I really, really hate to ask this . . . but I've spent a total of about nine hours searching through the whole friggin' Sirius Sector looking for the dang thing. I thought it was on Planet Pittsburgh . . . but that might've been in 4.83. I'm running 4.84 right now. Seriously, I've checked every base, planet, and battleship that I could find. I know I've missed a few (obviously, since I haven't found the AT again), and I'm frankly tired of tooling around in my Camara (I love the looks, but seriously . . . WORST. TURNING. RADIUS. EVAR. For the size, anyway) looking for it. Would somebody please, please tell me where I can buy it? Or suggest another low-level transport costing 3M or less and having between 500-1000 cargo space? Pretty please? I will give you a tootsie roll pop if you do! =P

The planets initials are C.M. and its in a system very close to the system Pittsburgh is in.

And it also tells you where to buy it in the readme file.

Might also want to consider a Tauranic Raiders Freighter. 400 cargo and transport shields and some other nifty stuff.

Armored Transport turns very close to as poorly as the Camara. As suggeted the Turanic Raiders Freighter is better at turning and fighting, but it has only 400 cargo. It's also only available off some battleship in a Rheinland backwater if I recall correctly.

Ah The Turanic Raiders, a little favourite of mine, for those trips to bars in the more hostile places ...
With a bit of contraband snuggled in the hold. A sting in the tail with that loadout capability.
Could do with just a little tweak in the manouverability stakes ...

That's one of the ships on my request list for a maneuver upgrade:)... that and the Camara both.

How I wish that the Armored Transport can have a hold upgrade.. its one of the most under utilized ship in mod due partly to its hold size..

You might want to go here and have a look at my 4.84 Transport tweaks thread. I've made a cluster of suggestions to improve some of the "close-but-not-quite!" ships so that people would be more inticed to fly them. Small tweaks to the new house transports, a couple of freighters, the armored transport, etc. could use comments by more people.

I've always been a fan of the Camara. Not only because it was the very first non-Vanilla ship I bought, but because of the look - I love it...

Maybe a big brother of this model could be made... you know, about 3 times as big, slower, and a useful cargo hold... if a cargo transport like that could immerse, I'm gonna have myself a shopping spree...

Modders ??!??

you all like the camera ? ... dang i think its more like a flying coffin. .. allright a heavily armed coffin. when cruising, it looks like a heavily armed and burning flying coffin. anyway - its quite small for a freighter, other than that - yea, its OK, i guess - it is detailed in places that are hardly visible ( or maybe i must turn the gamma up )

last time i saw it from the perspective of a juggernaut, it looked much like i would think a capital ship vs. capital ship missile/torpedo should look like.

and yes, the armoured transport looks good indeed. very stylish - and if it had the agility of the turanic raider or the kushan freighter, it would be really nice. but its at least pretty well armoured - hence the name.
