He heard something from his belt, a voice.... It was Erik!

Joe : Oh shi.... Ehm...

He coughes

Joe : Good luck Erik, thats what i said, and that it was a shame about your shoes.

He turned off the communicator.

As Eriksson went deep into the tunnel, all were waiting for his message to give them the confirmation that the tunnel leads to the exit. Eventually Eriksson contacted the small group and he found instead of the exit, something more vital, the power generator's room. Dave took the comm device and hailed Eriksson.

Dave : It's really bad we didn't found the exit but that can give us a "tactical" support by setting the generator to overload and fry everything in this damned compound. Normally, there is a ventilation shaft which leads to the exit, but as we found the generator room, that means we are over 100 meters underground which is... bad. Anyway, what's the status of the room Eriksson ? Is it clear, any sign of K'Haras ?

"There are no Nomads in here. It looks like the backup generator room and it doesn't seem as it was used much. Hell, it's the cleanest room yet. I'll see if I can find a console to turn on the lights or something..."

After a few minutes Eriksson replied.

"Dave, I believe this is your area of expertise - the hard disk is corrupted so you'll need to fix it so we can do whatever we want to do with this damn generator. Do you copy, Dave?"

Dave : Understood Erik, give us a minute and we will be there. Joe get the ropes ready !

The group went down the tunnel with Jack in front because he had the assault rifle in his hands, they didn't want any surprises apparently. When they got there, he said to Joe.

Dave : Joe make sure the perimeter is secure, verify any possible breaches on the room.
