Anyway, you had a bad day. Cali was full of crap yesterday, but it got solved eventually. Oh, and before you cry more about the Navy not doing its job, it isn't our job to protect every trader and his dog from the oh so evil pirates. Hire escorts, will you ?
Exactly reason I avoid Liberty. Exactly the reason I metagame, powergame and what-not game whenever I can to avoid every possible pirate. And even if they get to me, I rather destroy my cargo and then die, then paying them a coin.
Honestly dude, get out of Liberty. Leave it to rot with its supposed naval and police forces and all those so called rogue pirates. Its all one big pvp cover. But that is everywhere, so no rest for you I say.
Join our miners and haulers, we transport hundreds of millions worth of ore each day, without being pirated, cuz metagaming is the way. And so is avoiding Liberty. ALl the can do here is prey on the beginners. Ignore them and have fun elsewhere.
And to others - balance over realism? Discovery is everything but balanced. Wake up sheesh. The only achieved balance is that the VHF pilots cry less lately since capitals are so underpowered and weak that even LNS have decided to leave the server. Everybody was bullying and blaming them, why play then? Join navy and fly VHF til end of your days. NO thanks, rather be a stupid indie. Oh wait, Navy kills you then. THEIR OWN!
Today,at about 12 am, 5Lane Hackers, two of which are official faction members and 2 Outcasts, one of which owns a Tridente, stopped traffic in Magellan.
Stop it.Seriously, stop whining.Stop Q_Qing and stop trolling.Stop exaggerating things which are minor, stop whining about stuff which happens every time the blue moon appears.Stop Q_Qing because people do not comply to your wishes. This is not your personal universe where you can lord everyone around and judge people using your emotions.Think logically.Think.Just think.
I'm gone.Goodbye.
Seems like you're really only targeting one house. Some other houses have no major problem with pirates. Try Kusari. (Yes, I know they have a lot of pirates at times, but generally they seem to be at 0...)
And of course once again, get out of liberty!:P
Though don't come to us and complain, what do you expect us to do?
If you want this to stop, get out there, make a lawful and go hunt them down.
2 suggestions:
1.Get out of Liberty, that place is wierd most of the time.
2.Be smarter then pirates that simply hug lanes, if they get you, you are the one doing something wrong, not them.
And that:

The Navy guys want to have their fun as well, running around to protect traders 25/7 isnt really funny. Hire escorts, thats why they exist.
Ya know, listening to all this makes me want to have my Liberty Freelancer, Dane Summers, join the Navy and hunt down pirates. certainly sounds like i wouldnt have to go far to find 'em
Well it was about to happen...there were smaller pirate groups in Cali(2-3 fighters) , but when they started to getting ganked by LN dreads and a hundred gunboats, and now pirates are doing the opposite..they gather in larger groups so they cannot be ganked and gank the navy...if there were at least some fairness from the beginning this wouldn't have happened...it's not the pirates' numbers the problem..but the attitude towards them...i got blown with my PT by a cruiser just because someone told him i was pirating (he saw no proof of me pirating) So yes i wil join the pirates and gank some cruisers too if i have a chance..
Honestly? I think I'm done with playing a lawful after that farce in New York just now.
Outcast gunboat, Rogue gunboat, Junker IFFed rogue destroyer thing (what), and a handful of rogue/hacker fighters/bombers, one of which was a Xeno.
Why was the Xeno assisting an Outcast against Liberty lawfuls? Uh, I don't know. I thought they were supposed to prefer Liberty folk to foreigners, but I guess that no longer applies to the XTF RP?
So, against this well-organized force, the lawfuls manged to put up: Two gunboats, a prison liner, and a battlecruiser that fled after losing his shields in five seconds and not managing to hit anything.
Both of the Liberty gunboats went poof, without (as far as I can tell) even managing to drop the shields on either of the criminal gunboats. I'm pretty sure that at least one of them had a UAU less than mark 8, while the criminals had at least one mark VI armor on their side.
Meanwhile, elsewhere in Liberty were three people tagged with LNS, at least one of whom was in a dreadnought, and none of whom bothered coming, never mind that I warned them of the situation something like ten minutes in advance.
The bad guys are better coordinated, better equipped, and better at fighting. I guess that playing a lawful is something you do when you're new, and I'm so over that now. Any pirate groups looking for people?
On an entirely related note, they seriously need to get rid of the bouncing when your hull is hit. Why does a fighter gun hitting me and doing almost no damage result in me bouncing around so much that it becomes impossible to shoot anything? How does that make any sense at all?
