Congressmen,
While attempting to evacuate women and children from Yanagi today, several transports carrying approximately twenty five thousand people on board was attacked by a Wild raiding party in Sigma 19. Four pilgrim liners were doing business in the Munich system and immediately responded to the distress call. Some of the transports escaped and some were found drifting without power after jumping to Sigma 17. They were in danger of immediate hull breach. The pilgrim liners managed to rescue most of the passengers and were en route to Yanagi for emergency medical care and to make arrangements to have these people transferred to other bases.
While en route to Yanagi, these for pilgrim liners were attacked by the KPT. The KPT was informed that these vessels were on a rescue mission carrying wounded refugees. The KPT only replied that the emperor had ordered them to eradicate all Junkers. They then proceeded to destroy the liners and killed everyone on board. These reports are only just beginning to come in to us. We do not have all the details on the casualties. We will post more information as it arrives here on Rochester.
As I sit here I cannot find the words to express my shock and sadness. This was not defense of their homeland. This was not an act of war in anyway. These people had committed no crimes. Over seven thousand people were summarily executed only for being Junkers. This is genocide.
These vessels were not in Kusari.
These Vessels were not bound for Kusari.
These vessels were not a threat to Kusari in any way shape or form.
These vessels were engaged in no illegal actions.
These vessels were destroyed simply because they hate our kind.
It is time to call the emperor out. I demand an explanation for this action. Where is the honor in such an action? What gives you the right to summarily execute thousands of people because they are different from you? I call on all those dealing with Kusari to observe these events very carefully. Kusari may be treating you well now, but see how they turn. If they view you as being different, they may use you to their advantage for now. I hope you never outlive your usefulness with them. We now see what will happen.
This is a horrifying experience. These were innocents snuffed out for nothing but being different. Truly a despicable act of terror! No words can describe the pain I feel after hearing of this attack.

The images are starting to come into us now. I still don't quite know how to explain it all. The Leader of the KPT is blaming this on us. He is saying it is our fault for being there. Let me take this opportunity to tell you all what a dishonorable liar he is. Those people were being evacuated. They were ambushed by people paid by Kusari to hunt Junkers. All they were trying to do was get out of the area as the KPT had requested. They were taking them back to Yanagi for emergency medical care.
Once again I call on the emperor of Kusari to answer for these dishonorable actions of his people. Are you just as dishonorable sir, or do you have some explanation for this?

This did not occur in Kusari.
This was not an attack against anyone.
This was a response to an attack against us in which my people never fires a shot.

Thank you Kazuko as well. I knew that those is Kusari consider themselves to be a master race and anyone who does not look like them to be less than human. I was just wondering if one of you would actually admit is. It seems you have given the real reason for this attack that your emperor lacks the honor to deliver.
My hate for the Congress aside, these sortsa things can't be tolerated by any Junkers.
But what is there to do in regard to the Wild?
Near on nothing, I'd say.
As for Kusari, this is where my hate for the Congress comes back into play.
Their decisions have caused the deaths of thousands of Junkers, how can we continue to listen to their blathering as gospel?
Surely this proves their incompetence as leaders of our society. Because they couldn't give up the ounce of power they have within Kusari, many people died.
Your friends, family, aren't on Kusari's hands.
The Congress might as well have pulled the trigger themselves.
