1. Organization and ZoI

general information:

Full Guild Name: Patrons of the Yoshiwara Monastery
TAG: [PYM]
IDs: Kusari Naval Forces / Kusari Naval Forces Guard
History: Go To

zone of Influence:
  • Honshu
  • New-Tokyo
  • Shikoku
  • Kyushu
  • Tau-29
  • Tau-31
  • Leeds
There will be a Guardian as steward of our forces in each of these systems.
More details in chapter II-Guardian and chapter III-Guardians and Champions.

2. Ranks

There are five ranks within the Yoshiwara. Each rank brings various rights and duties with it.

Associate: Once someone is accepted to join the ranks of the Yoshiwara, he/she will become associate and is henceforth a full member of the monastery. As such the associate has the right to participate in internal meetings and may raise his/her voice in the internal communication systems. The duties of an associate will be all kind of support tasks.

Slayer: Through numerous different quests slayers have shown their loyality to the monastery many times. They have the right to call associates for help in their tasks. Their main duty is fighting. Slayers are the backbone of the Yoshiwara forces and the executive power.

Guardian: An experienced patron of the monastery will become a guardian. Guardians are responsible for one or more systems. They have to maintain the safety in their respective zones. Therefore they have the right to request additional slayers and associates for patrol or other tasks. They also may answer to public communication channels concerning their zones.

Champion: These brave patrons have earned their position in the monastery due to long and hard service. They have proven theirselves worthy to take a huge responsibility. Champions are the leaders of war. They get their orders directly from one of the shadows and will hunt the hostile forces through the whole realm.

Shadow: The leaders of the Yoshiwara. They are the captains of the mighty motherships and responsible for all kind of diplomatic affairs. They can promote or demote members through the ranks. They assign systems to the guardians and give tasks to the champions.

Note: The desired situation would be that all diplomatic talkings are done by the guardians whos systems are affected by it. Also the movement of our forces should be regulated by them to wherever the need is. Communication is very important. Shadows should only interfere if there is need to or for diplomatic affairs of greater scale like war declarations.

3. Code of Conduct

All patrons should be aware of the fact that they represent not only themselves but all Yoshiwara. A decent behaviour is indispensable.

A few points:
  • respect your enemy. No need to insult him/her.
  • do not yell anything after a kill in system channels. We are no kids.
  • if you catch a lawbreaker who is not an hostile to kusari, give him/her a chance to explain and therefore a chance of survival.
  • know your allies. If you see other lawful kusari forces in need, do not hesitate to aid them.
  • pirates like the GC or the BD are kusari too. They might have a different point of view but only kill them if it is absolutely necessary.
Guidelines:

We are part of the Naval Forces.
We defend our Kusari against the bretonians, against the aliens from the outer rims and against all other threats to it.
if you see a bretonian trader, demand him/her to drop all cargo and escort him/her out of kusari. If the trader does not comply, you will destroy him at once.

Guardians and Champions:

As it is complicated to keep track of all activities inside our ZoI, we simply split it in 7 smaller ZoIs and give the responsibilities to these areas to a few experienced members, called "Guardians". A guardian need to observe the criminal activity inside his/her sector and act on it. If more forces are needed in the system, the guardian can directly order associates/slayers to the area or can request this over our private comms in the holonet. A Guardian can also set certain rules for patrols and engaging in his/her sector.

Champions will be given a very clear task by a shadow. For example: group X is causing a lot of trouble in our territories lately. Get rid of them.
Champions' ZoI is the whole realm and they can order all available forces for help. While they are on their mission the group commanded by a Champion will not have to follow any rules set by the sector's guardian.
However if a champion has currently no task, he needs to respect the guardian's rules.

note: never forget that all rules set by guardians and their given sectors are only [PYM] internal regulations. We do not change any Kusari laws.

Communication:

Every member is allowed to post in our private comm channel.
But for public comm channels it is the following regulation:
  • only guardians may answer / open channels related to their system.
  • anyone may answer to the sender that the message was received and forwarded to the right person.
  • If the guardian in charge fails to answer in time a shadow will take care of this. However it would be better if he/she not fails to answer.

4. Yoshiwara Fleet

Our fleet allows all vessels build by the Kusari Naval Forces and Civilians.
available classes:

Shadow: is only allowed to fly Battleships.
