And I agree with Bulldog, there are many people on both sides of that fence (too many factions and let em have their YANF). Each have valid points and neither is necessarily wrong or right.

*sigh* hey AC_Merc, what are we going to do now? Seems i missed Space wolfs faction, must be a fairly new one cuz i didnt see it on the offcials list.
Me and my 4 clan members dont really have plans on joining another faction and is why we are all strongly for creating our own. I have worked on so many RP's these past few days.
Id like your advice on what to do here? Should i continue with creating what seems another LWB faction, or do you wish for me to try and fill a gap in this servers pirate RP some place else.
I lay this final decision in your capable hands. Or to any others who have authority on this subject

You could have mearly stated that you were trying to create your own faction and mentioned it, as i was not aware of its creation. Not post in my thread in what i feel is trying to recruit to yours, i find that quite disrespectfull. I shall talk to AC_merc and the admins on their thoughts about this situation
I am also not going to post a recruitment thread or faction status untill the community states it is ok to do so. Hence why i have not do so already. We have a total of 5 members and it is my understanding that we are allowed to create one then.

Well yes and no, ME personally am creating the faction because i feel that the Rheinland need more pirates in their sector, and me and my friends wish to RP in ways that suit them best. What i mean is with factions that fit their particular RP character or their playing style.
I agree that such a mind set can lead to a factions downfall or even it not starting at all. I believe that through our 'interactions' i have come to realize that now. I wish to say that i intend on creating this faction with the betterment of RP in mind, and not just solely for our own purposes

factions are a lot of work
Aye factions are alot of work, and ive put in a decent bit so far and i know much more will be demanded of me if we do become a faction. And the reason being is if we are in a faction, we are inclined to do much more RP and that is why I personally like this server, for its RP.
A faction is more work yes, but mainly because it is more heavily RP related. Ive played many games and on many more RP servers, and i personally love it. Being a faction, i believe, is like being a kid in a candy store to me. All the potential RP is really cool if its done right. Thats why i id much rather have a faction as opposed to a group.
And ya you can have RP with a group true enough, but you arnt restricted by things like factions would be, which make it more difficult in my eyes and much more rewarding when you do accomplish something. Such as beating RM ( no flaming intended, just a random name i choose) with just crows or sabre's. Or taking down mulitple cap ships in just fighters

For example, the LWB are restected to basically just fighters and some GB, taking down a some cap ships and destroyes would be very exicting in a group of fighters KNOWING that thats the only thing they could use.
Well, Spacewolf's faction is not official yet either (as far as I know). Just a thought here, why dont the two of you pool your ideas together and make a LWB faction.
Here is the problem that any new faction is going to encounter at this time. Unfortunately, most new players are showing no interest in joining a faction, but instead seem to prefer remaining independent or (even more unfortunately) form their own faction. You and any other member with good faction ideas are going to run into this problem.
It does seem as if you wish to start a Rheinland faction (can't blame you, Rheinland is my favorite area). There are no rules stating that there can't be two LWB factions, but is it the best idea. Unfortunately those holes in the pirate factions are filling up very quickly, seems everyone wants to be bad guys.
PS: I have no authority over faction creation or anything of that nature, I was just giving suggestions and what not.

Well, id have to talk with my other factions members as i like to make decisions with them at this point in time. We could, as you say merge forces with this Spacewolf or make two LWB factions
Like i said, id have to talk to the other guys but if avoiding a whole lot of hassel and hair pulling by just making a 2nd LWB faction, but i dont wish to step on Space wolfs toes.
My apologies to you Spacewolf, i didnt see that you had started you LWB faction, i guess i didnt think too look here for it.
Im gonna talk to my buds and see what they think is a good course of action to take. Although putting forth effort into this RP i would like it see going some place as well, only time will tell.
And Id like to know yall's opinions as well please, on if we should join forces or make two different wings. I personally would prefer two different wings, as it would not cause as much head butting tryin to figure out how to incorperate the two. But please lemme kno guys
