What do you think Disco was before the mining mod? It existed for five whole years before mining.

The mining mod was one of the better parts of the mod/server.

Removing it will only spread the idiocy about, and will do nothing to get rid of it. If you want to spread the idiocy out, and make it less concentrated, might I suggest creating more mining spots, just as profitable as o7/t23, so that there is more than 2 places to mine. As if the nubs are spread accross several different mining spots, the level of integration with more experienced players will be higher, and as such the level of idiocy will be lower.

You just dont understand how much I loved that mining mod. It offered freedom from the doldrums of trading.. God how I dislike trading. Without this.. I only have two ways of making cash: Piracy, and trading. Piracy sounds a lot more fun.. but any more pirates on disco and the poor server will melt: traders will stop trading cause they loose more cash then they make.

Meh.

I just hope mining is brought back in due time.
