Quite interesting. Some random spice in there. I hope this works.
Don't worry about Q_Q too much, I've learned that traders will even complain when your demand isn't anything more then their time (of course forcing someone to sit there for what seems like forever and listen to spam is evil in it's own right).
' Wrote:Not just transports for sure, and Marauders also enjoy the taste of well cooked meat scavanged from a battlefield so, a good friendly barbecue brawl isn't out of the question. As for boarding, the prey wont need to RP much if he wants to, just mostly listen to us ramble about whoring his nurses onboard.
You are aware to the fact that jinkusus are colony ships, meaning they are like a mobile freeport.
Rape, Destroy, Plunder and eat.
Beside from that, I got small idea for you, that will make small changes and will be original. if you want contact me in PM or contact me in skype: ametviceman
' Wrote:Yea I just thought about that now. Board ship, rape, pillage, murder, and then what, right?
Well I think to make it more Disco, your typical encounter would have to go like this:
1/ Bloodlust roll success.
2/ RP berserk monstrosities in semi-understandable english to let your target know he's about to be boarded and thourougly ***-raped.
3/ Attempt to ram the ship.
4/ Spam train cd if he tries to get away and shoot him down entirely if keeps trying.
5/ RP some boarding procedures.
6/ Wait for some sort of RP response from prey about prepping his own security forces onboard.
7/ If not, start RPing boarding action monstrosities. If yes, attempt Boarding rolls.
8/ If unsuccessful, let the prey go. If successful, RP boarding action monstrosities.
9/ When finished, RP your men to set the ship on autopilot back to wherever it was going, in all its glorious and gory testimonials inside for all the civilised world to see, and fear.
You've misunderstood me. I mean that according to the pirate ID, you have to make a cargo or credit demand before you can destroy the ship. So you're going to somehow have to make a discernible demand for cargo or credits which then doesn't open you up for PvP abuse. Like demanding fifty millions from a BWT would be PvP abuse.
You have to give that person a chance to live. Otherwise you're just being terrorists and that's not allowed by the ID. There's a specific ID for that.
Watch out for powergaming. Some people may not want to have their ship crew raped and murdered savagely, so you have to respect what the other player wants and not go controlling what happens to their characters without their permission. Saying for example that you're mass-murdering all of their crew when they don't want that to happen will result in, if it were me, some powergaming back. And when I powergame, I mean business.

I was Ethos|James.McAteer by the way. The encounter was interesting, and I was fortunate in that I was using an Arrow so you couldn't hit me with your GB turrets.
[17:45:39] Wolfs Ghost (Murphy): Tom, you have problems. Go kill yourself.
[19:25:12] Johnny (Jam): Tomtom, I will beat you with a spoon.
[14:22:56] Prarabdh Thakur: KILL HIM WITH A SHEEP.
[17:40:48] Eagle (Junes): Tom should be slapped with a spoon.
[11:32:18] Warspite: Thank you for being so awesome Tom. <3
[18:17:36] Metano: I love you tomtom
[20:06:24] Warspite: I will seriously give you epic head.

Alright, then I suppose Marauders are currently looking for good captains to drive their fleet so for now a good tradeoff would be for the preyed ship's Captain to hand himself over to be turned into one of us, never to return, and we let the ship go, or else, we proceed and murder everyone instead. Or we order he hands over half of his crew to us, or suffer same consequences.
How does that sound?
I absolutely loathe powergaming.

He can offer him.

You are wrong, he can make RP demands aswel, ofcourse they have to be reasonable - for example I forced people to hear a song or face death.

I would force no such thing obviously, if a captain is "forced" to join us inRP to save his ship and crew (and rl time) but doesnt really want to join our faction, understandibly, we can always RP his escape, but he wouldn't be able to interact with us in that system for the next 2 hours or so as a result nor be able to call in on anyone to perform any form of retribution during that period. Sounds fair?

Yes.
