Simply put, on a routine patrol, I was caught off guard by several of the "Reaver" mercenaries. They had somehow penetrated past our initial defenses, and came within several klicks of Malta orbit.
I tried to evade them, and fight back. However, I found myself overwhelmed by their combined firepower. I retreated back to the Loyalist before I was torn apart.
As they say, it's better to live to fight another day, than die out of ignorance.
As of today, new defensive countermeasures will be placed around the heart of the Nation in order to protect it from vessels with the capability to cloak... such as the famed "Osiris" light battleship currently used by the Order and all of their minions... These countermeasures have been developed by myself in conjunction with our northern allies and are rather simple in their function... apparently the cloaking devices can quite easily be overloaded when exposed to a directed graviton blast in conjunction with a certain type of EM emission which I have been studying as of late. To put things bluntly: A swarm of nano-technological mines are currently being deployed into our space and they are all equipped with the countermeasures I mentioned before.
I would also like to point out that despite of our best of efforts we have still been unable to detect the Havana, since the coward who sits so comfortably inside of it has chosen to hide in the borderland that is Omicron Eta... I'm quite sure that the ineptitude of the Corsair brutes there will allow him to escape, but it's only a matter of time before he braves Alpha once more and then... then I'm quite sure that we will have something to celebrate.
I would like to inform you all that I've began to probe the Gallic defenses which lies on the other side of Omicron 80... and I believe that I have found a small sliver in their armour. We won't move yet, no the time isn't right... I am merely telling you all this because I believe it will make your feelings towards the supposed "impenetrable" Gallic defenses into that of humor rather than drama.
Oh, and Mr Moretti has been promoted due to the fact that he was able to patch together the Orchid granted to him with naught but the knowledge inside of his head... I would not have been amused if I had been forced to strike another deal with the GC in order to secure another one.

as a respond to the message of senor Twisp: reapers hunt in packs, NEVER engage them when they outnumber you, they seem to have grown quiet skilled in the "art" of fighting 4-5 to 1, if you want to take out a reaper challenge it a bit, let it chase you to a safer place to fight (near allied forces grounds or system edges) and than finish it off (shouldnt be a problem, they hardly pose a threat alone).
why im actually posting on the neural net in this secured channel: seeing as the brightest minds of the maltese navy are on this channel i would like to present a mind-breaking problem to them (atleast for me): lets suppose your cruising bretonia after killing a corsair gunboat, you suddenly get a vision (sent by a spirit) where you see him fighting some BAF's and him losing, call it a cry for help if ya will, what would be the right thing to do? ignore it? help him? destroy him? due to my reputation as a corsair hunter down there i was able to convince the BAF to let the keeper go, but what should i do if the fight goes on next time?

On another note: Antonio Devivar, you are expected to scout the Omegas within the week in order to secure information on the Corsair scourge down there, as well as the members of the communist factions. Be sure not to forget about it, hmm? It would have dire consequences.
While dealing with a rather large spurt of discord amongst our Secondary Fleet, an unfamiliar transponder signature appeared . Upon closer inspection, I found that it was apparently a Freelancer's bomber craft. When I inquired about his intent within the system, he claimed that he was mapping out Alpha.
Naturally, I was concerned.
When I asked of his origin, he quite bluntly stated that he was Libertonian. Fearing that he could be under charter of one of our many enemies within that House, I asked for him to provide solid proof that his allegiances were not in conflict with the Maltese Nation. He could produce no such affirmation
Under threat of lethal action, I advised him to link up with our so-called "Bounty Board", to prove to us that he was willing to assist us, under which circumstances I believe we could trust him with cursory data on Alpha.
If he fails to take it upon himself to assist us, or does not otherwise provide proof that he can be trusted to some extent...well, upon my next encounter with him, I will make sure that his collected data is lost. For good.

You know I don't like this. All this publicy on the reported works. As some regular soldier. Blah. But since you asked..
Making my way to omegas via kusari I encountered a raba transport. I though, it's a good chance to show to those pests who pulls the strings now. And that there is no longer some old fart Shepardi backing them against me. For all their arrogance...
But soon that bastardo was backed by one blach dragon VHF. Minutes after even second one came. The fight was intense. One of the fighters had to take repair bots from the transport. Knowing this started to concentrate my fire on the big one. The target I was all after from very start. Propably being scared of loosing his cargo he fled.
Alltough I had one less matter to take care of, two black dragons annoyances tried to prove themselves worthy. Futile. Those traders stand no chance against a hispanian warrior.
I'll report then I'll get into omegas. For now my ship returned to Ainu depot. Repairs are necessery to proceed the jurney to distant omegas.

I have some news, part of them good, some of them not.
I shall start from a good.
Our forces managed to defend Malta and breack RoS attack two times. In firts attack, we had some loses, and lack of fighters. RoS got 5-6 fighters in assaul groupe. We managed to defit them, but with some loses.
In second atack, RoS took one Dreadnought and one Sarisa Battleship and few fighters. But we were prepared for this fight. In fact, we lost only one ship, destroyed by it's owen mine. Pilot got requed.
Next information very sad. We lost large battle in Alpha system. Corsair bring lots of capital ships there. 4-5 Osirises, 2 or 3 of them had out-fighter settup, and few dreadnoughts. From then other side, CR ship joined attacking forces. We had chances to win, if only we had equeal number of capital ships. I was strongly recomended to use fighter, not capital ship.
Its quet hard to accept, but strategy of 101st officers was ineffective.
They ordered capital ships to stand down, and let fighter deal with attacking forces. That was the first mistake. Idea, to meet them at Ibiza base, wasnt bad, but corsairs fleet took their way directly to Malta.
We got orders to engage Osirises. Corsairs reached Malta allmost without problems. Thouse few dreadnoughts were destroyed by rain of mortairs... Strategy, to avoid fight near Malta failed, plan to swarm canibal fleet with fighter failed...
Me and other Maltians hopes, that this thing will newer happens again. A big pleas to autorities take care about it. Dont make us suffering again.
recently i was in a battle in alpha and saw reapers merc.corp against outcasts...
and our guard NPC pilots dont shoot on them? they neutral with outcast? so
some from high command should do something about that and make them hostile to outcast...
