My first thought "Not another thread for ranting"
My second thought "Not another thread against people who doesn't speak english".
My third thought... if they are harming the game, report them.

You borned knowing english? You learned it when you were young? Or you just forgot how it was when you didn't know english?
Of course you must know english to play here, it's the most important tool to role play... no wait, it's the second one, the most important thing to role play is having a couple of cell brains (english or non english cell brains).

If you don't want to help that people, then just report them. But while you are doing that, remember that in the other side of the computer there is another person trying to have fun too. And let's find out if you feel so good about what you did.

There are 2 types of people who doesn't speak english. Those who want to learn and those who wasn't. We should try to help those who want to learn. If we go and ban all those who doesn't speak english, we would be banning good players whom just need a little help.

Remember that learning a language is not so easy... I've been playing freelancer for 2 years now, and I learned a lot, but I still have a lot to learn too.

If people would have banned me for no speaking english in my first days, I'd never came here (yeah, blame them for not banning me), and I would have stopped playing FL (probably).

And it's cruel, and it's not good to be cruel with other people.

but I only encountered russians so far who don't speak english
and I dont speak russian, so I can't help them teach english

This is truth indeed mate, but guy who wants to have fun shouldn't destroy fun of the others at first place. I never said they should stop play online. They should just move on some server, or to some game, where they can speak freely with their native language.

As far as i can say, from all these guys i've ever met, there are indeed two groups of these players yet different ones:
1st: Players who, by using "I cant english" just try to avoid being pirated.
2nd: Players, whose english skills are really low, but they think that by saying "I cant English" they are freed from rules, and they dont have to be watched over as equals to others.

There are not Freelancer servers in spanish (for example)

Well those are the kind of players you should blast away. And after doing that, they should ask "why did it happen to me?" and try to learn.

When teaching to another player, it goes beyond than just the language problems. It's the attitude, the role play, it's the fair play, it's the common sense. I've seen players with limited knowledge of english being awesome players, and even role playing, with language limitations, but roleplaying at the end.

But those players probably got in troubles for not speaking english in their first days.

All we need is to be critics on who are good players and who are bad players, taking the language out of consideration.

why does this have to make sense?

english isn't the main language of only this server, many servers use that as primary language

note: chinese is the most spoken language in the world, 2nd is spanish, 3th is english

But, I really don't think that you should sanction or ban people. That's arrogant and rude. Besides, can't you speak another language instead of making everyone else learn yours? Not to sound jerkish, it's just the Hammer of Just.

Yo hablo espanol e ingles... por que no habla una otra idoma tambien?
