After all the Nomads don't have a cease-fire with Junkers and the likes. Furthermore even the sight of one of a quishy can cause the captain of the non-outcast transport to panic and flee, thus us losing the supplies and the supplier. Truly beneficial "alliance" we have there...
Nomads and Wild shouldn't be shooting up supplies coming to and from the Outcasts.
Same way they shouldn't be shooting up ships that the OC aren't hostile to in OC space.
Quote:Mind you, nobody is accusing the keepers of doing anything wrong by the server rules - it's just an observation that what happened isn't characteristic of what the keeper gameplay was meant to be. Admit it, ganking in overpowered ships which are supposed to serve as Mind Nodes is not what the whole standard of recruitment you gents exercise is all about.
*EDIT* either a simple 'no, your faith in one of the few bastions of rp in an otherwise pvpwhore server is well justified, this is just an isolated incident that is contrary to what we're about' or a 'yes, your faith is misplaced in our elitist faction which isn't meant for ganking with deliberately overpowered ships but we do it anyway' would suffice. I'm hoping it's the former, since I still have faith.
*EDIT 2* Also, if the keeper faction is aknowledging that this sort of behavior is commonplace and accepted, then the nomad ship line should be balanced to fit to the new gameplay of ganking common ships. I was under the impression that nomad ships were overpowered because they were balanced for being always outnumbered.
Outcast ID restrictions only apply when sanctioning lolwut OC though, none of the justified OC get sanctioned for it.
I'm sorry, but I'd much rather have the freedom to deal with lulwut Outcasts myself, in-rp rather than leaving it up to a rule which isn't seen in any other ID. For instance: Indies Hessians aren't barred from blowing up SCRA ships so long as they are willing to take the consequences.
And on another note: I'm not quite sure I wish to grant the power to sanction an Outcast who is merely following their RP to every Nomad out there.

I've seen them threatening them though, to which the most logical response of the transport would be to run. Since we all have the meta-knowledge that Noms and OCs are friends, they can expect not to get shot. Doesn't mean they should know it inRP. And again: going around and bragging about how the nomads are your friends is just stupid.

That.
And Keepers seem to attack only weak =CR=, never showing up in Omicrons? :^)
This is not a bloody bitter "We lost such and such".
Yes people are annoyed.
Yes lots of ships went boom.
These posts however are not because of the sheer level of destruction but by the 'diamond standard' roleplaying faction of Discovery rolling around apparantly ganking people with little to no roleplay.
That is what people are trying to say Akura.
The =CR= lost fair and square, that's a fact. The gunboats trounced =CR= forces pretty damn well and it was quite a bit our own fault.
That is not being disputed.
