Wasn't that beacuse the LR was basically saying they werent Rogues anymore, but completely seperate from the indies, and they shot them beacuse they were competition?
That's not a use of FR2.
That's being stupid.

Ok, i'll make sabre right now. Will go to pirate all i see in bretonia. If some 101st will try to attack me or order me around i'll go brutal sanctionlancer and we'll see who will win.
' Wrote:Well, we have a precedent, the reason why that red line appeared in that rule. 101st made a cease fire with Bretonia. And then tryed to FR5 indies who still pirated brets. But they got warned that if NPCs are pirating bretonia vanilla-wise no official faction can stop indies from doing it as well. Nor they can shoot at them because same ID'd players can't attack each others.
BUT IT IS TOTALLY OFF TOPIC
This is pretty much what i been trying to say,and why i mentioned 18months ago. I am just not as elegant i guess.
After all alot of people were here before certain groups/factions,and based their characters on what RP was then. Some will not change cause others say so,and some will change despite what others tell them. And rule wise this is all perfectly in line with disco rules. Even if the general public,or factions like it or not. Rules overide RP.
New 101st tactic.
Jameson orders indies disobeying 101st RP to help raid Gamma.
Order follows vanilla and Discovery RP to the letter, therefore, order cannot be disobeyed according to FR2.
Your welcome Sir Jameson.

k? k.
Seriously now, people need to understand that the 101st does lead the outcast, just as RM leads Rheinland or the Corsair Council leads the corsairs. If you want to do whatever you want with no respect for any authorities get a Freelancer ID and go crazy
I don't raid if i don't want even if some faction leader ordering me. I feel free to spend my time in whatever i want.
That right is applied to ordering indies not to use capital ships to fight with fighters for example. BUT NOT MORE.

When you get to the point where your only valid defense involves hiding behind rules that are, quite frankly, flawed, rather than a point of common sense...
Well, you know you're doing something pretty stupid.
The point stands. Official faction can't TELL U WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT. There is a field called Vanilla RP, inside it we can do what we please and NO ONE from any official faction can't do crap about it even if they very want.
Right existed to prevent bad game experience like 10 dreads vs 1 fighter, 101st (and corsairs as well, and many other official factions with them - we are not actually to blame) doesn't made any notable progress towards preventing such things from happening.
