He smiles like he never smiled for a long time go but now he does. He continues to hold her arm gently as she holds his. He looked her in her blue eyes and he saw and felt something he did not feal for a long time but he had to hold it he did not want to scare Christina.
"Aye lass I already know that,as well as I am going to be here if you need someone to talk to as well. I already feal a relieve and I want to really know you a lot better Kiki *he smirks*. I hope we can meet more, other then just on our Armed forces patrol ?"
He smiles and continues to hold her hand.
"You are really something that I haven't seen in quite a while ! Christina,"
He looks in to her eyes still continuing to hold her arms.
Leeds was quite the contrary to Cambridge, in terms of beauty factor of landscape and air quality at least. Layla admired Cambridge and its apparent inviolacy, the mountains, the valleys, the plains... Thus she had always tried to keep her presence to Leeds on a minimum length, but this day she just didn't have the energy to fly back anymore, so she decided to take a rest on Leeds. After having heard her fellows talking of a bar located in the underground she decided to pay "The Patriot" a visit.
It was larger than she expected it, much larger, there was several branches and rooms the bar was divided into. "These accomodations must have served another purpose prior to being channeled into this bar." she thought as she observed the room. There was a great variety of drinks offered at the bar, however, she wasn't looking for something to celebrate the evening with, admittedly, it was a succesful patrol today but no, she hadn't touched any alcohol since John fell into coma. Layla headed for the counter and ordered a extra-strong coffee, she knew her coffee consumption had reached excessive limits long ago but she simply couldn't abstain from this excellent short-term energy-boost. Layla held the lousy paper cup in her right hand and sipped at the beverage which was way too hot. Glancing around the room, her eyes got stuck at Commodore Davis who sat on a table a few feet away from here. And it was not only Davis, no, Ensign Christina Davis, who was in no way related to the Commodore, was sitting next to him, holding his hands. Layla slowly shook her head a smile appearing on her face. "Tsk, just entered the Armed Forces and already besieged by a high-ranked officer." Inconspicuously observing the two officers, it reminded her firmly at her very own first days in the Armed Forces and her first meetings with John.

Still smiling, she nods a bit. "I think that's a brilliant idea, Charles. It's so nice to have some who... who understands, if you know what I mean. I'd love to... see each other more often."
She took a quick glance over at Layla, recognizing her from a brief meeting on the compound at Cambridge. Turning back to Charles, she spoke. "How long do you think you can stay?"
Davis saw that Layla was watching them but he did not mind he was way to bisy look at Christina. But as Christina asked her question about how long he can stay a aged man came in and stood up on the entrance and looked at davis. It was his first officer Kendal Ozzel that nodded towards him. He looked at her and told her.
"Well not for very long seems my first officer has arrived its probably work. Well for my regret I will have to leave its probably something about the Harbinger, maybe I can show it to you someday."
He winks to her as he got up and still holding her hands. He let go to the one hand but as a gentleman he kissed her right hand he had still in his grasp and told her.
"Have a lovely evening,and stay sharp !"
He smiles and went to his first officer and as Christina waved at Charles , he waved back as well Kandal told something that made Chales smile as he was leaving the bar.

Christina sighed to herself as he left, waving at him. She drank what was left of her juice and sat at the table, contemplating getting herself something stronger.
Bearing the superb Mandalorian insignia, Steve Holloway strode into the bar, scanning every single living being in the place. 'This lass, that other lass, these guys, that one guy...' He sighed deeply and approached the bartender. "Yo' Tyson, don't tell me that Charlie Davis dude JUST disappeared!" To which the bartender nodded. Steve cursed in every single dialect he knew, grabbed a drink and sat alone in a table, stalking the entrance in case that one Davis baffie dared to return.
Layla watched Davis suddenly leaving, had she interrupted their private meeting? Without looking at the bartender she ordered a new coffee, got up from her chair and slowly walked at the table where Ensign Davis sat, who was staring straight ahead, apparently not having seen Layla coming. "Good evening Ensign. Davis, right? I believe I haven't officially greeted you, may I take a seat?"
With a warm smile on her face, Layla took a seat. "I'm Layla Clay, Lieutenant. You've only been in active duty for a few days so far, haven't you? I really hope you managed to fit into the troop, sometimes it's not easy..."

Christina smiled as Layla spoke, having told the truth earlier about wanting her company. "I'd like to think it's gone well so far, these past few days... only time will tell, but I know that I'm glad for the chance to serve Bretonia, if nothing else."
