Wait there are more then 5? derp.jpg

@seriousness
I know USI just trains in Con (not that w have a guard system anyway) and when we do, we just pull in a bunch of alts and can pretty much cover everything there is out there with alts.

As far as factions who actually have guard systems? the only ones I can see using it are the ones way out from Con, I can't see why the LN/LPI/LSF would need it when they can just pop into Con. But I couldn't tell you if they did or not.

[RM] have them, and they can be useful. Other factions have them too, so yes, factions still uses them.

[RHA] Uses them too and they really are/were very useful since they give you the chance to have 4 different ships with different equipment to train with on one place where the faction is supposed to train. I know skype can solve this but it`s way better with shared training accs in a guard system than moving all of the ships to conn.

At one point the Mollys had 4 ships for training in Londonderry when the faction became official. Over time and some leadership changes, those accounts have disappeared, and I intend to rebuild them. Having a skilled pilot flying an opposition ship is a good thing for practice.

Edit: Real world uses simulators all the time. The USAF has an "aggressor" squadron that uses aircraft of similar size and maneuverability as the planned opposition, and trained to operate using enemy tactics. This squadron travels from base to base each year to provide realistic in-air training.
