Subject: Patrol resulting one bounty collected
I was flying with rookie McCloud flying he's trusty Serpent and me flying Manta in Magellan looking for targets. First we heard over system comms one hacker singing happy songs. Well, we were amused. He was still a criminal wannabe but his partner Dominic.Greene was of different matter altogether. He eluded us by jumping through a very un-stable looking jump hole leading who knows where.
But what we managed to corner after a longish chase was this Hacker wannabe Kugo. As we had things well in hand I turned down Crash's offer of help to come to collect the bounty.
As I was heading to Manchester I suddenly dropped from the lanes and I was still stargazing and trying to get the autopilot's screensaver of beach resort in Cortez off when the notorious Hacker Phate issued a warning and swiftly put my ship out of commission. Next time I'll make sure I don't wanna "die" because I was daydreaming.

The Directorate is satisfied you were acting in good faith. Your license to hunt remains valid.
Corsair activity is reaching fever pitch. Seems these imbeciles breed faster than we can kill them. And those M26's must be easier to assemble than a cheese sandwich because they seem to have an inexhaustible supply of the damn things. APM have undertaken a special order for ships specially designed to deal with those rust-buckets.
We received a communication from RepEx shipping on this very matter. They have promised a 300k bonus to S/D pilots who work escort jobs for them. All recruits are to give priority to escort duty. Synth Foods, RepEx, IND and APM ships are our only valid contractors. If they contact you requesting a escort, attend to their needs immediately - unless you are engaged in a combat.
Senior Agent Behn will be giving a presentation on combat skills in the briefing room this evening. Attendance is obligatory. We have managed to get our hands on some rare recordings of combats involving the pirate elements in the Omegas that I'm sure you'lll enjoy. Martinez is organising refreshments.
Recruit Raya "Crash" Remnant has successfully completed probation and is bumped to Agent status. Well done. Probably time to get out of that paper ship you've been flying and try out the heavier combat ships docked at Sheffield. They aren't as manouverable but they pack a better punch.
The handbook will be updated to reflect these changes.

Thanks for the promotion. I`ll try to hit fewer planets and suns in the future. Got a bomber rigged out, callsign Fireball. useless against fighters but very effective against tupperware corsies. If I wasn`t piloting it.

Undocked from new London and continued to Cambridge. Met with Atticus, Fireball and Swordfish. we entered Omega-3 to investigate a corsair occupation. VAF officials joined.
In Omega-3 Swordfish had a communication error and needed to dock on Freeport 1, and Fireball tired to run too far in new shoes and was also forced to dock.
Me and Atticus scanned the area for any Corsair activity, but BAF officers beat us to the prise. I entered Omega-5 to see if any other contacts are nearby. There was sensor contacts, no com chatter, no visuals to be made; hessians mopped up.
We returned to Cambridge and attempted to locate a Gaian. Contact could not be made on the ship, BF was informed and they started broadcasting their search over the system while we where making way to leeds, hoping this would force the Gaian through the lids JH in Cambridge.
There was no contacts in Leeds. Atticus retired to Planet Leeds and i made my way back to Planet New London.

Gentlemen,
Thank you for your hard work and assistance in directing your pilots to perform escort duties for APM shipping. Our crews have been able to complete their runs with the cargos needed to complete work on all systems and structures that were planned. We are in the final stages of construction, and I should have very good news to report to you in the near future regarding those projects.
Due to the nature of your jobs, our shipyards are continually being stretched to capacity. It is my hope that with the completion of our new facilities, we will be able to deliver not only those ships that you require for your normal operations, but also to expand our client base for the smaller units.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me via my office on Bonn Station in New Berlin, or at the main office at Waterloo Station, New London.

It was a warm sight to see another S/D agent on my first day back, oh which reminds me to explain myself. I have not been very active of late as i was stuck in the New Berlin General Hospital medical bay with a case of the Yellow Plague... Nasty bug that one.
Back to the point! I undocked from New Berlin and ran around a lot outfitting my brand new Manta. I found myself in Camebridge heading for Omega 49 to pick up some equipment, when i met APM Cancer being escorted by a freelancer named The.Solaris. After a little banter i turned around and proceeded to escort the APM vessel to New Berlin, The Ring. At Battleship Norfolk we picked up an eager rookie... his name was Sabastian Page if i remember correctly.
The journey was smooth and fast, bellow is some guncam footage of the escort.

Left New London today nursing a hangover, luckily no real taxing duties required my attention.
After though some general patrols in the northern parts of Bretannia with nothing to do i headed to Cambridge. There was talk from BAF about a Corsair (Dark_Iniquity), which they let go due to lack of evidence. After a short while in Cambridge BAF received evidence of this corsairs activities and i was invited to support them and ASF in apprehending this pirate. When we entered O3 to engage him we discovered he had already fled to O5. Pursuit was broken off.
I returned from Cambridge and received a incoming message from RepEx-Shipping|868 requesting an escort. I agreed and after informing them of the activities in Cambridge/O3 they requested that i meet them outside Freistadt Base instead of the intended start location of cam bridge. When i arrived to met them we set course to Cambridge. we had minor lane failures due to kids who think they know what it is to be a pirate. easily taken care off. We arrived at Cambridge and Dark_Iniquity was in the system talking with BAF Officials, which left the lanes clear for us to travel through. We arrived at the destination and payment was received. The RepEx transport needed several hours to reload his ship, i offered an escort back to rheinland should they wish it and gave my contact details.
Currently docked at Cambridge, going to see if BAF need a hand with that pirate.
Regards
Sebastian.

Undocked from Cambridge and set course to meet with the BAF, but there was over 8 other Mercs and Bounty hunters there, and i didn't want to split the bounty on any Sair between that many parties so i returned to Cambridge to relax abit more, will move back to the northern parts of bretannia later.

Quite eventful so far.
I undocked from Cambridge, met with Crash in his new bomber, nice ship. He was under teh weather so he left early. to pass the time i patrolled through New London, Leeds and made my way to Manchester through the Hole.
When i entered Manchester i was jumped by some nobody Gaians and Mollys. When i was mopping these up i noticed chatter coming a Karadin saying something about a bounty. I quickly changed target to Karadin as he was flying a Viper equipped with Corsair weapons, a Corsair IFF and a Merc ID.
I was outclassed from the start of the fight so i concentrated mainly on circling him, must forward my thanks onto banjo for the lessons. I took shots at him when i could but he was quite maneuverable in that ship. There was no immediate threat as he could only turn fast enough to take my shields down, sometimes a bit of my hull, but not too often.
About 5-10 minutes into the duel, with 4-6 other gaian and molly ships trying to pick me off as well, i radioed for backup from S/D-Connor.McCloud. unfortunately he was 2 systems away in Cambridge. I managed to hold the aggressor until Conner arrived, this is where the aggressor took a more defensive stance with us. About another 5-10 minutes more fighting Conner fell prey to one of his own mines and needed to bail out. Left on my own again i concentrated more on evading and taking shots of opportunity.
After another 5-10 minutes of this a passing bounty hunter (BH-Minator-B) gave assistance with this merc. again the merc took a defensive stance to this new threat. after 5-10 minutes he fled to Leeds. we pursued .
When i entered Leeds i re-engaged Karadin with the merc and another participant (Plaktukas), i didn't ask who they where as i wasn't given much time to think with molly fighters and a gunship giving the merc support. we spent 5 or more minutes exchanging fire with the merc while evading fire from the gunship and support craft when the merc fled back to Manchester. we again chased the merc.
I entered Manchester again and reengaged the merc, he seemed to be more worn down at this stage and did not have as many ships engaging us to cause a distraction. with 3 ships engaging him he was nearly constantly evading and trying to flee. all escape options where blocked with well placed cruise disruptor from my peers, unfortunately i blew all my Missile, Cruise Disruptor and Mine ammo during the course of this fight.
Just before the end of the engagement i noticed that my angle to the ship gave me a perfect aim to shoot, as he was evading the other ships, leaving me a clear shot. a few hits from the buckshot and his hull buckled.
That last for quite a long time, and i doubt i would have survived that long without Banjo's advice and the documented training manual, thanks. After thanking Minature and Plaktukas for their assistance i returned to Sheffield Station for repairs. will take a few hours to get these complete.
My Logs are fragmented due to the damage sustained by the engagement, see attached for what was salvagable from the computer. Should anything else happen today i will amend this report.
As requested, a complete report on activities along the Line in the last few days.
Standing orders: Counter M26 incursions into Cambridge and secure trade route Cambridge - Omega 3 - Omega 7 - Stuttgart.
The commanders of the ships encountered were easy prey. Honestly, I don't know who pilots these things. They must be a real threat to trade vessels, but they are hardly military standard crews.
Target: Vest|Lightning-17 is wanted by Guild Core, Rep Ex and the BAF. We assisted a BAF Patrol on this one. Hunter Karl_Mannheim signed up and should receive an equal share.
Target: General_Specific is wanted by Bowex, the BPA and the BAF. The ship strayed into Leeds and was harassing Bowex trade vessels. Again, we had BAF and Bowex ships assisting on this one. You have to give those BAF type their due - they sure can aim.
Nothing else to report. Large Hessian and Corsair combat at the 7 gate. Permitted a Bowex convoy to slip through. Repair ship in the vicinity. Can't understand why.
Crew and ship in good condition.
TWO no. M26 Class Corsair Gunboats destroyed since last report.

Well decided I need a refit and made my way to Sheffield to contact Armoury. On my way out of New Berlin I came across 5 or 6 unioners tearing up one of the AEG battlecruisers. It was brutal. Since they heavily outnumbered me in my manta I headed for Hamburg. Figured I would swing through Liberty to check the area on my way to Sheffield. the Indie systems were quiet as well as Texas. I hit the Cali jump hole and made my way to the lanes. The LN were just engaging a group of Liberty Rogues and when asked said they did not want assistance. Not needed I wandered into Magellan and on to Sheffield. Hooked up with S/D-Armoury and swapped out my Buckshot's for Jade's and am making my way back to Bonn Station.
