Rheinland has more armor and a bigger powerplant, with 2 turrets, but is slower, and has less manuverbility.
Taiidan has less armor, and not turrets, but is slightly faster and still can mount 2 torp slots.
Its really your call in 4.83, as they are pretty much balanced.
But Dieter, the choice should be down to the RP situation of course:dry:... Not just which is the best.
There is just one little advantage the RH has over the Taiidan as well, but I won't point that out here ...

in the next version you ll get a few more, as it was mentioned. not sure what it ll do to the allmighty balance though.
the kusari bomber is very small in shape, especially when its charging. its fairly manouverable - similar to the taiidan - and has a 360 degree turret - which is . in the end, nicer than having 2 170 turrets, cause, well you only have to pay for one. the torpedo launchers are on the outside - easily visible and hittable. that might be a disadvantage cause a few missile blasts or flaks might take them out.
the warran is a big, ugly blob in the sky. its slow, and appears to be a big target. its powerplant is OK and so is the rest of its stats - but its ugly, so i don t know why anyone would want to fly it.
the havok mkII is nice looking, but doesn t really fit into freelancer ( again that is only my personal point of view ) it appears bigger MUCH bigger than the other bombers, which is probably caused by the closer camera distance. its agility is OK and i guess its gonne make a good civilian bomber ( allthough the term "civilian bomber" is kind of stupid )
the praetorian ( corsair bomber ) is nicely modelled - allthough i don t like its very rusty look. ( yes, its orange like the titans and other corsairs ships, but those are not looking rusty but only painted orange/brown ) - however, i agree - it fits into freelancer the best out of all bombers ( except for the rheinland bomber, which fits into FL just as good ) it appers to be bigger than the kusari or the rheinland bomber, but is still nicely manouverable. its powerplant is good enough to chainfire any lvl 10 weapon long enough. the torpedo launchers are hidden inside its wings - so are well protected from fire.
the bretonian bomber ( forgot its name ) is nice. allround average.
all in all - the bombers do not really show too many differences. they all have a powerplant to support even the haviest weapons for sustained fire - for long enough. they are all fairly agile - but won t outfly a fighter. they differ in armor, but i don t think that makes a huge difference seeing that they are facing turretfire in the several thousand damage.
in the end, its mostly about the looks and feeling with it. personally, i like the kusari bomber the most. but i would expect the kusari military to jealously guard that ship and reserve it to their own military. the havok II might be the new "bomber for everyone that hasn t got their own faction bomber". i d expect a lot of corsairs to gladly swap their old taiidans for praetorians. not only does it look better, but when flying in a pack they look similar to the titans and so are not easily targetted when the defenders go for the bombers first.
