour... dunno about capship.)

Hey! Yes, that was exactly this!
So a non-capital-ship Mk I takes up 1 cargo space and a non-capital-ship Mk VII takes up 7?:)
@Modders: I assume there is no way to mod the armors so that they take a percentage of your cargo space rather than a flat amount?
