NPC's 3-5k away

Basically, npc's spawn from 3-5k away, whenever they do this my game freezes for about 2 seconds, and when your in battle's where there is lots of hostile factions, this happens very frequently.....

I can fly above the plain where its npc free, and i can fly normally without freezing up.

happens mostly when there isnt many people on the server, becuase thats when npc swarms are out



Just wondering if its just me, or are other people suffering?

Try using a ramdisk for Freelancer.

I had this issue on a slower machine. It is a PITA.

It is because of HD speed. I run the game on a 10k SCSI now... ended the issue.
