Dopamino you are a trouble maker, he asked for this thread to be closed to stop you from doing this. Dopamino if you continue i will have to lock this thread, read the history of the NovaPG then come back and speak the history, dont pee me off you wont like that.................

Uhm..I quite agree with Mjolnir point.
While I'm not complaining about anything (if I was ingame I would have probably done a suicide mission against that battleship, banzai!!), as a real person, I can say raiding Kusari (especially with big guns) will get the opposite of the desired effect, making people flee rather than join.
It may be a good idea to coordinate some RP event, so I can put up an event on KNF forums and try to have most members possible online at that moment, because we are few and rarely online together, last time my bad memory can remember to have played with other warriors was more than two weeks ago (my a/b/c report in our action reports), it was a miracle (and a very fun night for me).
Quote: think that we should organise a big drive to get players to join factions that are needed on the server, like KNF.
Totally agree on this, but I also think one of the major issues is people have too many noses, someone said to me "meh..boring life".
It may be true, life can be boring sometimes.
When I came over here (and not planning to give up someday if I still have hands to use keyb and mouse), I took my time to read all the official factions and I have done my choice: Kusari, only Kusari, becuse it fits my personality.
We need loyal warriors, not someone that use Kusari as a last choice if there isn't anything else do to.
I don't care if it is boring, it is my duty. (I know, this is only my point of view)

Well, okay, we'll try get you some more pilots. If you've not noticed, I've been suggesting KNF to a lot of new players.

Some more active recruitment won't hurt you. QCO are recruiting a hella fast right now, so there's no reason for folks not to join you.

Quote:I think Mjolnir's criticism (which I disagree with) is that Blood Dragons are terrorizing Kusari with a bit too much firepower for the task at hand. Overkill, if you will.

I agree that it does look like overkill and that, maybe, small wings of fighters would be better for Blood Dragons, however I am of the opinion that big attacks on KNF NPCs like this will force KNF to get more players and become more active which the server needs.

Basically, if the KNF aren't prepared to defend their home, don't blame their enemies.

I'll agree completely. As we have observed, the only reason the NovaPG/Bushido continuum acquired Class Ten Capital Ships was to combat the BSG, who are equipped with some of the best capital ships for combat in the NovaPG's home territory, namely, asteroids, and with seven of them at last count it would take quite a herd of unavailable bombers to neutralize them all...indeed, during our tenure in Kusari we have seen many large incursions of four Battlestars at a time. Large-scale attacks might indeed be a very effective recruiting effort...when we first began playing on this server we were pirated by the old NovaPG and, to say the least, were angry enough by the sheer futility of our escape attempts (One thing we are prided on is our ability to fly our Luxury Liner), annoyed enough to have our best pilots enlist in the KNF, then in the beginning of the venerable Madam DeLuna's regime. We shall say this: blaming capital ships for the KNF's difficulties is utter bull. The obsession with battleships is, at this point, sheer overkill, and the real problem is with players being poor sports. We are confronted with several of our good friends having near nervous breakdowns because this mania is forcing them to scrap characters they have played for so long that they have become almost as attached to those ships as they are to their spouses, pets, children; Epyon had an interesting (and fairly passionate) treatise on this very subject in the Version Announcement thread. Anti-Battleship crusades are quickly becoming counterproductive. This seems to be another of those...I suggest we refrain from complaining any further; the next version's regulations seem to have eliminated that problem quite well.

Yes, battleships are easily countered.

SCRA eat them for breakfast. So do the RM. Even without using bombers.

Also, NovaPG only have one battleship.

Yes, I've noticed and I thank you for this.

Active recruitment? Can you be more specific?
I already set up the recruitment thread and open to suggestions.
I'm also on Skype if you prefer, same nick as here.

To our knowledge, the NovaPG/Bushido continuum have three Class Ten Capital Ships, the Kana Keiko, an Outcast Dreadnought, the Kawa Panterra, another Outcast Dreadnought, and the Razor's Kiss, a Zoner Juggernaut. If that list has changed, please inform us. Our knowledge of fleet rosters of late has slipped a tad.

Right, active recruitment involves not just a recruitment thread but actively speaking to individual players, new and old, explaining what you guys are all about. You'll find a lot of people aren't interested, but a good few will join.

We've picked up a few enthusiastic players, and we're sure you'll manage the same.

Recruiting in welcome threads and in-game is the way forward. When the next version comes out, I'm actually planning on creating a Bretonian Liner as an Ambassadorial ship to Liberty, recruiting new players in New York and California.

EDIT: Currently the NovaPG only use the one Battleship, the Kana-Keiko, according to my sources.

Flagship-----> Kana-Keiko (Outcast Dreadnought)
2nd-----> Kawa-Panterra (Outcast Dreadnought) that ship is atm In-Active but it will only be used if necesary
3rd-----> Tauri (Outcast Dreadnought) also only used wen necesary

Those are the only ones we have
As for the Razor's Edge (Zoner Juggernaut) i scraped that one becouse i hate flying thru the rocks and lanes

Cruisers, We have non becouse i limeted the members at max to a GB
and is mostly used for NPC mission or harversting

But we prefer mostly Fighters in combat

In the futere some things will change wen the new mod is active

I see, that there is some new member now, and the Hogosha is here also, so its good to see that.

The only problem is, that many player use capships (pirates and terrorists) and our "high command" personel who has clearance to use destroyers, and BS (the only one BS) are play very infrequently.

Maybe I will change my factionless order BS char to a factionless Kusari destroyer one with Kusari Police ID, and if it is an invasion, and there is no defense or KNF at all, I will use that char for defense (but in the new version I will change my chimaera to a bomber, or... maybe I just create one.
Can I use FL Account Manager to create more then 5 account?

And yes, if there is a BS it cannot pirate traders, but there is some case, when a BS fly with one or two GB or Fighter, and the BS is just sitting on the back...

Yesterday an outcast tagged terrorist, with an outcast destroyer just killed on sight every trader player and off course the NPC-s in New Tokyo jg at Honshu.

I think New Tokyo as a core system must be free of enemy BS-s if there are not any defensive force online.

Its just a notion/opinion.

Good playtime for everyone!
