****INCOMING TRANSMISSION****

COMM ID: [color=#99FFFF]Fleet Admiral David Hale
TARGET ID: Galen Anderson, CC: All Liberty Navy personel
SUBJECT: Admiral Anderson's retirement
ENCRYPTION: Low
PRIORITY: Medium

A videofeed from David Hale's office at Fort Bragg, Planet Manhattan fades up, showing the Fleet Admiral standing infront of his desk.

Ladies and gentlemen of the Navy, I just wanted to say a few words about my friend and colleage Galen Anderson.

Admiral Anderson's service to this nation goes far beyond that which is ever expected of anyone. His dedication, commitment, loyalty and patience have served as an example for everyone, from our newest recruits, to myself. His actions and leadership have given far more to this nation than has been seen in many years.

He pauses and smiles.

I've personally served with Galen Anderson for many years. I have memories of myself, at the time ranked Captain, flying patrols with Anderson around New York and the core systems in peacetime. A different era, doubtless. Admiral John Talon, my direct predecessor was heading up the navy at the time. As young mid-command officiers we cut our teeth with operations during the California clearances, and smaller skirmishes against threats such as the Phantoms.

During that time Anderson not only gained my respect as a navy officer, but also as a friend.

Hale looks down for a second, then looks back to the camera.

So, Galen... I wanted to personally, and publicly, thank you for your time in the navy. You've served as a steadying hand in the high command structure, and have taken a lot of weight off not only my shoulders, but also those of Christina Robinson, Jack Malrone, and while they were still serving, Ryan MacTavish and Sarah Willows. I cannot thank you enough.

On behalf of The House of Liberty, and the Liberty Navy, we salute you.

The Fleet Admiral gives a formal salute and the video fades to black.

CommID: Jason Price
Subject: Samura mischief

I picked up the Guardian that was assigned to me from Manhattan today, after doing all the pre flight checks the techs demanded I set out to move to my assigned post. As I left orbit I noticed a Samura transport talking on open comm channels. He claimed to be bearing a gift from Kusari, he then dumped his entire hold of toxic waste into Manhattan's orbit. At this time my Guardian's comm array went out so I lost all comm traffic. I watched the vessel as it went to head to the trade lane to Baltimore Shipyard, for reasons I am not sure of due to the comm array issue the Navy in the area opened fire on the transport. My comm array came online as the first few shots were fired however and the Kusarian was complaining that the Navy were being rude and that he would inform the Emperor himself about their actions. He then moored his vessel to Trenton Outpost, I'm not sure why docking control on Trenton allowed this but it happened. I am attaching footage I took of the event. It is my belief that this Kusarian was merely trying to cause trouble between Liberty and Kusari.

Attachments: ^ ^ ^

I proceeded to Alaska as ordered and encountered a transport coming from the direction the Minor jump hole is located. I was unable to prevent his escape due to a few Order patrols overwhelming me, I was forced to retreat to Kodiak Research Station. I've attached footage from that encounter also. I can only assume the Order were assisting him as he ran silent and the Order immediately assaulted me when I tried to question him.

Subject: Urgent Matter
Usually I wouldn't bother you with the boring stuff that happens during my patrols. Although half the time I'm not on my own. However. Today was an exception.

After being parked at my post at Manhatten, I had givern away many of my nanobots to a trader who needed them and decided to head back to Norfolk for a re-supply.

As I passed Baltamore Shipyard I Heard a transmission from the LNS-Europa telling me to 'Stop running'. Which was strange to say the least. After arriving at Norfolk I engaged docking sequence and as the sequence ended I got a transmission, again from LNS-Europa saying 'DO NOT DOCK!!'. Again rather confuseing.

After undocking he questioned my loyalty. Asking me who I work for. Still odd. Shortly after responding I was engaged by the LNS-Europa and eventually I had to abandon ship. Thankfully everyone managed to get to the pods before the reactor went.

I have never been a fan of taking out fellow LNS vessles, Whether they started it or not. The simple fact this guy and his crew have clearly lost thier minds and seem to think that its a good idea to engage other LN ships.

I strongly advise you destroy or dissable this vessle as quickly as possible. He is rather well armed and may try to use the element of surprise. Certainly caught me out ...

Subject - LNS Redlands Operational Report

It would appear that the Europa has in fact gone rogue. While hunting for a reported pirate vessel in the California system with the assistance of a number of bounty hunters, The Redlands encountered the Europa in orbit above Planet Los Angeles. The Europa then proceeded to block trade lane access to our ships and repeatedly asked "Who we worked for." Much to my surprise, The Europa then suddenly opened fire on the Redlands. After a quick engagement, the Redlands was crippled by the Battlecruiser's superior firepower. My crew suffered only moderate casualties and a rescue/recovery effort from Battleship Yukon allowed us to be towed back to Norfolk for repairs.

Video footage of the incident was damaged/lost in the attack, however our communication logs are intact. I have included them along with this report.

Addendum

In regards to Lieutenant-Commander Xenrus O'Dunne's report about the possible Liberty Navy Rogue vessel known as LNR|LNS-Europa, spotted this ship outside Norfolk Shipyard. I asked questions in regards to why he shot down the LNS-Redlands and why the Captain declared himself to be a renegade over system-wide communications in the New York system. The explanation was odd and not so credible, ordered the Captain of the ship to remain dry-docked until Admiralty takes further actions. Communications logs submitted below.

Quote:[13.02.2011 06:15:49] LNS-Redlands: Rogue Liberty Battlecruiser "Europa" spotted heading toward Zone 21
[13.02.2011 06:16:25] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: WTF! I AM NOT A ROGUE!I AM A RENEGATE!
[13.02.2011 06:17:21] LNS-Redlands: meaning you've gone "rogue". as in AWOL.
[13.02.2011 06:17:58] LNS-Redlands: attacking former comrades....that's worse than piracy!

Quote:[13.02.2011 07:09:38] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Why hasn't the Europa been fired upon?
[13.02.2011 07:10:23] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Don't escape.
[13.02.2011 07:10:28] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Hold on.
[13.02.2011 07:10:39] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: If you are part of the LNS, why did you destroy a ship in Colorado recently?
[13.02.2011 07:10:44] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: I saw that myself.
[13.02.2011 07:10:44] Yorktown: are you ordering me to fire LN?
[13.02.2011 07:10:51] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Standby for now Yorktown.
[13.02.2011 07:10:57] Yorktown: roger
[13.02.2011 07:11:01] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Explain yourself Captain.
[13.02.2011 07:11:25] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: I'm asking you a simple question.
[13.02.2011 07:11:30] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Why did you destroy a LNS ship in Colorado.
[13.02.2011 07:11:45] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: You even shouted moments ago that you are a renegade of the Navy.
[13.02.2011 07:11:49] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: Well i missfunction of AI and communication
[13.02.2011 07:12:06] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Ah, and how do you explain your rebellious statements over system comms in New York?
[13.02.2011 07:12:15] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Thirdly, what the hell were you doing in the Badlands?
[13.02.2011 07:12:26] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Did the AI also mess up things for you?
[13.02.2011 07:12:31] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: yes sir...ann hunting some LR
[13.02.2011 07:12:33] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: In all of those occasions as well?
[13.02.2011 07:12:37] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Oh hunting an LR I see now.
[13.02.2011 07:12:50] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: a LR destroyer
[13.02.2011 07:12:55] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Hunting a LR, in a dense asteroid field with a Battle-cruiser.
[13.02.2011 07:13:23] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: sir it was my AI that was out of controll
[13.02.2011 07:13:30] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Well then, then it's simple.
[13.02.2011 07:13:42] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: You remain dry-docked on Norfolk Shipyard, or I assume you are a threat to our space.
[13.02.2011 07:13:48] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: And will order these Captains to open fire on you.
[13.02.2011 07:13:58] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: whoooaaa!
[13.02.2011 07:14:05] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Yeah. Woooaaaah.
[13.02.2011 07:14:15] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: So tell me, what is your next move?
[13.02.2011 07:14:20] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: WHY=????
[13.02.2011 07:14:27] LNR|LNS-Europa: Baker: Stand down
[13.02.2011 07:14:44] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: You just admitted yourself your AI is out of control, declaring yourself a Renegade, and shooting LNS ships on sight.
[13.02.2011 07:14:54] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Now if that is truly the case, and you are not ordering anything.
[13.02.2011 07:15:00] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Then you are to remain dry-docked on Norfolk Shipyard.
[13.02.2011 07:15:06] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Do so, now. Or we will declare you a threat.
[13.02.2011 07:15:19] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: You got two minutes to reach those docks and stay there.
[13.02.2011 07:16:03] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: I should have you know, that if I find you in space, without higher command giving you that clearance
[13.02.2011 07:16:07] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Meaning anyone above the rank of Captain.
[13.02.2011 07:16:15] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: You will be in direct violation
[13.02.2011 07:16:20] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Of my orders.
[13.02.2011 07:16:50] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: And if you are found shooting LNS vessels one more time, your "chances" are gone.
[13.02.2011 07:18:04] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: Anyways, your orders are clear Europa. I hope I don't have to deal with your LNS attacks again.
[13.02.2011 07:18:13] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: These other Captains won't show you a second chance of mercy.
[13.02.2011 07:18:23] [LN]-Leonardo.Zelinsky: And I heard the Yorktown is one hell of a Dreadnought.

Evening there, ladies and gentlemen. Sub Lieutenant Raven reporting. As usual, I've made a few hours of overtime today, started rather soon with a shift, and made a few more as the day progresses.

I started the first shift alone, in the morning. Liberty core systems were rather quiet. There was only one incident that is worth to mention. I was about to check California, but there were two ships of the Cartel shooting at a secondary fleet Navy pilot. They didn't agree to cease the fire and return to their rocks, so I opened fire on one. After a little chase I was able to take one of them down, the other one ran away as soon as his buddy burned.

The next shift I made was around afternoon. Nothing too significant aswell, except two pirates that cut my lane from the New York gate, to Riverside and Mojave in California. They opened fire on me as soon as they saw me for some reason, so I returned it. There were four of them, two shooting at me at this time, two others watching. I was able to take both out, the other two got away.

Later on the shift I've met up with Lieutenant Ashfield for patrol. It seemed rather quiet in Liberty once again, until we returned from our Patrol through California (Once more). We've encountered an Outcast Gunship there, obviously pirating. Since it didn't listen to any orders, and eventually was even about to enter New York, we opened fire. With Ashfields help I've successfully taken down the threat and moved on.

Lieutenant Ashfield and I continued our patrol, through New York. Ensign Eaton joined us later on as well. It seemed rather quiet once again until Eaton and I encountered another Tridente Gunship on the lane from Norfolk to the Texas Jump Gate. A Liberty Navy secondary fleet pilot was already there aswell. I've called Lieutenant Ashfield to support us, too, since Ensign Eaton is rather unexperienced, and I didn't know how experienced the secondary fleet pilot was, but he said he was already under fire. However, I didn't want the Gunship to get away, so I've ordered to engage it. The gunship pilot was rather experienced, and not quite easy to get down. The secondary fleet pilot pulled out as soon as things got hot, which was rather crucial for our chances of success. Ensign Eaton got shot down a while later, but unharmed. I was able to keep the gunship busy until Ashfield arrived, but we weren't able to take it down before he damaged our ships rather hard. We were able to shoot a few holes up his strong armour plates though. The callsign of the Tridente is Bose, in case someone encounters it again, treat it with high caution.

That was it for this day, Sub Lieutenant Raven signing off.

Good evening once again, Ladies and Gentlemen. Sub Lieutenant Raven here for a short patrol report.

I've just been finishing my patrol through California as I've encountered two Liberty Rogues on the lane from Mojave to the New York Jumpgate, obviously pirating. They were both piloting a Barghest-type Heavy bomber vessels.

They were just about to open fire on the trader, I've reacted and opened fire aswell, trying my best to get them down before the traders hull is nullified. Unfortunately, those Barghests have a damn thick armour plating, so it took me a while to get them down. I couldn't take them down quick enough, the trader was destroyed, but I was able to destroy the Rogue ships a few moments later.

Just a few seconds later, at the New York Jumpgate, a LPI officer Anabis and Lueutenant Ross joined me, as a Rogue Scylla Destroyer appeared. The Destroyer was quite a tough nut to crack, but by staying behind it, and using out superior numer and agility, we were able to take it down eventually.

That's about it, Raven signing off.
