Jeremy lead his siblings to the wharf, where the Corvo sat on the waves. Jeremy climbed aboard his speedboat with the others.
The four held on as the boat headed to Destiny, where Demyx, the coward, was directing a robot attack. He turned as the boat stopped and gaped as the four Hunters got off. Seth stepped up.
"Demyx, stop the attack...the war is over. I was misled by the apprentices...its all my fault. Cease please."
Demyx sighed. "Thank you. Its not my thing, fighting. I perfer to rock out on my sitar." And with that Demyx turned and called off the robots. Jeremy did the same with the SPARTANS.
It was over. The most stupid war ever (soon eclipsed by others) was done.
Jeremy sat on the bent tree on the the small islet that was connected to the main island by a wooden bridge. Jeremy sighed as he watched as beautiful sunset. The astupid fight was over, and now he coud stop fighting.
Little did her know was that he would soon be forced to lift his blades again, and retuen to the cockpit of an Order fighter.
Jeremy moved away from the building, black cloak flapping in the wind. Izzy had mentioned she thought someone was following her. So what did Jeremy do?
He stalked her.
She was just leaving her job at a Video Game store (and that's a reason why he loved her. Jeremy was on a roof, still as could be. As she started to walk to her car, he saw the van.
He jumped, the special cloak slowing him down. That, plus his telekenisis, caused him to land silently, but running like a madman.
The van stopped by Izzy, opened the side door, and Izzy was gone.
Oathkeeper and Oblivion appeared from his cloaked, but it was futile.
Jeremy activated his jump-jet boots, hit a rooftop, then hit the magnets, and ran up a building. At the roof, he kept checking the location of Izzy's Wayfinder, and finally arrived at an abandoned warehouse.
"Damn irony." The warehouse was an old Hunter Combat Systems one. Jeremy redrew the Keyblades.
"The decent into Hell is east."
In the warehouse, Izzy struggled as hands groped her. She cursed, said words no kid should hear, and cried.
A noise was heard.
A familiar thunk .
Izzy started laughing. "You (rhymes with ducking glass mole)s are so-o screwed."
Before anyone could do anything, the door blew open, and in stepped a black cloaked figure.
The lead raper picked up a plank.
Whack.
Two more felt the metal.
The last one fainted amid the smell of urine. Jeremy released her, and pulled her into a hug.
"Oh Jeremy." She clutched him tightly
"Its ok, its ok shh Iz, I got you..."
Jeremy carried her the few miles to his house, where he took her directly to his rom. Laying her on his bed, he gently started to clean her few scrapes. She looked up into his eyes.
"Jeremy, how did you know."
"You said it yesterday.i acted."
Izzy suddenly pulled Jeremy close and kissed him. "Jeremy...i have to admit...I love you. I always have."
Jeremy loked back, then kissed her.
Izzy undressed him, and him, her.
-------------
Jetwmy strokwd Izzy's hair as she lay against his chest.
The door inched open, and Ellie poped her head, the giggled softly.
"About time. I'll tell everyone you're really tired."
Jeremy chuckled. "The secrets of twins."
"Why do you have to go Jeremy? With Ellie and Izzy gone, who will play with me?"
"Gwyn, Audrey, and Dana are still here."
"They arent you."
Jeremy chuckled and ruffled her hair. "Dont get so down. You gey to stay one Destiny."
Rika looked at him. "Jeremy...promise me you'll come back."
Jeremy kissed her forehead. "Oathkeeper."
Said Keyblade floated to him, followed by Oblivion. Jeremy stuck them on his back. He slung his bag over his shoulder and picked Rika up with his free arm.
"Come on. We gotta get to the island."
On Destiny, Jeremy opened up his personal hanger and entered. Seth was already there.
"I took the liberty of fixing her up. I even repainted the side."
Jeremy threw off the taro to reveal an Anubis fighter. Jeremy touched the side if the cockpit where, in red paint, was the words Rika's Shield. Jeremy opened the hatch and climbed in. the engines hummed to life. The comm crackled.
"Stay safe bro. Rika took the liberty of packing your lunch. Oh, and remember to stay out of sight."
"Thanks Seth. You also be careful."
"Like always."
The Anubis lifted off and headed skywards, and as it left Destiny behind, it began to rain, covering the flight of the Order fighter, as well as the Arrow fighter that followed.
ThE two ships exited the atmosphere with help from to HCS,dropships, them parted ways.
Later that day...
Jeremy landed the aged Anubis on Toledo, where a squad of marines ran up. Jeremy lifted his hands. "Woah, don't shoot. Tell Malacos Jeremy Hunter is back."
"Sius Malacos is gone. Nomad got him."
Jeremy clenched his hands. "Bastards. Im going to massacre them."
One of the marines stepped up. "You don't happen to be Alpha-2, part of Trents squadron, do you"
"The very same."
The marines saluted. Jeremy did them the courtesy of returning it.
"Im actually no longer Order. Not yet, anyways."
"No doubts you'll be promoted. We need all the help we can get. Oh, and why don't you stop by the ship master and get a new ship. Nephthys, upgraded Anubis."
"Thanks corprol."
"Anytime."
Jeremy walked to the ship master, who gave him his new fighter.
He then procceded to paint the name of the ship. Both of them.
Black Icarus.
Rika's Guardian.
Jeremy climbed aboard his new Nephthus and powered it up. The engines hummed as they powered on. Jeremy flipped on the weapons. His perfered weapon loadout was codenames. As the fighter left Toledo, Jeremy sighed.
Later on, after dozens of quick missions from the Isis (or, as the pilots called her, the Hand of God) he was assigndd a Sekhmet heavy bomber.
Of course, he manged to lose it. On Evora.
But, to be fair, he had stolen a Resheph Recon Cruiser.
Jeremy lay on his bed on Destiny, away from the Omicrons and the Bounty Hunter and Order war, the nomads, everything. He had taken a few days off after his patrols and a few fights.
As he lay on his side, the door creaked open. He knew it was Rika by the way the person walked. As he felt the pressure on the bed go down on the other side, he used his telekenisis to gently float her over him and to his side of the bed. She landed with a soft plop! and giggled softly.
"Hey,"
"Shouldnt you be asleep?"
"Jeremy... I had a bad dream."
Jeremy pulled her closer, gently putting her head onto his chest so he could kiss the top of her head. "Its ok Rika. I'm here. Its was just a dream, and in your dreams, its your imagination. Its YOUR power."
Rika smiled and snuggled closer. In a few moments he felt her breath on his neck as she fell asleep. He sighed as he heard more feet, and now Ellie came in. She slipped onto the bed and put her back to Jeremy, her shoulders to the small of her back touching.
"Couldnt sleep?"
Ellie sighed. "I wanted to say sorry...I really never did, considering what I did."
Jeremy reached back and patted her side. "I'm not holding any grudges. And I always will forgive you. Oh..." Jeremy cleared his throat. "Seth, might as well join us. We're all here."
THe twins looked over to see the dark-coated brother of thiers melt from the shadows. The coat went off. He stretched and slid in next to Ellie. He sighed.
"Ditto what Xion said."
Jeremy laughed quietly. "Ditto what I said."
The siblings all fell asleep, thier concienses cleared.
-------------------------
Rika woke up to find Ellie holding her, with a note on the nightstand.
Sorry kiddo, but duty calls. Stay strong with the others for me, ok? Love you.
-Jeremy
Jeremy sat on the empty bridge of the OCV Oathkeeper, his new Osiris. He went over the schematics of all seven decks.
Deck One: Command Deck: Houses the Bridge and RTI module.
Deck Two: Barracks; Also houses the science deck.
Deck Three: Houses the park, recreational areas (sports field, gaming room, library, etc)
Deck Four: Hanger Deck. Comprises of ten hangers; Hanger Seven and Nine set aside for Wedjat projects.
Deck Five: Comprising of the cargo hold and atmospheric aircraft. Backup bridge also located here.
Deck Six: Housing the power plant and specialised weapon hold. Also holds the HyperJump Core device.
Deck Seven: Motor pool; Also contains HoloMine launchers. Rest of the area is a special hanger for prototype ships.
Jeremy sighed.
"Well...everything I wanted. Looks like an extra RTI was available...cool. I knew it would fit where the stealth generator was..."
Jeremy took a swig of root beer. He got an Osiris. He had his Nephthys. He had, pretty much, recovered from the past months. Jeremy sighed as he toyed with a picture of Rika and Izzy, both hugging eachother and laughing at the camera. He telekinetically moved it through the air, as Namine and Xion moved the massive battleship to Minor, where his bridge crew and his best Marines would transfer, and leave Ellie and Seth in command. Well, Seth really. Ellie was keeping Hunter Combat Systems afloat. Already they had seventy percent of planet Los Angeles's civilian computer systems. And Ellie was the most buisness oriented Hunter.
Jeremy finished off his root beer as the mighty Oathkeeper entered the familiar system of Omicron Minor.
His second home.
Jeremy quietly slipped out of the nondescript freighter, which lifted off. Jeremy opened the door to facw his brother.
"Is the Midnight Roar ready"
"Yes."
Ellie walkes in. The three donned thier black cloaks, amd picked up thier Keyblades. Jeremy twisted, pops and craxkles heard as his back snap-crackle-popped.
"Let us fly."
---------------
The Midnight Roar found the Arkania near Sugarland, the irony killing the three.
With a barrage of codename and a mini razor, the Raven's Talon slid in.
The figures left and ran to the bridge.
Rachel was left with Ellie. The other two returned to the fighter and waited.
"No offense Izzy, but she was hot."
A sigh came from Izzy. Jeremy hacked the intercom and told Ellie to speed it up.
When Ellie returned, jeremy sighed.
"What material?"
"Leather."
Jeremy exited the Arkania and made for the rendevous in Kansas.
Jeremy threaded his way through Omicron 92, his Nephthys but a shadow in the nebula covered system. He silently jumped to Tohuku. Setting course for Hokkaido, Jeremy manually flew through Tohuku, keeping an eye on Tekagi's Arch. As he approached the jump hole, something in the back of his mind nagged him.
Jeremy powered his codenames. Two ARCHANGELs, one BLUE BLAZE, and one WILDFIRE powered up with two Improved Debillitator Mk IIs. His Nuclear Mine dropper booted.
Jeremy jumped.
Tau-31
Jeremy exited to find his nagging suspicion unconfirmed yet again as he entered Tau 31. Activating his thruster, he used impulse. Moving forward, he kept a sharp eye out. After awhile, he sighed. Hitting cruise, his engines powered up. As they approached 80%, his scanners picked up something.
Aborting cruise, Jeremy powered over to find a n Outcast Stilleto pounding on a lone Hawk light fighter. Glad his guns were on, Jeremy's guns opened up, taking down the shield and causing the pirate to turn. As the Outcast let loose a shot, Jeremy unleashed his Mini Razor. With it's shield down, the Stilleto disintegrated. Slowing to a stop near the Hawk, he opened a channel. The video snapped on to show a girl maybe a year his junior.
"You ok?"
"Y-Yeah...thanks..."
"What's your name?"
"Ikari...Ikari Rei."
"Ok Rei. I'm Jeremy. What are you doing here?"
"My...my dad was a KNF pilot... His wing was attazcked by...blue ships. I...was told it was the BAF but...i came here with this. Then that Pirate..." The girl began to cry. Jeremy sighed. "Can you follow me? I can get you to safety if we get out of these asteroids."
Edinborough
Jeremy led Rei to a clear spot in Edin.
"Just wait."
A few minutes crept by. Rei began to get twitchy. She kept eyeing the Nephthys, its distinctive Order design unnerving her.
Then a hyperspace window opened, depositing a battleship. Right beside the Order insignia, and the Eye of Horus, was the name of the ship, followed by its emblem.
Oathkeeper
"Come on Rei, its our ride."
Onboard
Rei sat in the bar, a glass of water untouched infront of her. Jeremy, Ellie, Izzy, Aqua, Lance, and Same were there, Jereny across from her, giving her her options. She finally spoke.
"Can I...join you?"
Jeremy paused. Then he grinned.
"Welcome to the Order Rei. Basic will start when we get you to Minor."
Jeremy sat on the bridge of the Oathkeeper, alone among the blinking consoles. It was quiet in Omicron-100. Rarely did anyone ever enter the Order's sanctum. He sighed as he orbited Braga.
"Namine, how's Seth doing on the Ghost Eye?"
Namine's hologram appeared. She gently lifted up her sketchbook.
"He and his XO, Alyson, have...taken a liking to one another."
Jeremy chuckled. "Leave it to Seth to sleep with the crew."
"Only Alyson. No one else."
Jeremy paused. Sighing, he pressed a button. A few minutes later, an Ensign delivered a glass of Root Beer. Taking a swig, he turned to Namine.
"Tell me. How is Izzy doing?"
"She is still trying to find evidence of the SCRA-Order relations while attempting to stay covert. Its hard, having the BNG attacking and trying to keep her identity a secret."
Jeremy sighs. "We need to get her hard evidence. Anyways, update on Axel?"
Namine looked at her sketchbook. "He's currently on Freeport 4, he had escorted a USI transport from Theta to there. Left it in the care of the BAF."
"Same as I woulda done." Jeremy drained half the root beer. "Anything else?"
"Your mother wrote in her diary a certain McDowell asked her on a date."
Jeremy sighed. "Greeeat...any more good news?"
"No." Namine's hologram disappeared.
Jeremy sighed. Draining his glass, he leaned back.
----------------------------
Onboard the Ghost Eye, Seth opened his eyes. Looking downm, he saw Alyson's head on his chest. Gently wrapping her in his arms, he looked over at the time. They had to get up.
Gently shaking her, he chuckled. "Wakey wakey Ally. Gotta wake. Time to work."
Alyson opened her eyes. Sitting up, she let the covers crumple around her waist. "Do we have to?"
Seth chuckled. Gently pulling her back down, he kissed her. "Now now. Lets not go showing your assets off."
Going AH! She gently slapped him.
Grinning, he tickled her. As she thrashed a bit, Seth, quick as a wink, grabbed the sheats and her clothing and locked himself in the bathroom.
Screaming, Alyson banged on the door. "Let me have those back!"
"no!"
"You'll make me try and get to my room without being seen?"
"Maybe..."
"Whats the catch?"
"Well..."
Alyson sighed. "Please?"
The door opened. Seth threw the articles on the bed. Grinning, he hugged her.
"Just messing with you. Take a shower; I'll fix this place up."
----------------------
Jeremy keyed open his cabin on the Oathkeeper. Hanging his jacket on the back of his chair, dropped his gun on the table, and dropped onto his bed. Putting his hands behind his head, Jeremy stared at the ceiling. It immedietly brightened to show a map of the Sirius sector, which then magnified to Liberty, then New York, then Manhattan, then his mother's Apartment.
There, sitting on the balcony, singing, was Rika.
Jeremy paused. He never liked her on that balcony anymore.
Taking a moment to deploy some operative that where on Manhattan, Jeremy closed his eyes and fell into a welcome sleep.
Jeremy felt something bad was about to happen. He poured a glass of Vodka, one of his last bottles of Coalition made. Damn hard to keep them safe. Taking a drink, he pushed the bottle away and sighed.
"Everything is going to hell."
Jeremy flicked his hands to his computer. A holographic keyboard appeared before him. "Typing", Jeremy brought up the channel pertaining to Dangen.
Chamberlain...prideful, arrogant bastard..." He looked at tge current Order channels. "Poor use of caps? Oh well...can't have everything all fine n' dandy."
Jeremy dispelled the logs with quick keystroke. He sighed. Stepping to his bed, Jeremy removed his shirt, kicked off his, shoes, and collapsed onto the bed, falling asleep.
-----------------------------------
Aqua opened the door to Jeremy's cabin, smiling at the mess. He was the most un-uniform officers in the Order. He didn't care for uniformers; You do 110%, you could wear nothing but your underwear. He forged friendships with the crew. The crew of the Oathkeeper were loyal to him. Aqua set the prelimanry report on his desk, sat on the, side of the bed, and gently combed his hair.
"Jere...how can you keep your hair so spiky without gel?"
Aqua kissed his cheek and got up. She made it to the door...
"I'm just that awesome."
Aqua rolled her eyes at him, but left smiling. Hate him, love him, didn't matter. He never changed.
