Brother Juan,

Funny you should mention about the Nayehiya. I have been watching them with interest for some time, and there plight is much as you say. Their people are starving and suffer every deprivation at the hands of hated Liberty and their cronies. It is true [N] have counted themselves among our enemies in the past, but I always felt it was out of dire necessity on their part.

Let it be known I fully support any talks with these peoples in future. Let us hope we can form a bridge... and if an alliance is out of the question, due to various circumstances, then at least tolerance and some arrangement to the benefit of all.

I've just heard reports that my pilots were attacked by a mercenary in a Rheinland Battleship in Gamma today.

Now, this isn't what bothers me, since we gladly defend Gamma from such threats... however, there were eight LDDLG ships in system who allowed its presence and didn't lift a finger to defend Crete. My troops lost fighters in taking the beast down, and they sat and did nothing, in spite of being warned of its presence. Warned three times.

Now, this is having an effect on my pilots. They aren't local to Crete and feel that many of we Corsairs are taking advantage of them. The laziness of the LDDLG sickens me. They refuse to defend Crete from a massive threat whilst flying around in numerous gunboats and fighters.

This is why we, in the SCRA, don't like these Cardamine-junky scumbags.

I can see exactly why you feel that what the LDDLG did in the circumstance you describe was unfair. I can also see myself thinking it was unfair if I was there, and would have likely 'requested' that they assist you.

However. And its a big however. We as the Brotherhood only want peace between the corsair factions. If you wish not to help each other, it isn't up to us to force you to. This goes for both the LDDLG and the SCRA. All we ask is that you do not shoot each other. We do not set boundaries forcing you to actively help each other, even in the defense of Gamma.

Contrary to this though, we do expect at least some common sense from those that inhabit Gamma and keep it safe from intruders. However, the line where this can be drawn is hazy at best, and invisible at worst. A line in the sand is not solid, and can be washed away by a single wave.

I am sure the LDDLG would defend Crete from attack, as they were training above it. I think the problem lies in them not attempting to defend you. It is legitimate on their part, whether you or I like it or not. It is most unfortunate though, as it shows that only both sides respect to the wishes of the Brotherhood is keeping you two from tearing each other to pieces...

Understand, it is a lot harder to deal with group's lack of action, than to deal with those groups actions themselves. This is because, technically, they did nothing wrong, as they conducted no actions. I cannot stop a mutual hatred between your two factions, but I will stop violence.

Your complaints put me in a very odd place Ares. I would appreciate it a lot if you could contain the anger that runs through the blood of all Corsairs, including myself. I have to be learned in diplomacy, even though it is against the Brotherhood's philosophy, because of all these petty quarrels in Gamma. The Elders have had to contain the situation in Gamma many times from civil war. Every complaint that reaches our ears makes our containment slightly less powerful. At this rate it is only a matter of time before it erupts through Gamma. This is undesirable, as I am sure you are aware. If you must hate each other, do not mix with each other. And always treat your brothers with respect, even if they do not return the favour.

End Transmission.

This is not about responding to our distress calls. We were victorious. This is about Corsairs that rely on foreigners to protect their home and don't even show enough gratitude to offer aid.

But... very well, I shall give those lazy, fat LDDLG scumbags the respect that they deserve as fellow Corsairs...

I do believe that in ancient times, the punishment from pirates for such behaviour was called 'keelhauling'.

I hope you don't talk to everyone you dislike in such a vulgar manner Ares.

And, in ancient times many moons ago, I doubt all the Corsairs worked under one or a few leaders who worked together, united in their fronts against the enemy. In fact, I doubt the Corsairs of old even had any resemblance to what we do now, which is to try to feed our people.

But, I am glad that you have conceded, friend. Treat them as humans, not dogs, and they may decide to help you in the future.

I'm afraid that my irony was lost on you, my friend.

The issue is that my pilots, who aren't even Corsairs, don't want their help. However, it is only right for Corsairs to make an effort to defend space which they claim as their own instead of scratching themselves or playing with the Outcast weaponry that they apparently 'looted'.

The SCRA are in Gamma to help the Corsairs defend it. We aren't here to do it all ourselves, especially when many of our forces are split, much like your own.

I thank you Montoya for having exposed our point of view with as much perspicacity.

I can with difficulty force my pilots to carry help to the SCRA because of their acts and of their current behavior.

Ares, you can treat us like dogs, but as long as you'll do it we'll behave like such.

The vessel that you fought named TOSHIRO, he was untagged. My pilots remained meadows of Crete in waiting of the exit of the combat. You destroyed him, in the other case we never would have let him approach Crete.

The UOG and the RHA have started for three days of the raids of great width towards Gamma. All my pilots are now occupied containing them and prohibiting them the access to Crete.

I don't await anything the SCRA, and you don't have anything to await us, as long as you will treat us like dogs.

Your opinion on my faction and my pilots doesn't interest me. The only important opinion is that of our brothers corsairs. All your propaganda won't change anything.

Next time you hack a private conversation between friends, have the sense not to inform them afterwards.

You aren't doing yourself any favours and are making yourself look more suspicious by the second. An untagged Rheinland Battleship *is* a threat when in Corsair space, fool.

And, LDDLG, I am a Corsair. Remember that.

Montoya, I've sent this to you as well, maybe now you can see why I have no patience for these sneaky pieces of dirt. I don't appreciate being spied upon.

Thank you for the "idiot" and the "fool", I like your so "poetic" vocabulary. On Cadiz, we have a proverb : "the insult is the argument of weak of spirit". It seems that radiations of Omega 41 roasted you some neurons.
Your provocations made me laugh until there, now they weary me.

First of all, I'll say this. Your squabblings, especially in THIS MESSAGE DUMP are really beginning to tick me off. But, it should never have started in the first place.

Never hack our communications again, please. Otherwise it will force it to be neglected, as all communication will be done personally. We have other communication apparatus, it just takes time to set up. Besides, I must ask. How do you know the codes for private communication between Elders?

I have forgotten why this argument started in the first place.

Both of you are acting as children, scratching at each other's faces hoping I will pick one of you up and give you a hand. Not gonna happen.

Tell you what: Act maturely, as Corsairs would act. Help each other, however much you dislike each other, when protecting the interests of the Corsairs. There are no questions to ask, just do it. This goes for both sides.

My tactfulness is beginning to slip, therefore I will say no more. Your petty squabbles weary me. I must have some rest if either of you continue to push the case.
