' Wrote:There is no need for roleplay justification. They are humans infected by nomads. They hate humans, and want to kill them. That's their RP. In fact, if we ARE people that are bound to play by RP, they wouldn't even need to say ***human..tresspass..die***. They could just shoot them silently.
But they don't. They try to RP with people, and if the people go "OMG WILDE HLP!", they WILL get shot down.
You clearly know how Wilde should RP by this example. I wonder, are you in the faction? According to your lack of understanding I would say yes, but somehow I highly doubt that because of the other side of the "lack of understanding" coin, y'know. Standards an' all.
They clearly dont try to RP with people from the screenshots presented here, they are out to do their own thing not keeping anything else in mind, and I have no problem with that. But if you go out and do that, being the "ohh look at me Im special" faction that you are, you would do well to remember one thing: You arent above the rules, nor are you above the expectations that were put upon you when you received the "ohh look at me Im special" ID. So all in all Malenka, if you're trying to participate in this debate to mask your trolling, I suggest you come up with something that doesnt look really stupid. Since so far you've been, well, y'know... I'll let you figure that one out.
Like I said before, you want to swarm Scorpions? Fine by me. But when you do that at least try to deliver a positive RP/game experience. Since you act like you are on top of the high "RP horse", why dont you show that ingame for once?
The drama is not about the Wild Scorpions (by the way, they were the ones to retreat yesterday too and I didn't die). The Wild ID has been invented exactly to prevent lolwuts from shooting at everything that moves with dozens of Scorpions after two words of role play. And here I am asking why that does not apply in actuality? They simply call me brainless. This faction is full of people who believe they are above the rules. Read back in the feedback topic, not once you will see that they simply shot down a miner / trader with no more than a "die human" outburst. Considering that, I have no respect left for the Wild faction.
It is very amusing to see you degrade yourself to trolling your own feedback thread just because you cant come up with a rational answer to a matter (that still hasnt been answered) that has a lot to do with your RP/behavior ingame. But then again, since your leader likes to call people brainless, who could expect more?
Why is everything labeled as Q_Q'ing instantly? It's not about that at all. It's about the fact that they shot at someone, with insufficient role-play, then discarded all complaints, and even called the guy brainless. But I guess that's hard for you to understand. Maybe you should tell us about your Barghest skills.

What Barghest skills? I haven't flown one in months. Hell, haven't flown anything in a while.
The roleplay they presented was more than sufficient for the incident in question. The issues were dealt with several pages back, and all this current discussion is serving to do is make people posting flames here look retarded.

You say it's sufficient, a bunch of us claim it ain't. But I wonder, though, who died and made "Engaging" an okay engagement notice. Sure you wrapped it into a fancy Nomad one liner, but it's still just that, a one liner. Those two sentences that followed were said by two different members, who all just confirmed they're attacking. That's not three sentences of role-play, it's three sentences that say engaging. And let me find you a nice little quote:
Quote:5.2 All attacks must be the result of some form of role play. "Engaging" is not sufficient. An attack is any hostile action that drains shields to less than 50%. Being hit with a CD is not considered an attack. If a player is attacked he has a right to defend himself regardless of who is attacking.
I too noticed something that really irks me in the behavior pattern of Wild players, very well reflected in this current situation.
You dismissed most of the complaints brought up against you as mere q__q same way you dismiss the opinion of anyone who does not agree with your ideas of role play. The problem is, once the role play of someone affects negatively the mood of not only one person, but whole player groups and even a considerable chunk of the server, you really should consider the fact that they may not necessarily be wrong.
When you attack a transport with a bunch of scorpions, do think of the fact that the guy being attacked may not actually consider that scenario 'fun'. Yes, your role play is also to cause terror and fear, but it still is a game and when the said emotions are sparked out of the game over and over again, perhaps an amendment to your principles would be in order. See, hugging a battleship during a combat situation or shield running in 1v1 would be good 'role play' or an efficient 'tactic' as well, but since you don't fight to win, but to make the fight enjoyable, there's a certain level of common courtesy that everyone should apply and show sympathy towards the other player.
Again, since this is not a clan game like counter strike and it's not all about winning in pvp or being better than others in any ground of the game, please do bother with listening to the opinions of players and try to make the game fun for them, as much as it is fun for yourselves. Calling people making feedback whiners, brainless and entirely dismissing their points is a really poor attitude, of course people will be less keen on playing along with your in-game role play and will be resorting to ganking or shooting with little role play.
Finally, just because your enemy may be calling for backup (which I'd like to note, you cannot prove, just suspect), it does not in any way mean that he's going to give you an unfair fight.
Role play, but make sure your role play also incorporates the notions of OORP respect for other players playing this game.
Hey, it might be fun for you, but what about the defenseless transport who has no way to defend himself?
Dude, common couetesy. Do you honestly think anyone likes to,have two WTFGBs and a WTFBomber WTFGank their transport?
Tell me, has the Wilde ever read Rule 0.0?
Best go read it again.
We are here to have fun. You wanna go show off your l33t and pwning skills? Go boot up an Xbox and play some Halo Reach or Blacks Ops. There, you don't even need to say anything.
Now, why doesn't everyone take a chill pill.
And really. It is a sanctionable offense to call someone brainless. This isnt RP. Its feedback. You are not above the, rules or better than anyone. And labeling it all as Q_Q?
Honestly. I can find better roleplay in New York from n00bs than what I'm seeing from this invite-only officsl faction.
