Jack was happy to see that Joe was still alive after the blast, and that a beam didn't hit his head. While Joe was about to light his cigar, Jack picked it and threw it on the ground.
Jack Aubrey: Do you want to advise them with smoke signals that we are here?! We are not damned indians.
He then turned around to look at a group of shelves.
Jack Aubrey: Close range combat shotguns, 32 Gauge armor piercing rounds, do you think that you're capable to keep the recoil at bay?
He threw Joe one of the shotguns, alongside several ammo packs for it.
Jack Aubrey: Bretonian GX-75's, you load them from the backside of the rifle. Keep it steady or the thing will rip your arm.
He passed the rifle onto his shoulder
Jack Aubrey: Now lets see, on those shelves I see several pulse grenades to immobilize your target, we should pick those aswell. In that corner I see a submachine gun, pick it with you. I'll carry that scoped rifle aswell, and.... wait.. he noticed a big metal case.. with the label TR-445R Light Machine Gun.. Joe grab that case for a side, I'll grab it for the other. This could come in handy.
He smiled when he read the amount of bullets in the case
Jack Aubrey: 4300 rounds inside, we shouldn't lose this.
Before going out from the armory, he picked another shotgun for Eriksson.
He looked a bit stumbled when Jack threw his cigar on the ground.
Joe : What the...?
He sighed, then Jack threw him the shotgun and he smiled.
Joe : If i can handle the recoil? Sir, i grew up with shotguns, the best way to get someone to cough up the bounty money is with a shotgun to the head.
He picked up the submachine gun and a lot of ammunition.
Joe : Oeh! This should fill them up with lead pretty fast.
He chuckled when he grabbed the side of the armored case.
Joe : I think Erik will like this one aswell....
He had several pins on his belt, which he could use to carry grenades with him. He grabbed the pulse grenades and quickly put them on, whilest walking out of the Armory.
"We're not going to the armory. We're going to the exit and it's like two levels up. Let's hope that the next level has electricity. Come on, we're almost at the staircase."

Dave watched both their backs using his Carniflex UV sensors. He shot several shots but apparently more lights came from the dark veil. He went to the upper level where luckily the emergency lights were on.

Joe and Jack started to run towards the service stairs, going down with the case in one arm, and with their gun in the other one.
Several gunshots could be heard from the level beneath them, aswell for some blood-freezing roars.
Jack Aubrey: Communications are out, damn. Dave and Erik are doomed if they don't find the way to the lower levels.
The lights suddenly went out. Leave them in silence and in darkness at the same time.
Jack Aubrey: Joe, I have a torch in that backpack, pick it.
He then turned towards an old Communication Station, and by using the batteries of his radio station, he activated it. The compound's speakers turned on, making him to be heard by Eriksson and Synk, but for the creatures aswell.
Jack Aubrey (On the Speakers): There should be a laundry shaft somewhere at your position. Dive in it, you'll arrive at the service station below level minus five, watchout for...the batteries died.
Jack Aubrey: Joe, we need to find the elevator shaft.
"Laundry shaft?! Is he serious....I'm getting old for this kind of thing..ok, let's dive in, and hold that artifact tight, Dave. It's going to be a bumpy ride."

Joe put the case down and searched in the backpack for the torch, when he found it he switched it on. A bright light in the darkness. He looked around the corridor and it was a bit too silent, of course, besides the gunshots and occasionall roarings. When Jack told him about the elevator he replied.
Joe : OO-rah sir! Let's get our buddies out of harms way.
He picked up his side of the case and cocked his gun.
Joe and Jack ran through the hallway, heading towards the point in which the elevator was located on the map, ignorning the shadows on their right or left. The metal from their boots could be heard echoing in the silent hallway, mixed to their breath.
Jack Aubrey: JOE! At your right!
A nomad emerged from the darkness, ready to jump on Joe.
