This is what i would call a good battle between 2 factions , pretty interseting stuff , i was in my transport passing by and i happend to catch this .

I have recently met and discussed with Atalawohisdi the trader that flies the Caribe. Just so everyone knows, I engaged in Sigma 13. He flies through half the system before going back to New Berlin, where he cruises from one side of the system to the other, hugging the sun as close as he can. All the while, he flies near Battleships trying to scrape me off. I finally send out the white flag, and move back to Sigma 13. However, it was a ruse, and he bit. Knowing his trade route, I interdicted the trade lane and the chase began anew. It ended, an hour after it began, with me retreating, out of Countermeasures and getting very irritated.

He kept boasting how he has never been caught; I'd like to see him beat until he begs to pay, then beaten some more.

I was gonna say, looks like a few people need to work on their tags. In that battle, who is fighting who, I see a couple of Mandalorians and 1 UOG, but who are the others fighting for/against?

it was [M] vs everyone else it was quite a good fight. i was in my bomber (-=The_Eagle=-[M] ) soo i didnt do to good against all fighters but in the end no Mandalorians were killed

Its the M versus everyone else. I know because the others were all in one group when I got off Freelancer.

Whether M won or lost though, they didn't have a great ending to the night.. They were still all in their group when HF came to Dublin and smashed them. Killed them and the Sierra, whom had no bots and batts. O.o

*Shrug* Decided to break Tank's Ravager out, knock off the dust since its former owner can't use it..

Mandalorean Mercenary John Cabot, Mando'a Diplomat

Communicating from the Foreign Office of the Mandalore

The battle witnessed above was the culmination of a night of victory for the Mandalorean Mercenaries.

Recently, for trifling reasons which are at this point irrelevant, The Union of Gold have sought fit to declare war on the Mandaloreans.

This will be remembered as the worst mistake their people have ever made.

The Mandaloreans Dha Piruna, Billy Bishop, and the Eagle invaded Dublin and Londonderry to probe the enemy's defenses and look for weakness.

In Dublin, after a successful foray into Londonderry, we were challenged by a small fighter and assault fighter fleet, led by .:UOG:.Z*Joeinicus, consisting of himself, Gronath, Wardog, Monster

Flying 2 Taiidan Bombers and 1 Wrath fighter, the 3 Mandaloreans destroyed the enemy fleet with no loss to our numbers.

We were assisted in mid battle by the Mercenary Knight.Stealth.

Dha Piruna achieved 2 kills, and Billy and the Eagle, one each. Eagle had the pleasure of downing the Union of Gold fighter.

The Mandalorean Mercenaries will continue to invade the Union of Gold homeland until they lie prostate before us.

For the Mandalore! For Honour!

((OOC : Yes, Dha Piruna has a Bowex tag and is working on it... Also Knight Stealth was not a Mandalorean, and likely had the Police tag. The other team? Dunno. They were a mixed bag, except for the UOG))

I was there too, though I arrived a bit late (WarDog and Gronath were the only ones left, MONSTER.Bird was just shot down as I arrived). After pondering a bit I noticed Outcast aligned bogies, and I joined the brawl in favor of the Mandalorians.

It was pretty fun, after that the Sierra arrived and requested assistance with a trio of HF on Bretonian Space. However, the HF Capships and their gunboat provided to be too much, as they kept resupplying the gunboat while slowly wearing us down. It was a shame that the Sierra was shot down so fast, I think its captain said something about not having bots and shields.

I was too busy this weekend (had a gig) so i wasnt on at all. next saturday, approximately 6 pm server time (5pm gmt) the UOG will be on in strength. I look forward to it.

I think the timing may be pretty good for us. A lot of the [M] are EST, so that is about 1 PM Sat here (-4 right now, daylight savings)

We should discuss, possibly on a new thread (like the RM vs TBH war) timing, and ship restrictions. Puck, if you agree, please start the thread.

You guys have Rogue GB's and they are nasty, so a capship (i/c GB) restriction is needed.

Initial suggestion to get ball rolling: 2 capships per side max, rest Fighters or Bombers only.

Also, do we need an admin there as ref? We aren't RM and TBH, kinda like Lithuania and Estonia going at it.

Also Battle System : Dublin I think.

Also : No allies. UOG and [M] only.

i don't think too much planning will be needed. we wont have more then 2-3 cap ships. we wont bring allies, and we are fair fighters, unless you dont trust the [M] players no ref will be needed.

other then that, lets just see what we can scrape together. over planning often leads to the whole thing falling through.
