Instead of putting in encryption levels that don't really mean anything, why not instore a system like this?

Open encryption: Anyone can reply to the thread.

Light: If constructive, anyone can reply to the thread.

Medium: If involved/can directly relate to the topic, you can reply to the thread.

High: Only the party specified by the sender can reply.

Thoughts?

EDITS: Woops, meant forum, not chat.

I want to get off Mr. Igiss' wild ride.

You cannot force to use some system of encryptions. It's RP choice. And such system would be useless.

Good idea making the transmission encryption simple and universal for everyone.

However it's pretty obvious that a message should be only directed to the specified parties, and "hacking" a transmission is a lame excuse to interfere with forum RP, encrypting should not be necessary at all.

Hacking is and should be "to be allowed by one of both parties" only.

I think the forum messages can be developed nicely and actually provide a good roleplay and information brokering.

Or people can be douches and stop communicating because they "know" someone is intercepting the messages.

Or this as it is.

Variety would actually be good and develop some good information brokering. However the thing would create a lot of rage. DL do you have any developed suggestion?

I didn't get a single word of what you just said right there. Could you repeat with simpler terms, please?
