Work in teams. QCP overcome transports relatively easily.
whats QCP?
and working in a team is nice, but not possible for me (my SSO mates never on together, we are small).
i thought of maybe leaving and join some house group, but still its shouldnt be like that.
battleship should be threatened by 6 fighters lets say, not being durable from them completely.
transporters surely need to take damage, even by 1. (and the big ones, like prison liners, should be scared enough from 2-3 very heavy fighters).
I agree, maybe a price increase (not that much, though)... just because you fly a capship, doesn't mean you're unbeatable... good pilots gets the job done.

PS*Joe012, told you...:P
can you take with one manta a large train transporter?
how about a cruiser kind of ship?
The problem isn't as much gunboats as it is the larger capships. I'd never fly anything larger than a gunboat. I once flew a Liberty cruiser, but the turning rate almost made me prey for a single Rogue GB. They're just big, easy targets.
HA! Ha ha... Ha... Wait... Did I laugh out loud or was that on the inside? Remove BS's? Please... I really don't think Igiss (or whomever, I'm not really familiar with who does that sort of work on the team) would have spent countless hours creating the models, programming, and all that happy-hooplah then turn around and say, "Gee, this is awfully unbalanced... Time to kill all of my work from the past eight months!"
Like I said, kill the armor upgrades. A nice nut-shelled solution is as follows.
-Kill Armor upgrades.
-No *rediculous* [reconsidered termonology for rediculous] strong 400K shields (1.75 million armor is hard enough) If we keep shields, tone them down; but really, its not fair that player-caps can have shields while their NPC counterpart are getting pwned [also reconsidered pwned] by some noob who just found out what a Nova is.
-Keep the prices the same, but kill Tau (No more money, no more BS abuse! WOW!... Novel, I know)... 1 billion for a ship? Come now, the corruption-cap is 1.9 billion... That could be dangerous for the absent minded.
-Another one that I forgot.
Well, I think I just single-handedly solved this problem... That was a joke... HA! Arrogance... Funny when sarcastic... Oookay... Righto. Wow, tough crowd. Okay, that's all for now, kiddies. Bye bye. I await the next post with bated anticipation.
