In my opinion it is unnecessary to be a part of coalition for roleplaying a russian...or whoever you might want.
For example - you could have picked a zoner and claim yourself a representor of the nation you are willing to be.
Diaspora may be an answer of your question.
But back on topic - I think it is not right to make Coalition ID less or more opened. As for me, it will only add unwanted activity in omegas and southern-east omicrons.
I'll be honest, the concept of indies has NEVER been popular within the faction, and it was practically forced upon us by higher powers. We didn't willingly choose to have indies.
That being said, while the idea is not popular, we'll try to make the most out of being given indies. We'll treat Coalition Indies just like we'd treat SCRA Members, that however also comes with responsibility on the part of the indies. You will get respect, and be treated as we'd treat any other SCRA Member but we expect you to act like an SCRA Member and follow the command structure that has been in place for years. It's worked for years, and don't think we'd let a bunch of indies stomp all over that.
Love you little broski, but shut up about things you don't understand. There is going to be ONLY one person issuing any orders to Indies, me. Until such time as you prove yourself ready for the responsibility. This is not "Order him and her about" nor are Indies being granted ids for you to lord special privilege over them. Until further notice your 2IC FR2/FR5 powers are revoked. You want them back you show me you're ready for them.
Unacceptable.
@Daedric: How about Militsiya? Seems to be good enough, and from there it can be sorted out by the relevant group leaders? I would encourage Indies to come up with their own names, but in general I will refer to them as Militsiya as needed.
@Dusty: Behaviour such as you pointed out will be dealt with by me directly. This is not why this ID is being created nor behaviour I will condone from SCRA members. This is not open season, nor is it to encourage bad behaviour from my members. They sit in a position of privilege, if they abuse it, I will take it away from them.
@others: Yes it seems like there will be two separate IDs, this will make transition smoother. There is a lot of freedom with a Coalition ID, which does make it rather powerful, even with a few restrictions added. Respect that, please. Don't go overboard, the SCRA will lead by example, and I hope I have enough trust from the community by now that you know I will be balanced and unbiased in my approach to complaints both towards the OF and the Indie players.

Thank you Alvin, looks like you caught the gist of what I was aiming for.
To further explain my vague request - most official faction members use the terms reserve or secondary as insults to indy players and neither term really makes sense from a role play perspective. From a organizational one? Sure, due to how Disco operates.
Anyways, good luck Alvin and the rest of the SCRA. This was a large step for you all and I hope it works out how you wanted it too.
