@Zapp evn; As a Hoodlum, you are not permitted to fly anything other than Outcast snub ships (fighters and bombers). So yes, the Sabre is the only thing so far. But in a few days, you'll be able to choose between a promotion to Smuggler and a promotion to Henchman, and if you choose the latter, you can have any snub ship you like, provided it's not something ridiculously OORP (Outcasts wouldn't fly their enemies ships).
They are guards (though a load with some cardamine might be a good RP idea) of both the Outcasts/BLS' interests, BLS cardamine smugglers and all Outcast cardamine smugglers. A little bit like an unlawful version of the RepEx Security staff.
If you want to move cargo, though, become a Smuggler. When 4.84 is out I'll be reworking the Smugglers as a subdivision with Smuggler ID's.
Might want to consider combining the Smuggler and Henchmen into one rank/position, and encourage members to have both an escort fighter and a smuggling vessel. It would be a shame if we ended up with a bunch of Henchmen and no Smugglers. If everyone was both, then members could switch back and forth depending on which position needed filling at the time.
Or have them as both sides of the same coin. Smugglers focus on moving cargo with their freighters and less on combat, while Henchmen focus on combat, though they can still move cargo (though it's not their main focus).
What's the point of joining a smuggling faction if you're not gonna smuggle? Besides, smuggling isn't the same as trading. Trading, in itself, is pretty boring. Fly from Point A to Point B with cargo, sell cargo, buy cargo, fly from Point B to Point A, sell cargo, rinse and repeat. Smuggling is full of dangers, both from Police, the Military, Corsairs, and Bounty Hunters.
