With the mining mod off..

Since the mining mod is off, and since I don't have the means to see how many Barges are on the server. I think that a lot of new players, thinking for profit, will buy these mastodonts.

I don't want to see the same ship over and over, again and again, in each system that I enter or exit. Trading was buffed by making the Barges open for SRP, mining was set off, why? And no, I don't believe that a couple of new players, breaking the rules in the major mining systems are the guilty ones.

I hope that you've understood what I am trying to say.

EDIT: Could a Moderator add the line 'I don't have one' in the 'Why did you bought it' line?

Anyway I mined before, we even had some sort of mining faction. Though since I gone dark with activity so did my trading and mining.. sold mining ship I only have Zoner 5k transport which I don't use. With mining mod on it gives more RP opportunities to those who are willing to RP while making profit, to nice pirates etc.. these trouble makers will just go to other place and do bad stuff.. turning off won't make it better.

I lack a Barge, I don't see the need to have one. Barge is balanced so you won't make profit by trading with it. It's only made to act like a storage device. : ))))) Though with that hold you can RP a whole colony. (bandit)

Yes I own a barge (faction ship since months) , maybe there is too many barge but I personaly think they are not as common as popular bs.

I'll tell the barge... is a gimmick ship nothing else.. Heck, from the poll, the majority of the owner don't know why they bought it.

Its very profitable if you know how. Mine already paid for itself, and is on the way to paying for its Cap 8 too.
