It was kinda like this bounty I put up. See what it says there? "This transmission is blocked for all Junkers"

Two seconds after, JunkerTown warns every Congress character in the message dump (Post #458) about us hiring people to get dirt on you. As players, fine, you know about it, as characters - don't be ridiculous.

I think this community has a word for people who sit on an Outcast character in Tau 23 and wave at the smugglers flying by and then switch to an LN character at just the right time to bust them.

It's called being a metagamer.

Says blocked for Junkers. Sure, no Junker should post there. However, the Hacker, Rogue, Molly, Hessian, etc could tap a Junker on the shoulder and say: "You know there's another person out to get your right?" The Junker could say: "Really? Lemme see." It's not that far fetched.

But yeah, faction feedback isn't the place for your quarrel with a single member. Take it to PM's.

Ok if you can block your transmission from being received for junkers, although its open for all freelancers and criminals...

But how can you expect freelancers or criminals or anyone who has a junker businesspartner, and a stake in him not getting killed, to not tell his friend/associate about this?

Kinda stupid no?

Is it really worth coming to a feedback thread to whine about it?

Next time, be a little smarter in who you send the message to if you dont want a certan party to know about it.

You read something you find on the communications section, and draw some kind of vague justification that you "have a feeling" something is about to happen. And then you take the exact counter-measure (in-character) to avoid the imminent threat of what is to come.

Now not only that, but when Hawk states: "I heard he talked about Junker Congress." Is bogus, no .:J:. character was even there at the scene when the Molly said it. But the Molly himself never informed the Congress. Are you going to say a passing Corsair NPC-patrol flew past at that second and forwarded it to you?

And no, this is related to your Faction. As this is about your Faction Leader posting in your Faction Message Dump.

Now Maximo Valeri, a character of mine spotted .:J:. Soultrader shipping slaves, a few minutes after I reported this to the LN Message Dump.

Again, posting like he was assuming someone had caught Soultrader. Even though the Liberty Government had taken no actions thus far.

Wait a minute, you are going to tell me that a Liberty Navy Officer told a Junker in some shady bar somewhere just about this incident, and he told his friend who then told his dog, who then barked in a specific set of tones which was caught by a machine and then transformed to a message sent directly to Hawk's character informing him about the situation.

No?

Maybe you would now hurry up and go link about the fact that Maximo Valeri posted the same evidence on that Sirius Wide Communications Channel. Ah good argument, you just forgot one part. Hawk posted that message dump an entire day before that was even run to the public.

Your character is not omnipotent, he doesn't know about information stored in military channels or direct messages to parties you have no connections to.

Feedback threads are:

-Places where you can provide constructive(Key word being constructive) ideas and suggestions that you believe will benefit the faction in question.

Feedback threads are NOT:

-places to complain about an incident with a member or members of the faction that you didn't like. That is what Skype and PMs are for.
-places to go "Hey, I like this faction. They're cool." or "I loved our interaction today". That's what the Kudos thread is for.
-places to make commentary on other peoples' feedback. That is what... You know what? That has no place. Don't do it.
-places to further a private agenda intended to try and smear a faction's name in the mud or similar hateful motives. If you're doing this, GET OUT.

When you walked into the [LN] Feedback complaining about Maximo Valeri's behaviour, should I have retorted and said that you shouldn't post in the given thread? Since it was just about me and not the Faction?

Junker train getting caught with slaves, Hawk metagaming in congress message dump

Liberty Navy ships do not have cloaking devices. A Junker Congressman saw you on the lanes, and then later a separate Junker Congressman posted something in our message dump, addressed to all Junker Congressmen, that one of ours had been caught, and it was very bad.

It's part of our roleplaying to assume the worst in every situation. And quite frankly, we've been justified in that many a time

I fail to see any metagaming that has taken place here.
